Abstract The aim of this paper is to investigate whether Vara municipality has a continuous picture of their identity, profile and image. Globalization has contributed to the increasingly growing of place marketing. Therefore, the study goes on to using the concepts of identity, profile and image to find out if Vara Municipality communicates similar throughout the whole organization and find out their all through core values. Globalisation will be an interpretive framework for the work that describes why the place marketing is becoming more pressing. The sense of place will be a central part of this study as it is the feelings and images of different places that will be described by the municipality together with the identity, profile and image.
Intranät som verktyg för organisationskommunikation: En fallstudie på Nordea
The aim of this Master Thesis is to examine how the national intranet at Nordea serves the organisation as a channel of information and communication. The intranets of today, have partially or completely come to replace other channels of information within larger organisations, and the intranet has become an increasingly important issue to the communicational process of organisations. To address the problem stated, qualitative interviews was accomplished with several employees at a department at Nordea. The achieved result reflects how the intranet supports variable everyday end-user situations. The result shows an intranet that is sparsely used in comparison to other channels of communication such as colleagues.
Brand Brazil : En studie om brand equity på en emerging market
Title: Brand Brazil ? Theoretical framework: The chapter begins with a description of brand equity to be further decomposed to its four dimensions; brand awareness, brand associations, perceived quality, brand loyalty Methodology: A qualitative research method with a deductive approach is conducted, where interviews with Brand/Marketing coordinators for the Brazilian subsidiaries of Volkswagen, Toyota and General Motors, are performed. Teenagers are the group that spends most money on clothing. When choosing clothes, the so called internal and external signals could affect the perceived quality of the teenagers. The external signals are for example price, brand and place of purchase while the internal signals are the physical composition of the product as for example garment and size. The perceived quality is the attributes that the teenagers perceive that the specific article of clothing has. Today?s marketing, within the fashion line, is mostly to present the design of the product and aim the marketing for curtain segments and to keep a distance to others that are not within the segment group.

This Master thesis studies how a diversified institutional care organisation can optimise its collective knowledge resources so to manage and distribute this knowledge to different parts of the organisation with help of the organisations intranet. The purpose of the study is to examine if knowledge management and the organisations intranet can be used to create, store, transfer and better use the knowledge within the organisation. Through a case study the thesis will look at different knowledge processes and their relation to the organisations intranet. The case study includes a questionnaire for the whole organisation and qualitative interviews with seven persons from different levels of the organisation. The theoretical framework of the study approaches knowledge management and intranet through four knowledge processes.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att skapa ett teoretiskt kunskapsbidrag där vi identifierar och kartlägger hur de olika litteraturområdena sammanfaller och samverkar i avseendet värdebildande aspekter inom ett industriellt nätverk. Studiens syfte är även att bringa klarhet i huruvida Sölvesborgsregionens fiskoljeprojekt är möjligt att genomföra samt att definiera eventuella hinder. Uppsatsen har två separata frågeställningar. För att besvara dessa har vi angripit den första frågeställningen, avseende de teoretiska litteraturområdena, utifrån en deduktiv ansats. Den andra frågeställningen, gällande fiskoljeprojektets genomförbarhet, har vi angripit utifrån en induktiv ansats.

