Bakgrund: Psykisk ohälsa är ett utbrett problem i samhället, och det har visat sig att personer med psykisk ohälsa löper större risk att drabbas av somatisk ohälsa än övriga individer. Den ökade risken för samsjuklighet innebär att dessa personer med multipla behov kommer vårdas inom den somatiska vården och således något som allmänsjuksköterskor möter i sitt arbete. Sjuksköterskor inom somatisk vård behöver därför vara förberedda att vårda patienter med samtidig somatisk och psykisk ohälsa. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva sjuksköterskors attityder till patienter med psykisk ohälsa som vårdas inom somatisk vård. Metod: Litteraturöversikt baserad på tio vetenskapliga originalartiklar, tre kvantitativa och sju kvalitativa.

The purpose of this paper consists of examining the different ways of thinking about death and life beyond death conveyed in the game Grim Fandango Remastered. This was done by using a theoretical framework consisting of a self invented definition of death called "Bodily death". This definition consists of common notions about death such as cessation of life functions like movement, metabolism, respiration and overall cessation of brain functions. It also included cessation of vital processes, which includes the ability to make energy transfer, making reparations, for example by cell replication, as well as the waste system of the body.  Besides this, the study examines the prevalence of dualism, a conception that views the soul essential to the individual's Mental state. Two kinds of dualism were investigated, simple dualism with the assumption that the individual is made up of the soul, and compound dualism, where soul and body are dependent on each other for the survival of the individual.

I have studied the suburban municipality of Botkyrka, south of Stockholm, from a rural perspective. Through that I`ve compared how countryside comes into being with the planning and building of suburbs. I have looked for a definition of Countryside, and found that it is often explained or defined in negative terms, as what it is not. In that it says nothing about what it really is, or about the qualitiies it has to it. Botkyrka is a suburb, but it does in large parts consist of countryside. Apart from defining countryside and rural I´ve been searching for a definition of suburbia, of it´s structure and the Mental picture we have of it as a cultural phenomena. In order to understand the role that suburbs have in planning I describe their history from Italian renaissance villas to sprawl. By opposing urban and rural, modern urban planning and how rural areas are created, I´ve come to a definition of rural planning and the making of countryside. To make countryside, planning and building should come from individual needs and desires. A relationship to the surroundings based on continous interaction between the human beeing and it´s environment, a constant process of shaping and reshaping. To put my thoughts to the ground I have collected examples of projects and ideas, that fits into my view of what rural planning and making countryside is all about. They are put in different categories according to the possibilities of influence and to what degree it is put into private hands. The first category is ?allemansrätten?, every mans right. That is the rigt to use private land as long as you don´t disturb or destroy.

Title: Experiences of physical activity in a flat country Regular physical activity provides many chronic diseases and is an important contributor to health promotion. According to Swedish goals for public health, community planning ought to provide opportunities for exercise in all groups of the population and exercise in daily life should be uncomplicated, even in rural areas. The purpose of this study was to explore how individuals living in a flat country experienced their opportunities for exercise on a regular basis. Four semi-structured interviews were carried out with a phenomenological approach and for the analysis a phenomenological-hermeneutic method was used, resulting in two main themes and nine sub themes. The first main theme ?The reciprocal relation between physical activity and the landscape? showed that the informants experienced that they had good opportunities in the landscape for physical activity, it was easy to exercise on a regular basis, provided there was motivation.

SAMMANFATTNINGDet finns stora skillnader i hälsa mellan olika grupper i samhället gällande bemötande och den vård som erbjuds. Personer med psykiatriska sjukdomar har ökad ohälsa och kortare livslängd. Det har också visat sig att denna grupp ofta får sämre somatisk vård och inte tillgång till rekommenderade läkemedel i samma omfattning som andra patienter. Detta beror på att vården, liksom samhället i stort, fungerar inom en ram av diskriminerande strukturer som skapas av dominerande attityder och värderingar i samhället. Det är därför viktigt att belysa svenska sjuksköterskors attityder till psykisk ohälsa.Syfte: Att undersöka sjuksköterskors attityder till psykisk ohälsa inom den somatiska vården.Metod: Kvantitativ studiedesign, datainsamling via webbenkät med egenkonstruerade påstående, inspirerade av enkäten MICA (Mental Illness: Clinicians? Attitudes Scale).

The horse's motivations to forage and eat are behaviors that horse owners should take into consideration when designing the horse's living environment. In today?s housing of horses, horses are often kept alone in boxes and paddocks and are fed with small amounts of energy-rich roughage. Problems that can arise with a shortened feeding-time and long periods of fasting are behavioral changes like stereotypic behaviors and an increased risk for ulcers. A solution to the short feeding-time is that you are feeding roughage in a small mesh hay net, or a so-called Slow-feed net.

BAKGRUND: Autism ingår i begreppet autismspektrumstörning och kan innebära Mentala, sensoriska och sociala nedsättningar. Det kan även innebära ett begränsat ätbeteende, enformigt kostintag samt gastrointestinala problem. Att tillämpa elimineringskost och utesluta gluten samt mjölk kan ge symptomlindring. Dock är studier inte entydiga om behandlingen ger effekt. Vid elimineringskost kan närings- och energibrist uppstå.SYFTE: Syftet med studien var att undersöka föräldrarnas upplevelser av en gluten- och mjölkfri diet som behandlingsform för barn med autism.METOD: Kvalitativa intervjuer baserade på en semistrukturerad frågeguide har genomförts.

