Syftet var att undersöka vilken betydelse hälsofrämjande insatser har för upplevd hälsa bland anställda på kvinnodominerade arbetsplatser. Vårt delsyfte med uppsatsen var att genom analys av empiri och teori ge råd till arbetsgivare angående hur hälsofrämjande insatser bör riktas. Vår studie har visat på att tre faktorer (positivt arbetsklimat, inflytande, socialt stöd) har primär betydelse för individens upplevda hälsa. Det är viktigt att först påverka dessa tre för att en förändring i de sekundära faktorerna (kompetensutveckling, friskvård, återhämtning) skall kunna uppstå. Vi menar att detta tankesätt kan underlätta för en organisations främjande av hälsa vilket kan leda till att öka en individs hälsa på arbetsplatsen..

 Abstract: Facebook in the Public Sector - qualitative interviewstudy with The Swedish maritime Administration, the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute, the Swedish prison and Probation services and the municipality of Katrineholm about their precense on Facebook.In my bachelor?s thesis I have studied how three government authority and one municipality uses or don?t use Facebook in their communication towards the citizens. I have chosen to study four different cases, to see if there are any significant similarities or differences between how the different services are working with their communication. I have chosen to explore my cases through semi-structured qualitative interviews, where I met communications officers of every organisation face to face.I have found out that there is not one right way to communicate through Facebook, every organisations decisions must be based on their own mission, aims and objectives. And I have seen that both the transmitter and the receiver need to mature into the new acting of this new channel - Facebook..

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to examine what role the new city library in Halmstad has for its users. The questions posed in this study are: What do the users actually do at the library? What roles are the most significant according to the users? Have the politicians succeeded in their intention of realizing a modern library according to the users? The theoretical starting point is Andersson?s and Skot-Hansen?s theory of four different roles of public libraries. In order to extend the model we added a fifth function; the one of aesthetical experience.

AbstractI believe that everyone have the right to understand and be understood. It doesn´t matter if you are an immigrant, suffer from dyslexia or just don´t like to read.In this study I test the difference between a normal written and an easy-to-read routine. I want to know if there is a way to improve a routine in such a way that even people without pre-understanding can comprehend the content.Routines are an important part in many organisations. Staffroutines in nursinghomes don´t exist just to ensure that caretakers are being taken care of in the right way according to the rules and wishes of the organisation. They also exist to make the work with people who suffer from dementia easier for the staff.Routines are in other words very important.

This thesis is an analysis of articles published in the Palestinian newspaper al-Quds concerning the escalated conflicts within the Fatah movement during the summer in 2004.The study is done on the basis of the assumption that The Palestinian Authority (PA) expects the domestic media institutions to support the official objectives and, in this case most important, the national unity. My investigation reveals that the articles are indeed highly adjusted and purposed to unify and to hinder further growing instability, both in the politicalsphere and in the streets. The message urging for unification under the PA is constantly, directly and indirectly, repeated throughout the articles by the choice of themes and references as well as by the choice of individuals and organisations delivering statements..

Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur nyanställda upplever sin socialisation vad gäller social kompetens och yrkeskompetens. Studiens två frågeställningar var; Hur upplever nyanställda att de har förvärvat social kompetens genom Organisations-socialiseringen? Hur upplever de nyanställda att de har socialiserats in i yrkeskompetensen? Undersökningen var av kvalitativ karaktär där fyra semi-strukturerade intervjuer har genomförts. Resultatet visar på att de nyanställda upplever att de har socialiserats in i organisationen vad gäller den sociala kompetensen genom sina mer erfarna medarbetare och även genom att sätta sig in i organisationskulturen vid ett tidigt stadie. Yrkeskompetensen har också förvärvats genom interaktion med de äldre medarbetarna men även genom att praktiskt utföra arbetet istället för att läsa sig till kunskapen. .

The elderly care is an area of great importance to women. Women are more often in need of elderly care; they work with the service and provide a majority of the informal service. Research shows that managers? work-related prerequisites are significantly different between the male dominated technical administration and the female dominated care and educational administration. Studies also show that what the highest managerial organisation gives priority to, often permeate the whole organisation.

