Betygsskillnader på Kallingeskolan
- ett attitydsproblem?
It?s not a new occurrence that girls have higher grades than boys. Statistics show the same at the Kallinge school in Ronneby. There is a great difference between boys and girls in their grades from the ninth class. There are many different factors that affect the pupils. We chose to do an investigation about attitudes in school. We interviewed seven pupils and asked them questions about their backgrounds, their current situations in school, grades and their future. We found out that the family and the social backgrounds is important for their attitudes and their choice in the future regarding education, occupation and where they choose to reside. We could also see that friends had an important impact on each other. There must be a balance between your own and others' expectations.
