Syftet med denna litteraturöversikt var att beskriva den hälsorelaterade livskvaliteten hos patienter med en implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD).  Studien genomfördes som en litteraturöversikt, där tolv vetenskapliga artiklar av kvantitativ karaktär analyserades och användes i studiens resultatdel.  Sökorden som användes var Defibrillators, Implantable, Quality of Life och health related. Inklusionskriterier var artiklar skrivna på engelska, peer-reviewed, publicerade från år 2000 och framåt samt deltagarna i dessa studier skulle vara 19 år eller äldre. I studien framkom det att ICD-patienter undvek specifika platser, objekt och fysiska aktiviteter relaterade till ICD:n. Också en oro över bilkörning framkom.  ICD-patienter utsätts för en förändring i livssituation och är i behov av stöd och individuell informationsgivning gällande deras medicintekniska anordning.

The aim of this two years master's thesis is to examine whether there are any gender based differences in the waymale and female researchers within library and information science publish and reference to other researchers.This within the Swedish context. Further, the aim is to examine the probability of gender playing a part in choiceof subject, which thereby also would effect the act of referencing. This is achieved through an analysis ofreference lists in the journal Svensk Biblioteksforskning between the years 1989 to 2009. The journal containsboth peer reviewed articles, as well as articles of a more popular scientific kind. As guidance during the study, ahandful of questions were used.

A cochlear implant (CI) is a hearing device that makes it possible for individuals who are deaf or has a severe hearing impairment to receive auditory information and develop spoken language. The pragmatic ability may be affected. In short, pragmatics may be described as the study of language use in social contexts. Pragmatic ability can be seen as the result of the individual?s behavior as well as the underlying causes.The aim of the present study was to describe the pragmatic ability in children with CI.

In the forest sector, non-industrial private forest (NIPF) owners commonly interact with numerous stakeholders (e.g. forest managers, timber buyers, harvesting contractors and advisors) for counseling, planning, selling and hiring. Forest management is therefore built and influenced by the relationships between NIPF owners and other stakeholders. In the local context of a Southern Sweden, the Swedish Forest Agency (SFA) and the Southern Forest Owners Association (SÖDRA) are very influential stakeholders in small-scale forest management. Based on qualitative interviews and by means of grounded theory, an analysis of the relationships between NIPF owners and the mentioned organizations was carried out in order to understand the social context at the genesis of forest management decisions.

Hur många skador kan en spelare förvänta sig i relation till antal exponeringstimmar av fotboll?MetodLitteratursökningen genomfördes i databaserna PubMed, SportDiscus, Cochrane Library och PEDro. Studien avgränsades till ungdomar mellan 13-19 år, publikationer i peer-reviewed tidskrifter samt skadeincidens rapporterad i relation till antal exponerade timmar. Enbart studier publicerade på svenska eller engelska användes.

Vi intervjuar läraren för att se vad hon säger om teori och undersöker vad i lärarens praktiskaverksamhet som går att koppla till teorin. Vi har ett särskilt fokus på verbal kommunikation i klassrummet ochhur läraren leder och styr lärandet. Vi har utgått främst från Lev Vygotskijs och Michail Bakhtins begrepp ochnutida forskare, då främst Olga Dysthe och Roger Säljö.I resultatet framkom att läraren hade kännedom om vissa delar av sociokulturella perspektiv, men iobservationerna framträdde även sådant som hon inte pratat om i intervjun. En undervisning byggd kring attelever lär av varandra är återkommande i intervjun med läraren och tydligt under observationerna.

ABSTRACT. Introduction: Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a retrovirus which occurs worldwide and spreads between humans mainly through sex, from mother to child, blood and blood products and between injecting drug users. After been infected with HIV for a couple of years the final stage of the infection progress into Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), and there is no cure or vaccine, only medication that delays the development of the disease. Objective: The aim of this thesis is to examine the preventive work against HIV in Sweden, the groups at risk for getting infected and to highlight sexual attitudes and behaviours among adolescents and young adults. Method: A literature based study method was used and the material is based on scientific articles and reports from active actors within the field of HIV prevention.
