This study examined gray areas within professional ethics of a public library Organization and investigated the relationship between the library as an Organization and the librarian as an employee when it comes to support and opportunities to make exceptions to rules and regulations. This relationship is then related to workplace issues.Data were gathered via interviews with six librarians who were placed into two focus groups. Library Organization documents that contain rules and regulations (guidelines) were examined. The presumption was that conformity between librarians? experiences and actions and the Organization?s guidelines will tell us something about workplace conditions.

The purpose of this paper was to gain knowledge about the conversation about developmental opportunities in the Organization, and how a company uses it. The focus was on four different themes, purpose of the conversation about developmental opportunities in the Organization, planning, execution and content, feedback. The sample consisted of six people, three employees and three managers of the company. The interviews were conducted by an interview guide, one for the employees and one for the managers. The results of the interviews showed that the conversation about developmental opportunities in the Organization was used by managers to make all employees to strive in the same direction, an opportunity for employees to reconcile how their work performance is perceived by their managers, the use of a preparation model differs between managers and feedback was important.

The aim with the study is to find key factors relating to internal marketing and to improve the process between the operating Organization and its customers. A qualitative study is carried out within an Organization active in the Swedish healthcare. The qualitative approach is carried out by collecting empirical data through observations, personal interviews and group interviews.The Physiotherapy Clinic at the Karolinska University Hospital is in the focus of the empirical study. The study locates existing differences in perceptions and comes up with recommendations for actions to improve the process of organisations within the Swedish healthcare and their customers. The study's results are that internal marketing can bring a lot to service-selling Organizations and that the Organizations internal conditions are as important as the external ones.Communication appears to be a key factor for an Organization that has applied internal marketing.

Information Audit en informationsgranskning vid Borås Stads äldre- och handikappomsorg inom kommundel Centrum.

An information audit identifies, among other things, Organizations information resources, the information flow and the needs of the information users. The purpose of this masters thesis was to describe the management of information within a local unit of Borås municipality by putting an information audit-method in practice. The focus was on three issues: What information needs could be seen in the Organization? How does the information flow through the Organization? How does Sugan Henczels seven-stage model serve as a tool to map the management of information within the local unit? The study only described the situation at a certain time at the chosen Organization. The seven-stage information audit model was revised and adjusted to the studied Organization by only carrying out four of the seven steps: Planning, Data collection, Data analysis and Data evaluation.

My problem comes out of the bigger question ?why the Catholic church is featured in horror films whenever a religious Organization is in one?? I have detected in the horror films that I've seen that when a religious Organization is in a horror movie it's the Catholic church that gets to act as church and religion. I have chosen the following problem: How is the Catholic church presented in the horror movies The Exorcist and The Rite, and how can one understand these presentations from a role theoretic perspective?Since role theory has it's background in the world of the theater with it's actors and roles, it came naturally to use role theory, and specifically Goffmans dramatic model. I've used this model in a film analysis of the movies.

The purpose of our study is to provide a deeper understanding of the Organization at alive concert. We want to identify and bring together different agents implicit knowledge and make it explicit. We contribute to the theoretical discussion by examining how liveconcerts are organized and why, what goals there are to participate in the Organizationof the concerts as well as how the Organization manage and control towards these goals.Our study is based on 15 interviews with different agents involved in the creation of liveconcerts. The study has shown that the Organization of live concerts is similar to atemporary, imaginary Organization because there is a temporary and implicit structure.Relationships are created by the agents? cooperation and customer relations with thesubcontractors.

This paper aims to provide a description of how knowledge can occur in Apoteket AB, anOrganization that is operating on the Swedish pharmacy market. The purpose of this paper isalso to describe how the Organizational learning occurs in the Organization, and how theoutcome of this learning can be stored in the Organizational memory. This subject is ofinterest since Apoteket AB experience changes in their external environment in that they nolonger have monopoly to sell pharmaceuticals on the Swedish pharmacy market. Earlierresearch claims that Organizations need to develop new knowledge in order to take action, andthis development needs to be supported by the management within the Organization.The collection of primary data was done by two qualitative interviews with employees withinthe Organization of Apoteket AB.Our conclusions are that knowledge can occur in many forms, such as tacit and explicitknowledge. The vast majority of the knowledge within the Organization is the information thatcan be found in the electronic database Aponet within Apoteket AB, and that is useful for theemployees in their daily work, and therefore is known as explicit knowledge.

Since events of September 11 and the subsequent conflicts surrounding the event, the war against terrorism has been constantly present. It has been used several methods and strategies to address these threats, including a method current in use, the targeting method. The method refers to use few but precise attacks to knock out key functions within these Organizations, mostly individuals in the higher command and control structures within these Organizations. The effectiveness of the method has been put in question when the majority of the terrorist Organizations continue their strife, in some cases even increasing its intensity. The purpose of this study is to investigate which role the higher command plays in these Organizations ability to wage war.

Implementering och kommunikation av ekologisk h?llbarhet. En fallstudie om utmaningar och strategier i fordonsindustrin

The purpose of the study is to explore the internal implementation and communication of ecological sustainability within an Organization and to identify obstacles and challenges that may arise. To address the study's purpose and research questions, a qualitative methodology and semi-structured interviews were used. Respondents were selected from two different units within a large global Organization operating in the automotive industry. The study's findings indicate that the Organization's sustainability efforts are extensive and integrated across several departments. It is also evident that sustainability initiatives are primarily driven by upper management within the Organization, although there is room for lower hierarchical levels to provide some feedback.

This is a qualitative study that includes participants that are in connection with a non-civic Organization in Sweden. The study aims to capture the participants? subjective experiences regarding human service Organizations. The starting point is to catch both their positive and negative experiences, and then try to concretize what directed their perception in both ways. Is there any specific Organization that is represented in positive and the negative column? Is it possible to explain the experience by looking at the Organization and the Organizational goals? Is it possible to see variables that might explain the perception?The study has a narrative focus that seeks the answers in the organisational context rather than in the stories themselves.

AbstractSeveral of researchers have reflected that the school ought to be developed to a learning Organization. A method as proceed from such a perspective and should be able to match a local child- and educations administration is problembased school development. To investigate in which ways a child- and educations administration prosecute a problem based learning inside the Organization a case study was used as research strategy. The question this report gives answer to is:In what/which way works a child- and educations administration in a rural district with a method to fulfil a problembased learning.To collect empiric data a canvassing inquiry was accomplished among the child- and educations administrations group of management. According to the research result it can declares that there are good conditions for the Organization to prosecute problem based school development, but there is yet a great deal to do before it´s can be said totally fulfilled.

This is a comparative study of the use of intranet in three Organizations. The Organizations are one help Organization, one hospital and one business company. The intranet is a relatively new medium and it might still not have been accepted by all potential users, which is a waste of resources both for the individual employee and for the overall Organization. It is therefore necessary to investigate if there are any differences between Organizations concerning the needs of intranets. Our purpose with this study was to deepen the understanding of the use of intranets as a channel of Organizational communication and thereby acknowledge the users´ needs and opinions of the intranet.
