In this project I have created a design for the delivery rooms of Swedish hospitals with the psychological aspects ofbirthgiving in focus. This is something that I think the delivery rooms lack and so far it has been the midwifes job to,without any tools, give the women in labor the mental support and encouragement they need.My goal was to give the midwifes a tool to work with when it comes to encouragement, something helping themhelping the woman to feel safe and relaxed, strengthened, informed and in control of the situation.I choose to focus on the difficulties measuring the physical work the woman in labour had done and what was leftof the labour. I wanted to visualize the process of the birth, allowing the woman to see and being able to focus onwhere during the labour she is, how far she has left and also being strengthened by the amount of work already managed.Further I wanted to make the woman feel invited to take control over the birth and the room in which she isin labour. I wanted her to be able ? if she wanted ? to make her own settings of the mood in the room, deciding forherself if she wanted a more relaxed environment or perhaps a more energetic.

This thesis focus on the presentation of the filmic room the viewer sees in George A. Romero´s three horror classics Night, Dawn and Day of the Dead. The hypothesis goes as follow; fear and element of tension becomes greater if the audience/viewer has a good knowledge about the filmic room in the film, in other words, a good spatial awareness. The conclusion is that it does. The environment is active in its becoming and in its presentation to the viewer.

Livsmedelverkets riktlinjer för Bra mat i skolan är det enda styrdokument som finns förskolmåltider. Där beskrivs hur pedagogisk måltid med fördel ska ingå i pedagogernasuppdrag. Studier har dock visat att pedagoger känner sig osäkra i sin roll under måltiden,vilket kan bero på pedagogernas brist på utbildning och kunskap om mat och nutrition. Fråganär hur lärare kan förväntas att agera som förebilder vid måltiden när det inte finns någraofficiella riktlinjer som stöd, eller när det inte finns professionell kunskap om mat ochnutrition?Syftet var att kartlägga pedagogernas syn på sin roll under den pedagogiska måltiden ochvilken inställning de har till denna.

This Master?s thesis concerns the question why a public library establishes a special room for young people and how the young people can influence the activities. I have made interviews with two librarians and four teenagers from a reference group. I have also made an observation of the room. The most important theories are Pierre Bourdieu?stheory of symbolic capital and Mats Lieberg?s theory of free zones.

This project is a deepening in how the space in psychiatric care setting can promote and improve thepatient?s well-being. The aim with this study was to create a manual for architects and the care to takepart of. This would consist of different aspects of how the space can be created for a more secure,care taking and healing space. With help of the manual the study would continue by creating a healingpatient room in a psychiatric clinic.The main questions were; can we create an environment which improves the healing process for thementally ill? What are the factors that we need to consider to creating a room for psychiatric care?This study only looks at the patient room, the common room and how the environment can affect theiremotional and physical well-being.By taking part of already made studies in this subject or similar, making my own studies by visitingpsychiatric departments and exploring how the spaces there contribute or not contribute to the healingprocess of the patient.

Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka hur elever och lärare uppfattar sambandet mellan lunchsituationen och undervisningen samt vilka faktorer det är som påverkar elevernas lunchvanor. Undersökningen gjordes i form av elevenkäter och uppföljande intervjuer med lärare.Enkäterna besvarades av elever i mellanstadiet på två olika skolor i två olika kommuner.De flesta elever har en positiv inställning till skolmaten och tycker att den är god. Dock svarar en del av eleverna att de inte alltid äter sig mätta under lunchen.  Eleverna tror att de skulle äta mer och oftare äta sig mätta om det fanns två olika rätter att välja mellan varje dag.Enligt lärarna kan de ibland märka skillnad på eleverna beroende på vad det är för mat som serveras till lunch. Är det något eleverna tycker om äter de mer och är piggare på eftermiddagarna är det något de inte tycker om äter de mindre och det kan leda till konflikter under eftermiddagarna. Lektionerna som påverkas mest under dagen är lektionen precis innan lunch då eleverna kan vara trötta och hungriga men även den sista lektionen på dagen. Lektionen precis efter lunch känner eleverna sig piggast. Miljön i matsalen inverkar också på hur elevernas lunchvanor ser ut, de svarar att de har tillräckligt med tid att äta på men kan bli stressade av att mycket folk kommer och går samt när kompisar sitter och väntar. .

Our purpose with this research is to highlight that there is a scope for increased value creation in the experience room during concerts, and how value-enhancing strategies can be a competitive advantage for different venues. In our investigation of this we have worded the following research question: How is the perceived customer value affected during a concert in the experience room and its physical environment? With the background in this question we have identified three key concepts that we believe are the influence of the total concert experience which are; sensory experiences, interaction and identity. From these concepts we have drafted a number of propositions to test the reality by our empirical data collection. .

It has long been discussed how to use music in a new way in the field of food and elderly, and in this study, the authors wanted to test this. Music is the language of emotions. It?s a powerful tool, but its effects are difficult to predict (Theorell, 2009). Malnutrition in the elderly is a serious condition that often gets overlooked (Edfors & Westergren, 2012).

Several studies has identified the locker room experience as a potential deterrent for participation in physical education. Both psychological and physical issues arise due to several factors. Psychological issues include different kinds of verbal and physical violations, comparisons between pupils, feeling of vulnerability along with a stressful schedule. The physical environment can contribute to negative experience for pupils in terms of filthy premises and cold showers. These factors may contribute to higher absentee rates in physical education.

This final project is an investigation about the responsibility in rooms where the walls and floors are exposed or partly exposed to irrigation of water, as a bathroom, laundry room and WC. The cost for all water damage is valued for 5 000 000 000 SEK each year. How is this possible with all information about the problem and good materials? Who is responsible? Incites had been made in the subject throw reading reports and participation in courses about how to make a room mention above. Discussions have been made with workers in the trade of making the walls waterproof.The conclusion in the rapport is about who´s responsible for the damages and will pay the cost of the renovation. The responsibility is discussed between the contractor and the insurance company.

The purpose of this study is to examine the physical space of children?s libraries in Sweden, and also to see which influences there are in the literature about the same subject. What ideas exist in the literature about the physical room of children?s libraries? We have studied how and if these influences can be seen in a selected number of children?s libraries. Our theoretical perspective is based on Anthony Gidden?s theory of construction.

ABSTRACT (english)Introduction: The possibility to transplant an organ is an important part of the health care system, which demands great resources and a well functioning organization with a level of high competence. The work with organ donation is complex and brings forward a great amount of different emotions for the operation room nurse. Aim: The aim with the study is to illustrate the operating room nurses experience when the organ donor is brain dead. Method: Data collection has been performed with semi-structured interviews, which have been interpreted by qualitative manifest analysis. The design of the study is pilot towards a study in full scale.

Syftet med vårt arbete är att undersöka hur elevers frukostvanor ser ut samt om det finns något samband mellan en bra frukost och goda skolprestationer hos elever i skolan. Undersökningen genomfördes på grundskolor i Luleå och Skellefteå kommun under vår verksamhetsförlagda utbildning (vfu), hösten 2005. Eleverna är mellan sex och sju år gamla varav fjorton flickor och sjutton pojkar. Vår empiriska studie grundar sig på enkäter till elever. Enkäterna användes som underlag för att kunna identifiera vilka elever som åt bra respektive mindre bra frukost.
