For a long period of time there has been an extensive documentation of how things are presumed not to be at our workplace. However there is little knowledge on how it is supposed to be, what makes us feel good and what makes us retain our well-being. The aim of this study was to survey the attitudes towards factors of well-being at the workplace among personnel at four institutions at Kristianstad University. The work method used in this study is quantitative and a questionnaire survey was carried out to produce an overall picture. The majority considered praise from Manager and the opportunity of development discussions of great importance.

The main purpose of this master's thesis is to investigate to what extent municipal politicians govern a selected public library. This means to clarify who determines the direction of the library and its services and in what way. It also involves examining the relationship between library staff and local politicians in the decision-making process. Which decisions are made by the politicians and which are left to the employees? The study is based on an investigation of a public library in a municipality over a period of ten years the 1990s.

Att chefstalanger skulle vara speciellt kännetecknande för något av könen finns det inga bevis för. Eftersom det i dagens samhälle arbetar i stort sett lika många kvinnor som män, står kvinnan för hälften av begåvningsreserven. Det vore därför förödande för företag att inte ta till vara på denna tillgång. Statistiken gällande fördelningen av kvinnliga och manliga chefer inom näringslivet ser dyster ut, år 2006 var det endast 23 % kvinnor i chefsbefattning i den privata sektorn. På grund av denna snedfördelning kom vi fram till vårt syfte som är att förklara hur företag  går till väga för att få en mera balanserad fördelning mellan kvinnor och män på ledande befattningar.

Examensarbetet visar vad för slags funktioner Simatic PDM har och hur programmet kan utnyttjas i en anläggning.Examensarbetet innehåller en beskrivning av programmet Simatic PDM och PCS 7-styrsystemet.

This essay is about how the company management should prepare to avoid BOHICA syndrome to develop from a reorganisation. BOHICA syndrome is a cynical attitude, acquired by recurrent disappointments from, for example reorganisations. If the company management is attentive and identifies and addresses such disappointments, BOHICA syndrome can prohibit the possibilities in future to work efficiently and profitably in the company. BOHICA syndrome are thus by extension a threat to the company?s survival.

Metoden som beskrivs i denna rapport är intervjuer samt enkätundersökningar. Genom att intervjua ledning, personal och medlemmar har information samlats för att kunna hitta vart det brister i marknadsföringen. Syftet med arbetet är att öka försäljningen för ett företag med hjälp utav befintliga marknadsföringsstrategier.

The store Manager can make great benefits of having an eye on how the staff works towards the customer, because the personnel is an important tool when competing with other stores. This paper is focusing on the part that relates to the staff in the store, which is one of the key tools in the competition for customers after the customer made it to the store. Many stores have guidelines which the staff should follow when they meet with customers. If the staff is too tightly controlled by these guidelines, customers can perceive the first encounter with the staff as artificial and as if the genuine friendliness does not exist. It is important that the staff looks at the individual customer and treat every customer in a personal way and that the staff can see the customer?s needs.

According to the health care law and the national care guarantee, all individuals with mental illness have the right to good health care that is knowledge based as well as to rehabilitation where and when they need it. They also should be able to choose and have control over who is performing the care, including the design of these efforts. The purpose of this study is to investigate patients' experiences of general psychiatric emergency care and the cooperation between outpatient care, inpatient care and the municipality. This study is a descriptive cross-sectional study, conducted with a quantitative and qualitative method. The study is performed in collaboration with Akademiska Sjukhuset and is part of a larger quality improvement project.

Föreliggande uppsats handlar om enhetschefers förtroende för omsorgspersonalen inom hemtjänsten ur enhetschefsperspektiv. Eftersom förtroende är ett begrepp som kan se olika ut beroende på vilket område som undersöks, avgränsas uppsatsens undersökning till att gälla enhetschefers förtroende i samband med förekomsten av omsorgspersonal som stjäl hemma hos brukare. Omsorgspersonals stölder hos brukare av hemtjänst är ett outforskat område, det enda som med säkerhet kan sägas är att det förekommer. Därför har uppsatsen som syfte att undersöka hur enhetschefers förtroendebild och kontrollåtgärder ser ut för att kunna ha förtroende avseende förekomsten av stölder. Teorierna som används för analysen är Uslaner´s teori om moralisk och strategisk tillit och Luhmann´s teoretiska funktionsanalys av förtroende samt Cohen´s och Felson´s rutinaktivitetsteori.

Syfte: Att öka kunskapen om skillnaden mellan förstalinjechefens förväntningar inför den första chefspositionen och vad verkligheten sedan visar sig kräva. Vidare vill vi få nya perspektiv på ämnet, se det från en ny synvinkel samt öka kunskapen kring ett område som vi anser saknar tillfredsställande forskning. Metod: Vi har uteslutande använt oss av kvalitativ insamlingsmetod med hjälp av djupintervjuer. Vi har en hermeneutisk ansats och har strävat efter att uppnå en närhet till respondenterna under intervjuerna. Teoretiska Perspektiv: Den teorin vi främst använt oss av är Linda Hills bok; ”Becoming a Manager - How New Managers Master the Challenges of Leadership”. Enligt hennes studie så skiljer sig förväntningar och utfall markant åt för nyblivna förstalinjechefer.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how employees in the financial sector perceive the leadership behaviors of middle Managers, and if these perceptions differ depending on the Manager's gender and if so, in what way. The study is based on a social constructivist perspective and theories of gendered organizational structures. It is based on 15 semi-structured interviews with employees who have either female or male middle Managers from different companies in the Swedish financial sector. The results show that gender often acts as a framework for how leadership is evaluated and understood. Female middle Managers are frequently associated with relationship-oriented qualities.

Abstract The aim of this paper is to investigate whether Vara municipality has a continuous picture of their identity, profile and image. Globalization has contributed to the increasingly growing of place marketing. Therefore, the study goes on to using the concepts of identity, profile and image to find out if Vara Municipality communicates similar throughout the whole organization and find out their all through core values. Globalisation will be an interpretive framework for the work that describes why the place marketing is becoming more pressing. The sense of place will be a central part of this study as it is the feelings and images of different places that will be described by the municipality together with the identity, profile and image.
