AimThe purpose of this study has been to examine attitudes towards dance in a broad sense, among Swedish schoolchildren. The study has been done with three different questions in mind: What do pupils think and express about dance? Are there any differences in attitude towards dance between girls and boys? And how do the pupils relate to gender conceptions in connection to dance illustrations?MethodEight pupils 12 ? 14 years of age have been interviewed separately during physical education lessons. During parts of the interviews dance illustrations were used in order to encourage the pupils in their discussions, especially when asked to relate to dance and gender conceptions. The statements have been interpreted from a gender theoretical perspective.ResultsMy interview study shows that male pupils to a larger extent than female pupils inhabit hostile feelings towards dance as part of physical education lessons.

The wood-living beetle Ceruchus chrysomelinus is a rare species connected to natural forests. In Sweden, it is red-listed as endangered (EN) and an action plan for its preservation has been done by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency. In this work I have therefore investigated how a translocation of the species succeeded after 17 years. I aimed to study the species dispersal biology, its substrate preferences and the supply of suitable wood on this site. The study was performed during 2012 in Pansaruddens nature reserve close to Uppsala in Sweden, which is a spruce dominated forest.

The purpose of this study has been to examine a few Swedish advertisment producers opinions on the subject of viral advertising and especially the ethical aspects of hidden viral advertising. The specified purpose of this paper is to:To clarify the underlying reasons for the use of viral advertising.To clarify the advertising producers ethical views on hidden viral advertising.The essay is based on a qualitive research metod of an abductive nature where the empirical data is derived from interviews with three advertisment producers. Through a stratified selection method we contacted agencies that in one way or another uses digital solutions as an advertisment method. All interviews were conducted via the digital chat room Skype, one of the interviews were conducted with both picture and sound and the other two with audio-only.The following points are the essential conclusions of our study:Hidden viral advertising is seen as a rare promotional method in Sweden today, however, the viral-spread effect is more commonly used.The economic factors together with the spreading capacity of the viral advertising is contributing to one of the biggest reasons behind the use of viral advertising. In addition to these, viral advertising is seen as an effective way to stand out from traditional advertising.Viral advertising where the sender is hidden or unclear is always seen as unethical.

There have been, in some rare cases, difficulties with clamping of inserts with U-holesin their tool holder. According to the complaints, the inserts could not be properlyclamped or could fracture when clamped. A study has shown that variations inclamping behaviour are mainly depending by the position of the screw hole in the toolholder and the centering of the screw hole in the insert.The focus of this project has been the centering of screw hole in insert. The research aims at revealing consumers? loyalty to a high involvement product category, connected to a loyalty membership club. Hence, the study aims at explaining similarities and differences between two markets, differently developed in terms of loyalty clubs. The study used IKEA, its loyalty club IKEA FAMILY and women as the company?s main target group, in a case format to study loyalty membership clubs.

Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva hur första tiden i yrket för gymnasiematematiklärare kan gestalta sig, undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkar denna tid samt om situationen för de nyblivna lärarna ändrar sig över tiden. Tonvikten ligger vid att finna de olika faktorer som påverkar den nyblivna gymnasiematematiklärarens yrkesdebut, eller med andra ord; att beskriva yrkesdebutens betingelser. Studien består av två delar, en litteraturstudie och en empirisk studie. I den empiriska studien har fyra olika gymnasiematematiklärare som nyligen yrkesdebuterat djupintervjuats. Resultatet från dessa intervjuer stämmer väl överens med vad som sägs i den tidigare forskningen.

Syftet med vår uppsats är att undersöka hur arbetsförlagt lärande, APL fungerar på ett företagsom tar emotelever från ett yrkesinriktat gymnasieprogram.Vi har gjort en fallstudie kring detta företag och genomfört intervjuer med tre elever som varit på detta företag på sin praktik, APL. Vi har även intervjuat två personer på företaget, samt den lärare som på gymnasieskolan är den ansvarige för APL och har kontakt med företaget.Genom vår undersökning har vi stärkts i uppfattningen att de teorier vi valt att se undersökningen genom, det sociokulturella och det entreprenöriella perspektivet, som också förespråkas av Skolverket och genomsyrar den svenska skolan idag, är relevanta. Verklighetskontakten med det kommande yrket är ytterst viktigt, det är alla parter eniga om. De intervjuade eleverna bekräftar också att de blir motiverade och upplever att de lär sig yrkespraxisen och den tysta kunskapen i yrket lättare på plats. Det som är svårt att förmedla inom skolans ramar.

Detta menar rapporten är särskilt viktigt för kvinnor då dessa generellt tar mer ansvar för familjen.

Denna litteraturstudies ansats a?r att beskriva hur det sociala klimatet i skolan sta?r i relation till mobbning.Med mobbning menas a?terkommande beteende/ha?ndelser da?r en part blir drabbad, fysiskt eller psykiskt/socialt av en eller flera individers handlande.Med socialt klimat menas huvudsakligen hur relationerna ter sig mellan dem som befinner sig i skolmiljo?n, fra?mst la?rare och elever. Bakgrundsfaktorer sa?som socioekonomisk status, etnicitet och ko?n pa?verkar det sociala klimatet, liksom faktorer ba?de pa? individ-, klassrums- och skolniva?.I studien konstateras att forskning till stor del saknas, som belyser effekter av olika insatser fo?r fo?ra?ndring av det sociala klimatet med ma?let att minska mobbning (kausalstudier). The purpose of this Bachelor?s thesis is twofold. Firstly it aims to make a contribution to the understanding of how five Swedish Diocesan libraries have carried out the digitizing of their rare book and manuscript collections. Title: Education and working life of music teachers, a study of the music teacher education at the Malmö Academy of Music - from a theoretical and practical perspective. The purpose of this study is to examine the possible flaws within the single subject music teacher education. The study is based on qualitative interviews of four informants, two recently graduated music teachers, and two representatives of the potential employment market. In the theory chapter we provide the reader with a pre-comprehension of the content and foundation of the music teacher department, as well as the duties of a music teacher. In the result chapter we provide a compilation of the opinions of our informants regarding the music teacher education at the Malmö Academy of Music, as well as the demands and expectations in their profession as a music teacher.

Disturbances, such as fire and wind, are important for saproxylic beetles (= beetles depending on decaying wood) to gain substrate in boreal forests. Clear-cutting is an example of a man-made disturbance. Measures such as prescribed burning have been made to resemble natural disturbances. The aim of this study was to see which clear-cut characteristics are important for the occurrence of the saproxylic beetle Upis ceramboides. This is a species favored by open habitats and is said to respond positively to forest fires. The distribution area in Sweden for this species has decreased during the last two centuries and I wanted to see if there were differences between clear-cuts in Hälsingland, where it is very rare and decreasing, and Norrbotten where this study was conducted.

The aim of this study is to examine how the induction period for newly employed upper secondary school teachers is implemented in practice, in relation to the Swedish Education Act and the National Agency for Education?s general guidelines. Although this induction period has been legally mandated since 2010, both previous research and current statistics indicate significant shortcomings or wide variation in its practical execution. The study is based on a qualitative interview study involving 13 school leaders. The interview responses were analyzed using three complementary theoretical frameworks: Lipsky?s theory of street-level bureaucracy, Meyer and Rowan?s concept of decoupling, and Schein?s model of organizational culture.