Miljöteknisk undersökning enligt MIFO : en studie på fastigheten Bodsjölandet 1:14 avseende den nedlagda tjärfabriken i Grötingen
During 40 years of industrial production, from the end of the 1890?s until the end of 1930?s, coal and wood distillation products were manufactured in AB Carbo?s tar factory along the River Gimån in Grötingen, in the county of Jämtland, Sweden. In accordance with the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency?s Methods for Inventories of contaminated sites, MIFO, the site in Grötingen has been identified as a potentially contaminated site. In order to determine whether toxic substances pose a threat to human health and ecological systems in the area, there was a need to investigate the presence of contaminants, their levels and potential for migration.
Grön Marknadsföring = En Naturlig Strategi : Analys av Grön Marknadsföring i dagligvaruhandeln
Syfte: Att analysera hur dagligvaruhandeln använder sig av Grön Marknadsföring internt och externt för att positionera sig som ett miljövänligt företag på marknaden.Metod: En deskriptiv undersökning med primärdata i form av personliga intervjuer från de tre största aktörerna inom svenska dagligvaruhandeln.Teori: ?Green Marketing Activities at the Three Levels? har används som modell för att ta reda på hur de olika företagen arbetar med Grön Marknadsföring. Modellen är uppdelad i åtta områden och tre nivåer för Grön Marknadsföring.Slutsats: Samtliga företag vill ta ett miljöansvar, men två av tre ser sig även ha ett ansvar att informera och hjälpa kunder till ett bättre handlande. Två av de tre undersökta företagen är mer inriktade på att bygga ett ekologiskt varumärke medan det tredje företaget är mer inriktad på att upplysa om ekologi. Undersökningen visar dock att alla aktörer har undermåligt arbete med marknadsföringen i butik för att fånga upp kunders ekologiska intresse.
Kultur för flera marknadsföring av teater för personer med dövhet eller hörselskada
Today many people with disabilities are excluded from cultural activities. The reason for this is that activities and the environment are not adapted to people with disabilities. The aim of this study is to describe the process to make cultural activities accessible and to describe the importance of good communication between cultural suppliers and their customers. Other questions raised are accessibility to cultural activities for people with hearing disabilities, the activities in the marketing process, the interaction between theatre companies and its audience and if the interaction has contributed to the theatre's future development. Qualitative interviews with staff responsible for integration at seven theatres have been performed.
Boktrailern : varför marknadsföra text med ljud och bild?
Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att introducera boktrailern som fenomen och marknadsföringsmetod. Likheter mellan boktrailern, bokomslaget och filmtrailern undersöks för att ge en bild av hur en "typisk" boktrailer ser ut och vilka funktioner den kan tänkas ha. Uppsatsen utforskar även boktrailerns möjligheter att nå ut till olika målgrupper i olika åldrar, samt pekar på svårigheter med att definiera en målgrupp. Ungdomslitteratur och fantasygenren kopplas samman med boktrailern och exempel ges på hur författare och förlag kan skapa relationer till läsare via Internet. Generella riktlinjer ges för vad som bör tänkas på för att tilltala flest potentiella läsare när en boktrailer används eller utformas.

Access to the market - a question of collaboration?
When contemplating entering an alliance the rationale behind the decision should differdepending on the size of the companies involved as well as on other important factors. The importantfactors influencing the decision are related to the resource pooling potential of the alliance,the power structure along with the business network the companies are a part of. Theanalysis has shown proof of a need for cooperation if one wish to succeed in the telecommunicationindustry and it has also determined which resources that are deemed to be most important toget in touch with, for our study object, to facilitate its access to the market. Those resources aredefined as a direct channel to the customer, funds/capital and the access to relevant businessnetworks. To get in touch with these lacking resources, three alternative approaches has beenproposed; all of them involving a strategic alliance decision.
Sociala medier inom destinationsmarknadsföring : Om Stockholms och Sigtunas arbete med sociala medier
Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vad destinationsmarknadsföringsorganisationerna (DMC) Stockholm Visitor Board och Destination har för syn gällande sociala medier. Samt att titta på hur dessa två arbetar med sociala medier i sin marknadsföring och även vilka fördelar och nackdelar en sådan marknadsföring kan ha.Studien har haft en kvalitativ utgångspunkt när det gäller metodval. Men ett inslag av kvantitativa aspekter har förekommit då en enkätstudie har utförts. Flertalet kvalitativa intervjuer har ägt rumt med relevanta personer för denna studie. En vardera representant från Stockholm Visitor Board och Destination Sigtuna har intervjuats.
