The problems with train-induced vibrations are increasing with heavier and faster trains. Therefore the work with propagating vibrations is of outmost importance, and that is what this thesis relates to.To get a sensible idea of the propagation, calculation models are often used. Propagation calculation models takes into account factors such as distance to the railway, the ground material and the velocity and weight of the train. This work is mainly about finding suitable existing models and, if necessary, adjust them to be more useful with modern trains and railways.The report contains the work of adjusting one such model and does, despite the fully functional adjusted model, describe how much more there can be done within this topic. Finally, a few tips about specific areas that preferably should be studied to get even further knowledge about the troublesome problems from railways..

Slutsats: Av allt att döma finns de skandinavistiska tankarna även hos icke-eliten. Främst hos det bildade borgerskapet av handlare, hantverksmästare och tjänstemän. Bland lägre borgerskap och stadsbor, som gesäller och arbetare samt landsbygdsbefolkning, kan det inte dras några slutsatser över exakt hur stark och utbredd de skandinavistiska idéerna är men idéerna och sympatier finns där, om än inte lika utbrett som hos de mer bildade..

Därigenom vill vi specificera vad som utmärker en typisk modern resekund av idag.Metod: Vi har valt att använda researrangören Sembo som vårt fallföretag. I vår undersökning har vi antagit ett abduktivt perspektiv, där vi kombinerat två kvalitativa metoder i djupintervjuer och frågeformulär utskickade via e-mail.Teori: Vi har valt att först behandla teorier utifrån ett bransch- och aktörsperspektiv för att sedan behandla resekundens informationssöknings och bokningsbeteende.Slutsatser: Vi har kommit fram till att en typisk modern resekund vill ha kontroll över sin informationssökning och bokning samtidigt som den sociala omgivningen spelar en stor roll som informationskälla. Många kunder anpassar sig till dagens självbetjänande förutsättningar och skapar en relation till dem, samtidigt som det alltid kommer att finnas människor som inte gör det utan föredrar kontakt med en yrkesperson.

The purpose of this master thesis was to explore and develop prototypes for visualization of trade statistics in a market surveilance application. In such an anapplication a large amount of information is processed. This information is then summarized and presented to the market surveillance staff. The practical part of this thesis was done at Scila AB in Stockholm. Three prototypes were developed based on modern visualization methods.

The objective with this essay was to compare the modern epistolary novel Priority by danish author Iselin C. Hermann with the epistolary genre during its heyday in late seventeenth to early nineteenth century. I especially looked at gender: the similarities and differences between the female character in Priority and the female characters during the epistolary novels days of glory. I concluded that Priority has the same structure, characteristics as the heyday epistolary novel and that the female character does not have any typical similarities with its stereotypical female characters. In addition I also came to the conclusion that she is reminiscent to their original model Héloïse and follows the epistolary novels heyday convention when she dies at the end of the novel..

This study evaluates the internal communication of a medium sized company by holding semistructured interviews with the employees. The goal of the interviews was to develop a requirement specification. The term maneuver warfare is frequently used in western defense doctrines and theoreticaltextbooks. The ambition of the Swedish armed forces is to attempt maneuver warfare in allappropriate situations. Theories and doctrines indicate the importance of decentralized command and control systems. Mission command (Auftragstaktik) is one such system and should be applied to all situations of the Swedish Armed Forces. There are theoretical and doctrinal bases for warfare and command, but in practice, what are the preconditions for this? Previous research addresses many theoretical questions but there are flaws in existing studies investigating practical realities.The purpose of this study has been to reach a deeper understanding of armed forces ability to maneuver warfare by analyzing conformity of command and leadership perspectives in practice.This is an interview-based qualitative case study in which respondent´s statements were analyzed and interpreted in relation to a theoretical framework.

Organisationer är beroende av ledare och medarbetare. I yrken som berör andra människor har kommunikation och bemötande stor betydelse och kräver vissa egenskaper hos personalen. Där möten med andra sker uppstår ibland konflikter. Studien omfattar både en kvalitativ och en kvantitativ del. Syftet med studien var att studera ledare och medarbetares upplevelse och hantering samt konsekvenser som kan uppstå i samband med konflikter.  En intervjustudie med tre ledare och en enkätstudie med 59 medarbetare genomfördes i tre organisationer som har sin verksamhet inom LSS.
