The purpose of this investigation is to show how politicians state primary goals and how they break them down into secondary objectives within the sector of Child-and education area. This is supposed to create a general image on how the targeting process is handled within the public activity. Finally, this will lead us to what is necessary for the targeting process to work successfully within the public activity.  We have implemented a qualitative study within the two chosen municipalities. This case study is based on personal interviews that are conducted through semi structured questions.

The current field of research concerning the impact of railroads in Sweden beside from the State main-line network is relatively narrow. Including cultural impact to the area narrows the results even further. The purpose of this study is to open the field even more into the local societies and to what extent the impact of the introduction of railroad might have had on smaller county villages. Sweden holds a unique position concerning ?station towns? or ?railways towns? in terms of railway policy and the industrial development in towns that were affected by the railway, as the affected towns continued development were based on a hybrid between direct democracy and adaptations of city-law policies.This study takes place in Kisa, a small town in southern Östergötland that during the beginning of the 20th century turned into a municipal community due to the building of Östra centralbanan (roughly translated Eastern central-line).

Då uppfattningen om vad som skapar balans är subjektiv, torde det från företagets sida vara viktigt att veta vad medarbetarna upplever, stödjer och hindrar upplevelsen av balans. Dessutom torde en klar bild över vad som stödjer och vad som hindrar, säkerställa en maximal avkastning av de satsningar som företaget ger personalen. Utifrån detta utformades studiens syfte, vilket var att öka förståelsen för vilka faktorer individer anser stödjer och hindrar upplevelsen av balans.

Företag inom handel är underrepresenterade i litteratur kring Event Marketing. Kommunikationsverktyget som erbjuder interaktion tilltalar dagens upplevelsesökande konsumenter. Event Marketing som verktyg är i sin tur underrepresenterat inom Brand Management. På grund av Event Marketings aktualitet i dagens samhälle borde det teoretiska gapet studeras. Uppsatsens syfte var således att undersöka hur företag inom handel använder Event Marketing för att framhålla och stärka sitt varumärke, detta med hjälp av följande frågeställningar: Hur motiverar företag inom handel användande av EM? Hur arbetar företag inom handel med att säkerställa att EM får en positiv inverkan på varumärket? Vilka särdrag kan identifieras, inom användandet av EM, för företag inom handel? Undersökningen genomfördes med ett arbetssätt liknande det abduktiva genom öppna kvalitativa intervjuer med tre företag inom handel samt tre eventbyråer.

 This study was conducted in autumn 2008 on the Company AB, which is currently in a growth phase. The company manufactures hydraulic systems for the heavy vehicle industry and has annual sales of approximately 250 MSEK with 165 employees.The rapid growth and unchanged planning is the starting point for this report. It all began in 2005 when the company received an unusually large order. During this period, the first priority was to satisfy customers and all other focus was disregarded. This has primarily resulted in a messy production and long throughput times.

Som hjälpmedel för att följa upp och kontrollera ändringar i våtändekemin på en kartongmaskin finns nuförtiden olika sorters on-line mätinstrument tillgängliga på marknaden. Syftet med dessa är att kontinuerligt mäta variabler som är intressanta för processen vilka sedan kan kopplas till egenskaper hos mälden. Målet med projektet var att koppla mätningar utförda med ett sådant instrument till ändringar i kemikaliedoseringar och andra processvariabler för att om möjligt kunna använda mätningarna för att förutspå kvalitetsvariationer hos den färdiga produkten. På så sätt kan användbarheten för instrumentet ökas. Undersökningen har huvudsakligen skett med multivariat dataanalys på data uthämtat under hösten 2000, januari 2001 och sommaren 2001.

The design of thetransformer is using an already existingcurrent transformer design and is adjustedto work for it's specific purpose. Theproject also contains the developing of atransformer simulation model that will beused to evaluate and optimize thedimensions of the resulting transformer..

This report will show the energy usage of Hotel Princess in Sandviken, Sweden. When the hotel changed owner an examination of the hotels heating, ventilation and sanitary systems were done. The report showed flaws in the ventilation system, and is why the new owner wanted a closer look at the energy use of the hotel. The original building was built in the 1930s and two major extensions have been built, one in the 1950s and the most recent in the 1980s. An assumption made is that the building parts were built to the restrictions during the time. Activities on the hotel include sleep over, conference, night club, massage and swimming in the hotels pool section.

High quality within a Lean production system begins with standardised work, which creates stable processes able to generate predictable output. If nonconformity from the standard procedures occurs, routines are needed to analyse, correct and prevent the nonconformity from occurring again. In that way, the nonconformity can be a trigger for continuous improvements toward more stable processes. In takted production lines, where the operator follows a standard sequence with tasks set to be completed within the takt time, a nonconformity leads to downtime in the operator?s sequence, and no value is added.

It is a complicated line of business that requires knowledge and understanding of both technical solutions and interaction between actors. It is impossible to be fully learned and with that much unknown it can be hard to know where to start. This report is one step in the right direction. It contains a planning that contains construction and installations for a one level house in Kiruna with its different choices motivated.

Earlier models that measured de facto harmonization of international accounting mainly used indices and other related statistical models. Those approaches do not account for the relative importance of individual balance sheet items or expense items being harmonized. This paper therefore proposes a different approach using Runsten?s (1998) permanent measurement bias model. That way it is possible to quantify the harmonization process by accounting for differences among companies.

The purpose of this master?s thesis was to find problems that occur in the production line at Atlas Copco Rocktec Division, in order to decrease the costs of defect in quality. When the problems were distinguished, the authors ought to choose the problem with the highest improvement potential. The Disney princess line includes nine films, in our study we have extended this line to include the latest three films from Walt Disney Pictures that follow the same pattern. These films are Tangled (2010), Brave (2012) and Frozen (2013). We have conducted our study using the same method used by England, Descartes and Collier-Meeks (2011) in their study of the first nine films, starting with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs produced in 1937 to Princess and the Frog from 2009. A quantitative study was executed where we focused on gender role portrayal, the main characters behavioral characteristics and performed rescues. We applied the following theories to our result; the Social Constructivism, Laura Mulvey?s theory of the Male Gaze, Michel Foucault?s theory of power and discourse, intersectionality and Claude E.
