In 2010 there will be a political resolution to ensure that the Swedish society is accessible to all citizens including people with disabilities. For this purpose a national action plan for disability policy "From patient to citizen" (Govt. Bill 1999/2000:79) has been set out with the aim of ensuring that the disability perspective will permeate every sector of society and that the approach and response to people with disabilities will be improved. The Swedish National Council for Cultural Affairs is responsible for implementing the disability policy in the cultural sector.Since public libraries in Sweden are a part of the public cultural sector, they will also be affected by the political resolution regarding accessibility. The concept underpinning library services for disabled people must be that of equality of access.

Abstract The core is the center of gravity in our body. Injuries and overload in the joints, is the most common reason for not be able to work in Sweden today. A god strength capacity in the core is important for secure and effective movements, as well for active athletes, as for non athletes. The increased number of employees, who report in sick today, has been correlated with psychological bad health. New methods to deal with mental and physical health problems among people can indicate to the fact that Yoga in the western world has increased its members, due its spiritual and physical recognition in favor of well being.

Introduktion: Stroke är en folksjukdom som årligen drabbar cirka 30.000 svenskar. Det primära symtomet är muskulär svaghet som kan innebära paralys/pares och 70-90% av de drabbade får nedsatt motorisk funktion. Mental träning innebär att för sitt inre visualisera en rörelse utan ett motoriskt genomförande. Metoden har visat sig ge neuroplastiska förändringar samt ökad EEG- aktivitet i hjärnan. Studier har visat att visualisering, observation och exekution av rörelser aktiverar samma motoriska områden i hjärnan.

Being a trustee within the disability care will, in most cases, put big responsibility on the trustee both as a representative for the klient but also as a representative for the standards of the society. The assignment as a trustee is to strengthen the client and ease his/her way of living in the society. The Swedish legislation that controls the process and the regulation of the trustees, is by the authors of this paper preceived as kind of vauge, leaving a lot of room for interpretation. So  how do trustees comprehend their assignment and how do they actually interpret it? Using material from eight interviews with trustees within the disability care, this paper aims to examine these questions, and focuses only on the trustees and their experiences.

Treatment is both about the actual encounter and how individuals interact as well as the behaviour among the counterparts. Previous research shows that a person?s experience of how he/she is being treated is formed by conditions created by external factors, in literature known as the general view on treatment. The purpose of the study is to show how people with a physical disability experience the treatment from their Social Security Agency administrators. We have compared the empirical material with theories on treatment and power and analysed how this affect the interaction between the administrator and the disabled person.

Background: There has been a process of de-institutionalisation and mental health care re-forms in Sweden. Social services are, according to the law, responsible for helping persons with mental illness to live a life like others and to participate in the community. The aim of the study was to describe the culture in one of the social services adult day care center for social relations and activities in Stockholm. The aim was also to focus on the importance of the adult day care center for recovery and empowerment from the participants´ perspective. Methods Observations in the adult day care center were combined with four interviews with regular participants.

Studiens syfte var att undersöka möjligheten till att ta kontroll över min nervositet och atteffektivisera min instudering av Intrada av Arthur Honegger.Bakgrunden är att jag alltid har varit intresserad av att lära mig nya saker och vad jag har velat meddetta arbete är att utveckla min kompetens som trumpetare och det har jag gjort genom mentalträning. Samtidigt som jag har utnyttjat mental träning för att bli mer mottaglig för inlärning så harjag tränat mig i att hantera nervositet. Allt detta har jag gjort för att bli en bättre trumpetare.Min metod har varit att jag läst litteratur om minnesträning, mental förberedelse och ens egeninställning till att utvecklas inom ett område. Jag har sedan använt mig av övningar som jag hittat iböckerna, antingen som de är eller så har jag ändrat på dem för att passa mig och mitt syfte bättre.Arbetets konstnärliga del presenterades i form av en inspelning där jag spelar Intrada utanackompanjemang och jag valde att göra inspelningen utan ackompanjatör för att visa på hur minvardagliga övningssituation såg ut. Det ger dessutom en väldigt naken bild av hur jag spelat och detär lätt för åhöraren att höra vad som har fungerat bra och vad som jag inte har lyckats med.

