The purpose of this essay is to investigate how the crisis communication was perceived between SAS, massmedia and citizens during the volcano crisis in 2010. The questions posed are: - How did the communication between SAS, media and citizens function during the crisis? - How did senders, intermediaries and beneficiaries experience the information and communication during the crisis? - How important was the internet communication for SAS, media and citizens during the crisis?The collected material consists of interviews and desktop research of material from Internet.The study shows that the communication between SAS, the media and citizens worked well on the social medias but was weaker in all other mediachannels. SAS was also weak in following up information received by media and travelers, and they therefore they had a different picture of the situation during the crisis. SAS thought that the communication worked fine between the parties involved.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkar idrottslärares motivation i arbetet samt hur de ser på motivation i arbetslivet. Vi har utgått ifrån fyra frågeställningar som handlar om vilken uppfattning idrottslärare har kring motivation, vad motivation innebär för idrottslärare i arbetet, vilka hinder det finns för idrottslärares motivation samt hur idrottslärare ser på att upprätthålla sin motivation. Vi valde att göra en kvalitativ undersökning i form av intervjuer där vi intervjuade fem olika idrottslärare som arbetar på högstadiet. Idrottslärarna är mellan 30-65 år gamla med olika lång arbetserfarenhet.Vårt resultat visar att idrottslärare definierar begreppet motivation som en inre drivkraft och något som de brinner för. Idrottslärarna ser motivation som ett positivt begrepp.

Varför människor väljer att träna i grupp eller träna själv är en individuell fråga.  Det finns olika motivationsfaktorer till vad det är som påverkar människor att delta i gruppträning. Det här arbetet undersöker de psykiska, fysiska och sociala faktorers påverkan till motivation inom gruppträning. Syftet med studien är att undersöka gymmedlemmars motivation till gruppträning.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att ge en bild av hur motivationen ser ut på Veidekkes projektet Pelarbacken och att skapa en förståelse för de anställda samt vad som gör dem motiverade till att vilja utföra ett bra arbete. För att illustrera hur de anställda upplever att de motiveras har utgångspunkten varit inre- och yttre motivation, belöningssystem samt motivation genom uppsättning av mål. Studien baseras på enkätsvar från sju av de anställda på projektet samt intervjuer med fyra av de anställda. Studien visar att vad som motiverar de anställda är väldigt individuellt då svaren i enkäterna var spridda. Det finns några faktorer som de anställda till största del var överrens om motiverade dem, dessa faktorer är positiv feedback, omväxlande arbetsuppgifter och utmaningar.

The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to investigate how working librariansmanage controversial media. It builds on three debates in the media about libraries and booksthat have taken place during the years of 2012 and 2013. The questiones asked were: How dolibrarians manage racist media? How do librarians manage media that instructs on how tocommit crimes? How do librarians manage sexually explicit media? And lastly, how dolibrarians manage pressure from outside of the library? The theoretical framework consists ofRobert Hauptmans division of the two kinds of ethical strands of librarianship, in this thesiscalled ?Free information? and ?Information responsibly?. The method used to collectempirical material was qualitative interviews.

Syftet med vårt examensarbete var att undersöka om elevens egen uppfattning om deras motivation för matematikämnet förändras genom att införa fler problemlösningsuppgifter i undervisningen. Undersökningen genomfördes under vår praktik som var sju veckor i en grupp på 17 elever i årskurs 9. Vi införde en problemlösningsuppgift som inledning på tio matematiklektioner. Vi använde oss av enkät vid två olika tillfällen för att se om elevernas uppfattning om deras motivation förändrats. Resultatet visade att problemlösningsuppgifterna gjorde matematikämnet roligare.

Motivation är en betydelsefull kompontent för en individs utövande utav studier. Studien utgick ifrån motivationsteorin Self- determination theory. Following study is about motivation from a student perspective. Based on the prescribed literature and published research, the concept and field of motivation have been illuminated. The purpose of the study was to examine how students in ninth grade perceived their educational motivation and what kind importance they considered it had for their performance in school. The study is also supposed to base upon the result; clarify the differences if any between schools. In an attempt to get a clear image of this a quantitative method in the form of surveys was made on two schools in the Stockholm region. One of the schools had a really good merit value, and the other had a rather poor merit- value. By choosing a quantitative method a relatively large number of students where able to participate and equally large quantity of statistics have been presented. The result point at motivation in the participating students in both schools can increase and decrease through different factors.

Our main focus was the crime reporters? use of the medium Flashback, and attitude towards their own use of media ethics in relation to the medium Flashback.Flashback as a medium is not obliged to any media ethics and lacks a legally accountable publisher. In the search for information about committed crimes people tends to visit Flashback for the information that the traditional media cannot offer.
