TV-seriers roll som kanal för produktplacering
Product placement isn´t a new concept, matter of fact it has existed for almost hundred years. On the other hand to use TV-series as a marketing channel for product placement is a present vogue for brands and companies to reach the right target audience. Through product placement in TV-series companies are available to get away with the problem that people zapping commercials. Our purpose with the thesis is to have increased comprehension about TV-series as a channel for product placement considering effect against different target audience, products and brands. For this study we applied a qualitative approach and did six depth interviews with different people to gain several viewpoints.

We also wanted to study if strong brands could develop in to strategic competition means and by that expand their market range. To do this we used a qualitative method. We started by gathering a theoretical basis. This gave us a platform, which helped us learn more about the subject, brands.

In this study I have examined how narrative techniques can be used to promote the reading value and readability in information. My focus has been on the communication-agency Mandoly?s information-brochure which function is to inform other companies about their own potential for development in collaboration with Mandoly. The purpose with this study is to examine how it is possible to increase the reading value in order to engage the target group. In my study I have used four methods: analysis of Mandoly?s old information-brochure, literature studies, a qualitative interview, and an user test.

The purpose of this study is to examine the physical space of children?s libraries in Sweden, and also to see which influences there are in the literature about the same subject. What ideas exist in the literature about the physical room of children?s libraries? We have studied how and if these influences can be seen in a selected number of children?s libraries. Our theoretical perspective is based on Anthony Gidden?s theory of construction.

This is done in order to answer the question how alternative Hollywood works against or with Classical Hollywood Cinema in cases like style and narrative. The Work is done by a theory of neoformalism and the definition made by them of Classical Hollywood Cinema. Stark, stolt och finsk : En studie om finska kvinnors liv i Sverige
The purpose of this study is to illustrate and analyze what the socializing process of the Finn ish woman looks like ant to discuss what contributes to the feeling of inclusion, or the feeling of exclusion. The questions asked in the study aim to classify what influenced the decision to move to Sweden. Furthermore they aim to describe what the life in Sweden has been like and what the socialization process for the Finnish woman looks like. Finally I will study what kind of impact the change of life has had for the feeling of inclusion and for social identity. Initially the Finnish immigration to Sweden, through time, is described and then earlier stud ies relation to this study is accounted for. Then the role of social pedagogy in this study is presented.
Att förstå skolans faktatexter i år 9 : En studie om några elevers läsförståelse av obearbetad och bearbetad lärobokstext.
Syftet med vår studie är att, inom skolämnet SO, undersöka huruvida bearbetade lärobokstexter kan underlätta läsförståelsen hos elever i år 9.För att uppnå vårt syfte har vi, i vår undersökning, använt oss av flera forskningsmetoder. Vi har gjort en s.k. triangulering bestående dels av en kvantitativ upprepad mätning och dels en kvalitativ hermeneutisk metod med enkätfrågor. Vårt urval har bestått av 6 elever i år 9 från en 6-9 skola. De deltagande eleverna har ej uppnått godkänd nivå gällande läsförståelse i Nationellt prov i svenska för år 9.Resultatet pekar på att skolans faktatexter kan göras mer tillgängliga för eleverna om texterna bearbetas med olika språkliga faktorer, såsom t.ex.

Earlier research has shown the difficulty of defining insulting behaviour in the workplace. It has been noted that the individual and subjective definition is connected to the specific situation in which the potentially insulting incidence occurred. In this study we designed a quantitative questionnaire in order to hopefully elucidate the comprehension of insulting behaviour and furthermore enable a more in-depth investigation on how important the contextual meaning is. This study examined 140 (n=140) working adult?s attitudes towards insulting behaviour in the workplace and the importance of the contextual variables.
Portrayal of animal communication in wildlife documentary
Many people turn to documentaries for knowledge about animals, but do documentaries give us a truthful portrayal of animals and their behavior? This study looks at how the communication behavior of the portrayed animals is depicted in three episodes of The Life of Mammals. These episodes were observed after which the contents were compared to scientific literature on the same topics. The results show that quite little communication is actually shown in the episodes about plant predators and meat eaters and relatively much of it is shown in the episode named Social Climbers, involving primates. The matching literature suggests that based on the narrative and the accompanying footage, the viewer is getting a realistic picture, with the exception of a few questionable cases..
Att utvecklas inom sitt yrke : Om den högre utbildningens inverkan på den erfarna pedagogen
This work is based on qualitative interviews with four educationists who before their university studies lack education in their own field of work. The study aims to explore how higher learning influenced and affected these people. As a theoretical point of view the concept of implicit learning and Aristotle?s epistemological approach was used. The study gives an idea that the concept of knowledge is advanced and can go from practical experience to more theoretical understandings.
Kritik av humanismen som grund till värden i svensk skola med perspektiv från Nietzsche & Kant : En narrativ ideologianalys av läroplanens värdegrund och de oförytterliga värdenas genealogi
This thesis in Educational Sciences consists of a narrative ideology-analysis of the Swedish school's fundamental values with perspectives from the philosophy of Nietzsche and Kant, which also analyzed the same way, with the aim to trace and problematize the ideological foundations of "our society's shared values" that teachers should convey to the students. Based on a theory that a humanism crisis occurs when important values are perceived as threatened, does the introduction of the basic values of the curriculum appear as a response tosocietal changes. Nietzsche and Kant represent completely different idea currents that both have been reflected in the curriculum in which basic values have different meanings. Nietzsche has inspired social criticism, postcolonial and postmodern thinkers to a critical constructivist approach that is an asset in the multicultural classroom to deconstruct stereotypes and prejudices. That culture, ethnicity, morality and religion do not have an objective essence, but seen as social constructions, using a critical approach is a way of thinking which was developed with inspiration from Nietzsche.
