Kunskapso?verfo?ring inom franchisena?tverk : En studie av utveckling och o?verfo?ring av kunskap inom franchisena?tverk
This case study has been conducted within the Swedish fitness chain World Class to explore the opportunities for knowledge development and transfers within franchise networks. We have interviewed the product manager at the World Class headquarter, the owner of a franchise club and a local product manager from the same facility. Our finding indicates that various forms of knowledge transfer occur within the World Class network, particularly in product development and sales. The transfer occurs within the framework set by World Class with regularly scheduled meetings. In addition informal networks provide other means of knowledge exchange between some units.
Revisorns anpassning till ny revisionsstandard : Fyra småföretagares uppfattning om revisorns planering och granskning
Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur små aktiebolag med 10-50 anställda och enomsättning understigande 100 mkr uppfattar att de mer omfattande kraven för planering ochgranskning har påverkat revisorns arbete sedan en ny revisionsstandard (RS) infördes i januari2004. Har revisionsbyråerna anpassat sig till den nya standarden och arbetar de efter RS mall förplanering och granskning? Har företagen upplevt att några förändringar har skett sedan införandetav RS och vilka är i sådana fall dessa?För att besvara frågeställningarna har representanter från fyra mindre aktiebolag intervjuats ochgett sin bild av hur de upplever att revisorn ändrat sin granskning sedan RS infördes. RS mall förvad som skall ingå i planeringen och granskningen har använts som referensram tillsammans medett antal hypoteser grundade på en personlig intervju med auktoriserad revisor MarianneFredriksson Stohr. Denna mall samt hypoteser har sedan tjänat som jämförelsegrund då vianalyserat de empiriska resultaten.

From elevator pitch to organizational vision - How does the personal idea become an outspoken organizational vision?
The purpose of this dissertation is to create an understanding of how a personal idea in the mind of an entrepreneur becomes an outspoken vision in one biotech company. More specifically, for what purpose the vision is used at different stages, how it is communicated, its content and what impact previous visions have on future vision work and in order to reach a deeper understanding of how vision develops over time and how it is used we have employed a qualitative approach based on a case study. The theoretical framework starts with the concept of vision and related concepts. Furthermore, the entrepreneur?s and manager?s usage of vision is examined.
Biståndshandläggare inom äldreomsorgen - mellan behov, lagar, riktlinjer och handlingsutrymme
This study is about care managers, who process in the care of the elderly, regarding to needs, rules, regulations, guidelines and their freedom of space. The purpose with this study is to understand how the care managers process out of the basis from the needs of the elderly, the municipal guidelines in relation to the caremanagers freedom of space.The study has a qualitative approach and is based on semistructured interviews with five different care managers.To analyze our interview material we have use the street-level bureaucrat theory by Lipsky and Johansson and the theoretical idea empowerment. Before we started our research about care managers we had an understanding in that the organization had an influence in the judgment of the needs of the elderly. Now we have an understanding in that the relative to the elderly is the one who wants to affect the care manager during the judgment of needs in what effort to make. Our study indicates that it exist insecurity regarding to the municipal guidelines, which was surprising. We thought that the guideline was something positive and a help full tool for the care managers.The result in our research points out that the guidelines makes insecurity instead of comfort.Our study shows that the care managers are contradictory regarding to their freedom of space. In the other hand they consider that their freedom of space is positive, but on the other hand when the municipal guidelines don´t work, they become worried and insecure.It´s the none working municipal guidelines who gives the care managers a huge freedom of space. Which leads to that the care managers is afraid of doing misjudgments. Our result don´t distinguish from other studies made in this subject area. .
Sammanställning av riktlinjer för utformning och användbarhetstest av interaktiva webbsidor. En studie av användbarheten på Folksams webbplats
På Folksam utförs vid starten av detta examensarbete ingen samordnad användbarhetstest vid design av företagets webbplats och dess applikationer. Arbetet med att utforma egna testanvisningar för användbarhetstest har precis tagit sin början och en grupp av anställda som ska ta på sig detta arbete har just bildats. Testanvisningarna utformas utifrån information som inhämtats under kurser, seminarier samt de anställdas egna erfarenheter. Syftet med det examensarbetet som denna rapport beskriver har varit att utforma en utvärderingsmodell som skall användas som mall vid användbarhetstest under utvecklingsarbete av Folksams webbplats. Den utvärderingsmodell som tagits fram under arbetet är en slags sammanställning av de riktlinjer som finns för utformning av interaktiva webbsidor som möter användarens krav på användbarhet.