The horses have been in the care of humans for about 5000-7000 years. But even though the horses have been domesticated and artificial selected for such a long time their natural behaviours and instincts still remains. In the rich countries there are many people who have the opportunity to ride either on their own horses or at riding schools. Many of these people have not grown up on farms and have no experience of handling big animals. This can lead to implications of the horses? welfare.

Kreativa aktiviteter har använts genom arbetsterapins historia och påvisat positiva effekter på hälsa och välbefinnande. Utövandet av en självvald meningsfull kreativ aktivitet kan bland annat leda till ökat självförtroende, förbättrad eller utvecklad förmåga att lösa problem och skapa balans och harmoni i livet. Syftet med denna studie var att genom en litteraturstudie beskriva betydelsen av kreativa aktiviteter som intervention inom arbetsterapi. För att besvara syftet genomförde författarna en litteraturstudie för att få en fördjupad kunskap samt beskriva befintlig kunskap inom det valda området. Författarna samlade in datamaterial via utvalda databaser och lämpliga sökord.

Bakgrund: Antalet människor med psykisk ohälsa har på senare år ökat. Dessa påträffas inom vårdens olika instanser och vårdare har stor sannolikhet att möta någon drabbad oavsett arbetsplats. Studier visar att vårdare har en "negativ attityd" till att vårda patienter med psykisk ohälsa och känner sig oförberedda inför patienternas behov. Det behövs mer kunskap om hur mötet mellan vårdare och patient upplevs ur ett patientperspektiv. Syfte: Att beskriva hur patienter med psykisk ohälsa upplever mötet med vårdare i hälso- och sjukvården.

This thesis concerns the Gotlandic hill-forts (sw. fornborg) situated on a cliff or in an elevated position and which traditionally have been referred to as cliff-forts (sw. klintborg/höjdborg). The study derives from the notion that these monuments, diverse in size and shape, by archaeologists have been viewed and treated as a homogeneous category of ancient remains. The author?s key aim is to challenge this perception by identifying various subcategories from the 28 cliff-forts on the island.Ever since the archaeological discipline initiated the study of cliff-forts in the late 1800s and more or less to present day, the interpretations have been almost solely dominated by explanations of the military and defendable nature of them.

This two years master's thesis in Library and Information science, examines how the implementation of new technical equipment can affect how staff in public libraries organize their work and activities in the library. One Swedish public library in specific is the subject of research in this thesis, which has been anonymized as Kvarntuna city library. The study takes place in the beginning of the implementation of RFID-technology in the library. RFID, which stands for Radio Frequency Identification, is supposed to make the handling with different types of media in the library more efficient and in connection with the implementation one wants to reorganize work and activities in the library to make it even more efficient and also create a modern library.The thesis' method is qualitative interviews with six members of the staff. The theoretical framework of the thesis is a sociocultural perspective, especially inspiered by Roger Säljö, a Swedish professor in pedagogical psychology.

Den psykiska hälsan har stor betydelse för vårt välmående och ur folkhälsoperspektiv är det viktigt att plocka fram friskfaktorer som bidrar till ökad livskvalitet. ADHD, som är ett neuropsykiatriskt funktionshinder med svårigheter att reglera sitt beteende, är inget okänt fenomen och det är många som lever med det. Tidiga stödinsatser hjälper dessa individer till ett väl fungerande liv utan samsjuklighet, utanförskap, missbruk eller kriminalitet. Syftet med studien är att få en uppfattning om hur det är att leva med en ADHD- diagnos, vilka strategier som de utformat för att behålla hälsan. Detta undersöktes genom en kvalitativ studie med en semistrukturerad intervju.

Pigs are often mentioned as relatively intelligent animals when compared to other nonhuman species. Despite this knowledge, the vast majority of pigs are kept under conditions that lack opportunities to satisfy their cognitive needs. Therefore, a need to evaluate the present scientific studies about pig cognition was acknowledged, in order to evaluate to what extent the knowledge is applied in the husbandry of finishing pigs. If a considerable lack of application was determined, suggestions about how to use the obtained information to improve pig welfare were also to be made. A synthesis of the present literature was made, and it could be concluded that a considerable amount of studies had been carried out in the present area. The pigs of today appear to have the same behavioural and cognitive needs as their ancestor, the wild boar.

Den fysiska aktiviteten i västvärlden har minskat under de senaste decennierna. Vi tillbringar mer tid inomhus framför TV, dator eller något annat medialt redskap. En av de främsta anledningarna till att vi blivit mer fysiskt inaktiva på senare tid tros vara att forskningen hela tiden går framåt, där vi uppfinner hjälpmedel som gör att vi rör på oss så lite som möjligt. Forskning visar att det finns indirekta bevis på att fysisk aktivitet är en positiv hälsofaktor som minskar risken för sjukdomar. Fysisk aktivitet har visat sig ha ett samband med högre nivåer av personligt välbefinnande, så som bättre humör, mer tillfredställelse med livet och högre livskvalitet.
