Den här studien beskriver skillnader i handläggningen av landsbygds-programmets projektstöd på två av Sveriges länsstyrelser. Förvaltningarna representeras av Kalmar län som delat ut relativt lite projektstöd och Gävleborg som delat ut betydligt fler projektstöd. Utifrån handläggarrollen presenteras skillnader i handläggningen av projektstöd inom axel 3 i landsbygdsprogrammet 2007-2013. Utifrån två teoretiska perspektiv har skillnader i rollen som handläggare men också förvaltningarnas övergripande organisationskulturer belysts. Jag har beskrivit skillnader i handläggarrollen med hjälp av Michael Lipskys teori kring gräsrotsbyråkrater som klient- eller regelorienterade. Jag har också visat att det råder olika organisationskulturer på länsstyrelserna som en konflikt mellan livsvärld och system med hänvisning till Jürgen Habermas..

Enligt information från Vägverket har upphandlingar av anläggningsentreprenader ofta få anbudsgivare, samtidigt som det ofta förekommer stora spridningar i anbudspriser. Vägverket ser även en ökad koncentration till de stora bygg- och anläggningsföretagen. För Vägverket som är en stor beställare inom anläggningsbranschen är det önskvärt att konkurrensen stimuleras, och att ett omvandlingstryck främjas på marknaden där mindre företag har möjligheten att växa, och där nya företag har möjligheten att etablera sig och konkurrera med de befintliga företagen inom branschen. Det finns därmed ett behov av en ökad förståelse för vilka faktorer som driver på den grundläggande strukturen inom anläggningsbranschen, och vilka faktorer som eventuellt påverkar anbudskonkurrensen i Vägverkets upphandlingar av entreprenader. Syftet med denna studie är därför att med en lämplig metod utföra en konkurrensanalys inom anläggningsbranschen.

During the autumn of 2010 a group of parents met together with two therapist at Mini Maria Hisingen. These parents did have children who had experience of using drugs. This study purpose´s to describe, analyze and understand what has been effective in the work together with this group of parents.The interrogative sentence is; Did we use a narrative approach and what impact did this approach had on the groupprocess? What did the group sessions contribute to the parents and would they recommend other parents to participate in similar sessions? All the sessions were recorded in video. The work was highly inspired by Michael White and his book Maps (2007).

The aim of this essay is to investigate to which extent the novel Kvinnor och äppelträd by Moa Martinson can be classified as a polyphonic novel. The concept polyphony was established in literary theory by the Russian language theorist and literary critic Michail Bachtin in 1929, in his book Problems of Dostoevsky?s poetics. In order to understand and comprehend the concept of polyphony I have used an interpretation due to the literature scholar Robyn McCallum. She notes that the characters in a polyphonic novel function as focalizers.

Vårt syfte är att visa på de normer rörande adoptivföräldraskap som finns i Statens nämnd för internationella adoptionsfrågors (NIAs) handböcker och tidskrift NIA informerar. Utifrån queerteorins principer om exkludering och inkludering och forskarens Michael Lipskys teori om närbyråkrater har vi vaskat fram hur normen för adoptivföräldraskapet konstrueras utifrån det biologiska föräldraskapet som ideal.Barnets bästa är den princip som det genomgående hänvisas till i materialet för att motivera kärnfamiljen som norm. Syftet med föreliggande studie är att utifrån ett socialpsykologiskt perspektiv erhålla djupareförståelse och ökad kunskap kring de processer som finns i smågrupper, hur konflikterpåverkar sammanhållningen och vad det är som gör att en stabil grupp förblir stabil. Studienutgick från ett kvalitativt förhållningssätt med en hermeneutisk ansats. Med ensemistrukturerad intervjuguide utgjordes urvalet av två grupper med fem medlemmar irespektive grupp där hälften är män och hälften kvinnor. Resultatet visar att konflikter inomvänskapsgrupper inte är av ondo och kan vara utvecklande för både gruppen och den enskildeindividen. Den starka sammanhållning grupperna har visar på att konflikter inte är en storfaktor för gruppens välmående.

The Russian operation on the Crimean peninsula has been referred to as a victory enabled by the operationalization of the concept of New Generation Warfare. According to some military theorists, this concept and its operationalization cannot be characterized in terms of the traditional wars waged up to this point. Detta examensarbete behandlar begreppet inlärningsstilar. Uppsatsen är en litteraturstudie där fyra forskare står i centrum: Rita Dunn, Michael Grinder, Eric Jensen samt Barbara Prashnig. Alla dessa fyra forskare har intressanta tankaromkring ämnet inlärningsstilar. Jag har valt att itta lite närmare på hur dessa fyra forskare förhåller sig till begreppen inlärning, inlärningsstilar samt inlärningssvårigheter. Syftet med uppsatsen är att öka min förståelse för hur elever lär sig.

The aim of the study was, through qualitative interviews with school counsellors in Swedish primary schools, to study what the counsellors are experiencing condition their ability to work proactively according to the Swedish Education Act provisions on student health. During the study, six interviews with school counsellors who worked in the same suburbs, was conducted. The theoretical approach that was used is Michael Lipsky's theory of street-level bureaucrats and the term discretion. The overall outcome of the study was that the interviewed school counsellors felt that they did not have good opportunities to work preventively as the Education Act requires. The main reason for this was the school counsellor?s heavy workload.

The aim of this study is to illuminate social worker?s perception of social class within the Swedish social service system. This study therefor examine if social class contributes to the production and reproduction of the client and what impact social class has on the interaction between client and social workers. The study was conducted with qualitative semi-structured interviews with social workers from three different departments of social service. The theoretical approach is Yeheskel Hasenfeld?s theory about moral practices in welfare organisations, Michael Lipsky and Roine Johansson?s theories about client construction and Pierre Bourdieu?s class theory.

The aim of this study was trough qualitative interviews with teachers and counsellors in Swedish schools, to study their experiences and perceptions of non suicidal self-injury (NSSI) in adolescents. During the study three teachers and three counsellors who worked in four different schools were conducted. The theoretical approach that was used is Michael Polanyis theory tacit knowledge. The outcome of the study was that schools did not seem to talk about NSSI as a problem and the teachers knowledge about it had come from own experiences meeting adolescents whit NSSI. The interviewed teachers and counsellors felt it hard to define NSSI, they mainly referred it to someone who cut themselves.

The study consist of an investigation regarding the implementation of reassurance policing in Sweden and include a survey conducted among some of the local police offices in Stockholm County. The aim of the study is to investigate how the police officers working in the local polices offices experience the implementation of the local police offices and if the implementation of local the polices offices matches the police authority´s purpose with the project. The study uses the theoretical framework from political scientist Michael Lipsky calledStreet-level bureaucracy - Dilemmas of the individual in Public services which discuss the role of street-level bureaucrats and their influence in the implementation. Included in the study is also two different perspectives on governing in public sector called top-down perspective and bottom-up perspective. The findings of this paper shows that the police officers are in general positive towards the implementation and that there´s a duality among the police officers regarding the proximity to the citizens..

The purpose of this essay is to analyze the media coverage of the case with Martin Schibbye and Johan Persson in the four biggest newspapers in Sweden in order to see how social constructions is created through the use of language. It is also of interest to see how nationality is represented in the material. The theory is based on Edward Said?s theory of post colonialism and the prejudices that has developed from the western way of viewing ?The orient?. It is also based on Richard Dyers theory on whiteness and binary oppositions, which shows how ?whiteness? is viewed as the norm and is also never questioned.The method is critical linguistics and based on Norman Fairclough and Michael Halliday.