The study took place outside of Oskarshamn, Sweden. The study focused on if, and in that case how, Nymålen contributes to recovery from mental illness. We were also interested in which factors affecting the recovery-process, as expressed by the participants themselves.Method: Eight individuals from Nymålen participated in individually performed semi- structured interviews. The collected data was then coded and categorized to enable further analysis by using Qualitative content analysis inspired by Graneheim & Lundman (2003).

Arbetets syfte var att utreda reliabilitet och validitet för en blickregistreringsutrustning, JAZZ?, som finns på FOI i Linköping. Dessutom skulle utredningen klargöra huruvida utrustningen kan användas till att detektera mental arbetsbelastning. Tre olika studier gjordes på 17 försökspersoner. Endast sackader i horisontalled studerades, trots att utrustningen har ett flertal andra mätområden.

The purpose with this essay is to examine if the Swedish government?s intentions regarding to the mental health care reform, have been fulfilled. We have classified the intentions into three categories, regulation, financing and responsibility for organizing the policy. The intentions have then been compared with the results of the reform.Our theoretical framework starts with a model, developed by Evert Vedung (1998). We use this model as a tool to examine the fulfillment of the mental health care reform.

Statistik visar att så mycket som 20 procent av alla trafikolyckor involverar någon form av förardistraktion. Samtidigt finns det ingenting som indikerar att sekundäruppgiftsutförande under bilkörning minskar. För att få ökad förståelse för förares beteende genomfördes detta examensarbete med syfte att studera förhållandet mellan upplevd mental belastning och faktisk påverkan på körprestationen vid utförande av sekundäruppgift under bilkörning. För att besvara syftet genomfördes en litteraturstudie. Analysen av inkluderade artiklar och deras respektive sekundäruppgifter baserades på Multiple Resource Theory.

Syftet med denna studie är att utifrån sociokulturellt perspektiv, utforska hur tre musikpedagoger beskriver att de använder sig av mentala träningsmetoder i sin undervisning. Vilka mentala träningsmetoder beskriver tre musikpedagoger att de använder sig av i sin undervisning? På vilka sätt beskrivs dessa metoder komma till användning?Studiens data har samlats in genom kvalitativa intervjuer med tre yrkesverksamma musikpedagoger som använder sig av mental träning på varierade sätt i sin pedagogiska verksamhet. I resultatet framkommer att ju mer utbildning i mental träning musikpedagogerna har, desto tydligare och mer uttalad strategi beskriver de. De beskrivna strategierna betraktas som generaliserbara lärandehjälpmedel som utgår från en grundidé.

Psykometriska egenskaper presenteras från en nyöversatt självskattningsskala för funktionsnedsättning vid social fobi. Liebowitz Self-Rated Disability Scale (LSRDS) avser att undersöka hur ångestproblem kopplade till olika funktionsområden hindrat normal funktion dels de senaste två veckorna och dels när det varit som värst i livet. LSRDS har acceptabel test-retest reliabilitet och god intern konsistens. Den diskriminativa valideten i LSRDS är god i jämförelse mellan normalgrupp och klinisk grupp. I samband med en kognitiv beteendeterapeutisk behandling av åtta individer med social fobi har skalan provats och förefaller fånga förändringar i funktionsförmåga.

Aim and questionsThe aim of our study was to increase knowledge about successful school managers' views on teachers' mental health and their own work regarding this subject.In what ways do the school manager work preventive with measures on teachers' mental health? How does leadership affects teachers' mental health? What factors create mental health among teachers? MethodIn order to answer the questions, we have chosen to use semi-structured interviews. To get in touch with schools that have been successful with their work with the teacher's mental health, we have made a targeted step wise sample where we contacted the primary managers of six randomly selected municipalities in Stockholms län. In total six school managers have been interviewed. The empiric data were thematized and analyzed based on the demand-control-support model. ResultsAll the interviewed school managers agreed to that the concept of mental health is about feeling good, about balance in life and to feel safe.