It?s a dynamic society that Norrbottens läns landsting (NLL) operates in today and it is therefore of great importance that the managers get a solid foundation to rely on, since they have a central role in the ambition for efficiency. Another reason to educating the managers is that NLL can secure the future pension losses.

Utvärdering av en ny mall för en systematisk genomgång av hundens normala rörelsemönster : hur användbar är mallen för undervisning av veterinärstudenter?
Arbetet syftade till att skapa och utvärdera ett undervisningsmaterial om normalt rörelsemönster hos hund för veterinärstudenter. Undervisningsmaterialet byggdes kring en mall som skulle möjligöra för studenterna att på ett systematiskt sätt gå igenom hundens normala rörelsemönster. Mallen utformades med befintliga mallar för hältdetektion som grund. Dessa mallar bearbetades och omformades till en ny mall utgående från normalt rörelsemönster. Undervisningsmaterialet hade ytterligare två delar, ett filmarkiv med friska hundar som rör sig i främst skritt och trav filmade från sidan, bakifrån och framifrån, samt en sammanställning av hundens gångarter och grundläggande begrepp inom rörelseanalys hos hund.

During the last decade executive coaching has become an increasingly popular method of management development. Few studies have been conducted within this area, especially in Sweden, and little has been said about the construction of management in executive coaching. The purpose of this master?s thesis is to study executive coaching from a social constructionist perspective, focusing on the construction of management. The two research questions are: How is management constructed in executive coaching? How can we understand the construction of management in executive coaching? Additionally, we identify gender as a social construction of importance and thus include a gender perspective in our analysis.

In the process of change, leadership and the leaders capacity to create motivation for the co-workers, is therefore a matter that is decisive to its success.This is a study based on a qualitative method, where the interview is the main source of empirical material.

Background: Having chosen to take a degree in international business, we have had many opportunities to meet people from different cultures. These encounters have, we believe, made our lives richer, but they have not always been problem-free. When different cultures come together, the differences inevitably become apparent. Being among friends, one can maybe laugh at these differences or it may be a good opportunity to get people to talk to each other, taking the time to explain why they do things a certain way. Being at work and experience these differences might not at all have the same ice-breaking effect - rather the opposite sometimes.

I vilket fall så anser författarna att elevens utvildning blir den bästa möjliga om eleven får möjlighet att vara med och besluta - både i lärandeprocessen och i examinationsprocessen. Syftet med detta arbete var just att studera elevernas inflytande i lärande- och elevernas inflytande i examinationsprocessen. Utifrån författarnas studier så visar det sig att eleverna mycket riktigt förespråkar ett inflytande i dessa. Författarna utförde två studier, Studie I "Janne", där elever från gymnasieskolan och folkhögskolan fick ta ställning till en fiktiv elev, Janne, och hans svårigheter kring den skriftliga examinationsformen.

Seen in many trends and studies, consumers of today feel a growing desire to experience the uniqueness in products and services. This is forcing companies be more innovative and creative in their marketing, in order to distinguish and differentiate themselves and their products/services. We believe that creating a top-to-bottom experience strategy is one way that a company can succeed in this.The purpose of this thesis is to analyze and clarify how a business can reinforce their product experience through a complete experience strategy. In order to demonstrate this we have made a case-study research for the New Wave Group, advising them on how they can place blown glass art at the heart of the town of Kosta.The authors have used qualitative methods and an abductive approach. Four interviews have been completed with executives from the New Wave Group, including the project manager, hotel manager, head of the Kosta Boda smeltery and head of guides and visitors at Kosta museum.

The motivation to conduct the study was that external project managers have become more common the last decades. At the same time trust is considered to be a key factor for efficiency and good results for the organisation. The group members? trust in the leader is built on past experiences of both the leader at a personal level, and the leaders? relationship to the task. Trust can also be built over time, when the leader earns trust from the group members.
