Hjälpande makt : En studie om uppdraget som god man
This study illustrates how the power relation between the trustee and principals are experienced and maintained in proportion to the missions design. The main focus lies on understanding of how trustee perceives and applies the mission`s cornerstones and how power can be expressed in the relationship between trustees and principals. Nine semi-structured interviews were conducted with trustees whose principals were mentally disabled. The interviews were then analyzed with the support of Foucault's concept of discipline, knowledge, control, surveillance and reward/punishment and Tilly's theory of persistent inequality We have obtained an understanding of the complexity of the assignment regarding the mission`s cornerstones who goes into every other, and all respondents agreed that the cornerstones should be considered as a whole. We concluded that the trustee on the basis of the mission's design possesses a power that is necessary and important to have regarding the relation to his principal and its social network.

Ericsson AB i Borås är en del av Business Unit Transmission & Transport Networks (BTTN), en affärsenhet inom Ericssonkoncernen. Enheten tillverkar och tillhandahåller trådlösa och optiska transmissionssystem. På grund av häftiga marknadssvängningar, som stundtals genererar så pass hög orderinläggning att vissa underleverantörer har svårigheter att leverera enligt överkommelse, uppstår materialbrist och leveransförseningar. Denna omständighet och det faktum att vissa kunder inte tillhandahåller Ericsson några prognoser, leder till omfattande omplaneringar som i sin tur medför extra arbete som inte tillför kunden något mervärde. Syftet med examensarbetet har därför varit att kartlägga kundorderprocessen samt huvudplaneringens arbetsrutiner för att sedan analysera och framställa eventuella förbättringsförslag för att reducera antalet omplaneringar.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine how the lifestyle of youth between the ages of 15-17 is influenced by electronic media and also what view and opinions youth has regarding electronic media and lifestyle. We intend to examine how and when the youth use electronic media in their everyday lives, what purpose the electronic media has in the life of the youth, and finally what views and opinions regarding electronic media and questions regarding lifestyle the youth express. We as librarians and adults need more knowledge on how youth use electronic media and also what thoughts they have regarding media and lifestyle. We would like to bring some knowledge to the discussion in this area with our study to librarians as well as parents.

The female labour is still a rather unexploited resource in many parts of the world. Unleashing women?s potential, giving them the possibility to start their own enterprises would increase the economic growth. Not only does women's entrepreneurship foster greater equality in the world but it also creates a more versatile economy. Sweden is considered to be one of the most equal countries in the world; still, entrepreneurship is an area with sharp gender differences, especially in some industries.
Är morsan för gammal för sociala medier?
Ett av de mest omtalade fenomenen de senaste åren har varit den snabba utvecklingen av digitala medier och sociala nätverk. Teknologin har utvecklats från att ha varit något som användes ibland och var till för arbete och underhållning, till att vara en stor del av livet och för vissa en nödvändighet. De nya medierna och sociala nätverken är idag en stor del av mångas vardag och påverkar hur vi tar in information, kommunicerar och utrycker våra tankar och idéer. Under de senaste åren har allt fler organisationer valt att ta in sociala medier i sin marknadsföringsstrategi och organisationerna har företagsprofiler på bland annat Facebook och YouTube för att kommunicera med kunderna. Yngre generationer har växt upp med tekniken och sociala medier vilket är en resa som äldre inte har följt med på och därför är en vanlig uppfattning idag att endast yngre generationer använder sig av de nya mediekanalerna.

A conference is not only a meeting but an experience as well. The purpose of this study was to analyze and evaluate four conference organizers within the area of Stockholm Sweden, and to identify their range of activities. Studies were made regarding these conference organizers and how they cooperate with other companies to offer a wider aspect of range. The purpose was also to find out how the demand side of the market appears. The demand side of the market could give an implication of how the conference organizers appear from their perspective and how the conference organizers adjust to their demand.
Telekomspecialisering i Östra Europa - Integrationens betydelse för en produktionsfragmenterad industri
One of the most distinguishing features of contemporary globalisation is production fragmentation, a splitting up of the manufacturing of a good into several different stages. Production fragmentation creates new opportunities through vertical specialization; a country incapable of mastering the entire production process may specialize in the manufacturing of one separate part. The aim of this thesis is to examine to what extent international integration affects a country?s ability to engage in vertical specialization in an industry characterized by production fragmentation. The analysis focuses on the european integration process over the last decade, where countries in eastern Europe with relatively low labour costs have been integrated with more capital abundant western economies.
Fjärrvärmesystem
This is a report written for an examination project C-level, on the subject of energy. The examination project is a product of the FVB Sweden AB (district heating bureau). It started with a meeting with Stefan Jonsson FVB Sweden AB, were he explained the content of the project, and from this a presentation of the problem was made. The problem that needed to be solved was how they could control the valves in the system to provide heating to everyone in the system. The valves are often oversized so the pump in the heating plant would have to be enormous to be able to provide enough flow to be sufficient, if everyone in the system had there valves fully opened. I came up with two solutions to the problem, one was a wireless network that could keep track of the valves and the other solution was an extra sensor that was placed on the radiator.

