Banverket ICT är en relativt ny enhet med de sammanslagna enheterna Banverket IT och Banverket Telenät. För att få ihop det nya arbetssättet finns långt gångna tankar på att jobba enligt ITIL. ITIL är ett arbetssätt som skall hjälpa organisationer att arbeta mer organiserat och därmed öka effektiviteten för IT-processen. För att upprätthålla samma effektivitet som innan uppgraderingen kan de anställda genomgå en fortbildning inom den nya programvaran. Denna rapport behandlar en studie kring hur man kan utveckla ett utbildningspaket vars fokus ligger på atta uppfylla användarnas och företagets behov vid uppgradering av deras IT-lösning. The purpose of this paper is to study how the perception of an Office environment is influenced by different kinds of art settings. The study is made as a survey in which the respondents have been exposed to working environments, only differentiated by the existence of different kinds of art or non-existence of art in the presentation. Förbränningspannor som används i syfte i att producera elektrisk kraft eller ånga som sedan används i olika processer i ett kraftverk utgör en stor andel i världens elektricitetsproduktion. För att göra pannorna mer effektivare och minska andelen utsläpp pågår en ständig forskning och utveckling. Resultatet av denna studie består av utformningen av en simuleringsmodell av en förbränningspanna för att kunna användas till utbildningssyfte och behandlar bränsleanalyser, rökgasmängder samt effektivitet. Det som modellen simulerar är: verkningsgrad, den effekt som genereras, andelen syre samt koldioxid i rökgaserna baserat på användarens parameterinställning. Modellen är gjord i programvaran Microsoft Office Excel för att tillgodose tillgänglighet. .

This thesis of 15 hp has been implemented at Halmstad University, in collaboration with Saab Dynamics in Linköping. Saab Dynamics is a company operating in the defence industry where competition is tough. This necessitates new ways to increase efficiency in the company, which is the basis for this thesis. Saab Dynamics wants to introduce simulation driven design. Since Saab Dynamics engineers have little experience of simulation, required a user methodology with clear guidelines.

The city of Uppsala and its surroundings are a very expansive area. A prerequisite for a sustainable development of the area is well-functioning supply of drinking water. In Uppsala municipality, the Uppsala esker and Vattholma esker are the groundwater storages for drinking water. Besides the eskers, other sources of qualitative groundwater in the Uppsala municipality are relatively poor and more than half of the area consists of ground conditions with a risk of saline groundwater. The neighbourhood of Vreta-Ytternäs is situated 10 km south of Uppsala, in the area with risk of saline groundwater but outside the municipal water supply.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the reason behind thedecision by a company regarding the desire to use mobile access to theirERP-system and to discover whether this will involve any loss offunctionally in comparison to using the ERP-system on a computer atthe Office. In addition, the pros and cons involved in using mobiledevices for accessing the ERP-system will also be examined. Semistructured telephone interviews were conducted with companies whicheither used or did not use mobile devices in relation to their work. Atelephone interview was also conducted with a consultant who isworking with the implementation of ERP-systems and mobile solutions.The survey showed that companies with staff working in the field assellers, service personnel and construction workers want to gain directaccess to their ERP-system so as to be able to act directly and takedecisions, to have the ability to provide more efficient order processingand to send out invoices more quickly. Those companies which have notopted to use mobile devices at work within this field are those whichare unsure of the connection to the Internet and the capacities availablewithin cellphones.

A study to optimize insulation thickness for stock-, industrial- and Office-buildings for external walls and roof in an economical perspective has been conducted on behalf of DynaMate. DynaMate?s role is to maintain all Scania?s buildings. Analysis has also included other parts of the building envelope, such as windows, exterior doors and industrial doors. In this thesis, three different types of exterior wall constructions has been investigated, these are a sandwich design consisting of sheet metal and a another one consisting of concrete, as well as a wall of concrete with a coating of plasters.

I byggnaden ska det finnas kontorslokaler som Videum AB kan hyra ut till andra företag. Kravet är att planlösningen ska vara flexibel och kreativ.