Internet  has  given  possibilities  to  a  whole  new world within communication. Nowadays  the communication  inside organisations and companies  takes place  through  the Internet. The  idea  of  this paper  arose when one of  the  authors discussed  the  general  involvement of  the  tenant-owner?s association  in  the committee. Providing a new channel  for  communication  through a homepage  could  affect  the  attitude  of  the  tenants.  We  were  curious  of  what  effect  on communication  introducing a homepage would give.

Entrepreneurship is said to be the missing link between knowledge and growth in the Swedish economy. New ventures run a high risk of failing and this holds true especially for technology ventures. Since company leaders have proven to exert an influence on organisations' survival possibilities, the selection of an appropriate CEO is important. The purpose of this study is to describe the importance of the CEO for ventures as well as to explain how knowledge and experience affect the opinion of who should be CEO. Using a qualitative case study research design including three life science companies, we show that there are three main factors crucial when selecting a CEO.

Denna rapport går igenom processen av att skapa ett säljande koncept och förklarar hur man genom att ta ett steg ut ur en organisations trygghetszon kan locka nya besökare och intressenter. I det här examensarbetet har vi skapat ett marknadsförandekoncept för Studiefrämjandets ledarutbildningar. Uppdraget var att väcka ett större intresse kring utbildningarna och verktygen vi har använt oss av är digitala medier. Tillsammans med en kortfilm har vi skapat en prototyp till ett modulverktyg som i kombination med filmen fungerar som en inspirationsplats för ledarutbildningarna. Modulen som helhet har tre uppgifter; att inspirera, att motivera och att uppmana till handling.

On the basis of theoretical knowledge about the complex of problems which can occur in an implementation of a collaboration project, the purpose of this essay is, to examine how representatives on each authority relate to and manage collaboration as a work method, the awareness of problems within the organisations that collaborate, and the preparedness around how to manage problems with collaboration. "Unga vuxna" is a collaboration project between Kalmar county council and all 12 municipalities in the county council. More specifically it is a cooperation project between psychiatry and social services. Theories used in this essay are professor Berth Danermarks studies about collaboration, and social psychologist Jay Hall?s theory about capability.

Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka nätverksorganisationens betydelse för företagande i en föränderlig omgivning och på så sätt utöka kunskapen om och intresset för arbete och utveckling i nätverksföretag. Metod: Denna uppsats har en kvalitativ ansats med fokus på intervjuer i form av en fallstudie. Teoretiska perspektiv: Uppsatsen tar upp de teoriområden som berör nätverksorganisationer och dess lösningar och problem. Slutsats: Genom ett proaktivt förhållningssätt till tillväxt, sitt intellektuella kapital samt de förändringar som sker inom branschen tillgodogör Mäklarhuset sig en stor konkurrensfördel. Allt tyder på att den företagsform som nätverket utgör är ett mycket slagkraftigt alternativ i det aktuella fallet, och att nätverk som organisations typ över lag utgör en mycket viktig del i företagsvärlden i det förändringsklimat som idag råder..

Informationsteknik används i alltfler delar i en organisations verksamhet. I och med att användningen ökar så ökar också sannolikheten för att datorrelaterade problem ska inträffa. För att skydda sig mot detta borde företag ta ett samlat grepp på sitt säkerhetsarbete. I dag jobbar många företag med ledningssystem för kvalité (ISO 9000) och miljöledning (ISO 14000). Om de jobbade lika systematiskt för att samordna sitt säkerhetsarbete så skulle de förmodligen bli mer effektiva och därmed skapa en bättre överblick över verksamheten.

Conflict prevention is a term which has gained much influence during the last decades. To prevent conflicts from occuring have both humanitarian and economic incentives as the cost for war are much greater than the cost of acting preventive. To act in this matter has been regarded a priority for the United Nations during several years, and the European Union have also expressed a wish of playing a more active part. Man brukar säga att allt ligger i betraktarens öga och det gäller även när man pratar om organisationer. Hur en organisation uppfattas har att göra med hur andra ser på den. Genom att studera organisationer och granska miljön och medlemmarnas beteenden kan man skapa sig en bredare uppfattning om en organisations kultur. Forskare har kommit fram till att en organisations kultur är de normer, värderingar och beteenden som finns inom organisationen och uttrycks via artefakter. Artefakterna kan tolkas för att beskriva organisationens kultur och identitet.