The purpose of this study is to examine the information seeking behaviour among unestablished archaeologists. Special attention has been directed to the areas of informal communication and the development of personal Networks. As a former archaeology student I have been able to apply my previously acquired knowledge when writing this thesis. The empirical study is based on nine interviews with archaeologists each with more than one and less than four years of professional experience. They all have various experience of working as a fieldarchaeologist and five have simultaneously worked as university researchers.

"Jag bara tar ur skafferiet det som passar..." : En undersökning av hur lärare och barnbibliotekarier arbetar med skönlitteratur på lågstadiet
The aim of this thesis was to investigate the methods used by teachers and childrens' librarians concerning their work with fiction at the junior school level. Based on a series of qualitative interviews and by compiling a list of short summaries of literature relevant to our thesis we wished to reflect on the manner in which the respondents see themselves in their teaching roles.We also wanted to discover what problems they had in their work and what visions they held for the future. The methods used by the teachers were mainly: reading- both aloud and individually, process-oriented writing, use of fiction in thematic studies and dramatization. The teachers' aspirations for the future included a centrally situated school library and further education in children's literature. The teachers take the needs of their pupils as a starting point and build on these needs - using many years of literary teaching experience as a foundation."Booktalks" for the children and intermediaries (teachers ...)and education in books and library systems are the childrens' librarians main literaturepedagogic methods.
Trådlösa nätverk, säkerhet och kryptering
Användandet av trådlösa nätverk breder ut sig mer och mer både bland företag och privatpersoner. För privatpersoner kan det vara skönt att slippa sladdarna som ett vanligt nätverk för med sig och för företag kan det trådlösa nätverket fungera som ett komplement till det vanliga i miljöer där man inte kan eller vill använda vanliga nätverk. Det är ett smidigt sätt att koppla upp sig mot ett nätverk utan att vara fysiskt ansluten till det. Smidigheten har dock ett pris i form av att det är lättare att avlyssna trådlösa nätverk i och med att kommunikationen går genom etern och det saknas fysiskt skydd i form av byggnader och lås som finns för traditionella nätverk. Med tanke på detta är det viktigt att man säkrar nätverket på ett ordentligt sätt.
I detta arbete har jag studerat trådlösa nätverk; hur de fungerar, vilka hot som kan finnas och vad man kan göra för att skydda sig.

AbstractPurpose:The purpose of the study is to describe the internationalization process of one firm when in a country culturally diverse from the firm?s original market.Methodology/approach:The study is a single case study which examines one firm?s internationalization process when entering the Chinese market. The approach has been an empiric interaction between empirical and theoretical data.Findings:The theory of the Uppsala model was applied to the case-company to test the model?s completeness. The authors found weaknesses and added three more aspects to the model.
De behöver...mer från grunden : En kvalitativ studie om hur lärare arbetar med språklig medvetenhet i en klass med svenska som andraspråk
Background: The competition is getting harder between the universities. To reach the high school students and discover which means of contact they prefer and how they perceive student recruitment are important issues in order to succeed in marketing strategies.Purpose: The purpose with our report is to investigate, analyze and compare the student recruitment in three universities and investigate how the high school students want to be contacted. Then we compare to see if they think alike.Method: We have done a qualitative study and chosen to use focus group interviews for the high school students and interviews for the universities to collect our empirical data. We have compared the empirical data and analyzed it with communication processes and marketing communication as theoretical grounds.Result: All of the universities work approximately the same way with their student recruitment. They put a large effort in the Internet and social Networks as well as the personal contact.
