Enligt svensk lag ska ett aktiebolag ha en styrelse. I många små företag är styrelsen till största delen en pappersprodukt eftersom ägare, verkställande direktör och styrelsen är en och samma person. I takt med att företaget växer sig större klarar en person inte längre av att styra och kontrollera företaget. När företaget blir så pass stort är det dags att börja arbeta aktivt med företagets styrelse och se över sammansättningen av den. Vi har varit intresserade av styrelseproblem i växande företag, där företaget går in i en så kallad kontrollkris.

Idag berör fondsparandet alla svenskar. Exklusive ppm äger sju av tio svenskar andelar i någon fond och under fjärde kvartalet 2009 uppgick det totala fondsparandet till 1393 miljarder kronor. En majoritet av detta kapital är investerade i aktivt förvaltade fonder. Målet för aktivt förvaltade fonder är att slå index och genom detta ge en bättre avkastning än passivt förvaltade indexfonder.Media har under senaste tiden börjat ifrågasätta om de aktivt förvaltade fonderna kan slå index. Men redan tidigare, faktiskt så tidigt som 1960 talet har forskarvärlden påstått att det inte går att slå index under en längre period genom aktiv förvaltning.

With the collapse of the Soviet Union and the 9/11 attacks, the landscape of the freedom of religion has changed. The issues now facing freedom of religion varies greatly from the issues that the drafters of the universal declaration of human rights faced after World War II.In the light of the new issues that States face in the intersection of religion and societal interest, scholars have criticized the European Court of Human Rights to give too much leeway to the States in determining how the human rights should be implemented, by using the doctrine of margin of appreciation. Critics of the margin of appreciation claim that it is based on culture relativism and that the doctrine undermines the universality of the human rights. In order to decide if the margin of appreciation has indeed led to a relativization of the human rights I compared it to the jurisprudence of the UN Human Rights Committee and its use of the Syracusa principles. My conclusion is that the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights cannot be considered to be based on culture relativism.

Vad är val? Är de val vi har våra egna? Spelutvecklare idag kämpar med spelares fria vilja då detta kan orsaka problem. Till exempel när spelare gör val som spelutvecklare inte har räknat med, vilket som följd kan skapa frustration hos båda parter. Problemet med spelares oförutsägbarhet i sina val är något som spelutvecklare ständigt har försökt lösa. Idag finns det flera tekniker som syftar till att diskret manipulera möjligheten till val inom spel och samtidigt låta spelare vara ovetande om detta.

Överrapportering är en process då patientspecifik informa­tion förmedlas till sjuksköterskan i början av ett pass. Över­lämnande sjuksköterska formar innehållet i överrapporter­ingen efter det behov som framkommer under överrapporter­ingen. Kvaliteten i vården återspeglas av vårdkvalitet utifrån vårdindikatorer och patientens tillfredsställelse. Brister i över­­rapportering kan leda till skada eller till och med död för patienten, då information i överrapporteringen exempelvis är inkomplett. Syftet med studien var att belysa överrapporter­ingen mellan sjuksköterskor relaterat till kvalitet i vården.

I denna uppsats har vi tittat på fenomenet korruption. Anledningen till att vi valde att göra detta arbete var att vi ville belysa vad korruption är och vad det innebär. Det som ständigt nämns när man läser om detta ämne är hur negativt korruptionen inverkar på samhällen. Detta var ytterligare en anledning till att vi valde att titta närmare på vad som händer i samhällen drabbade av korruption. Vad vi kom fram till var att korruption kan uppstå på grund av många olika orsaker och var i samhället den uppstår kan variera.

The aim of this study was to examine how social policy is created in a local context on the basis of the situation regarding the begging EU migrants in Kalmar, Sweden. The last few years the number of begging EU migrants has increased in Sweden. Most of them are Roma with a history of exclusion and discrimination. To reach our goal we interviewed three managers from the social Services representing the local authorities. We also did four interviews with people from three non-profit organizations in Kalmar.

The purpose of this master thesis is to use marketing theory on the library?s activities. The marketing theory used is the 4Ps; product, price, promotion and place, as it's presented by Philip Kotler. Because the library can be seen as a service oriented organization Christian Gronroos theory of marketing in the service industry also has been used. A case study of the public library in Broby was made to illustrate how the public libraries? activities can appear in the light of marketing theory.

The danger and vulnerability associated with a preterm birth seem to be closely correlated with a dysfunction of the fetal hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, whose maturation in the foal is without a doubt as delicate as it is important. Not only is this endocrine cascade vital for the foal in order to cope with neonatal stress, it also appears to be fundamental for the final fetal intrauterine maturation, as well as for the onset of foaling. Equine gestation exhibits some rather unique features, indicating a somewhat different significance of the endocrine changes associated with HPA maturation, compared to many other species. This hormonal cascade is rapid and confined to a narrow time during late gestation in the horse, and the risk of the foal completely missing it therefore becomes prominent. Induced parturition in the mare may be operated through uterotonic agents, which occasionally bring about premature foals. Desirable seems the ability to initiate equine labour while simultaneously enhancing fetal HPA maturation, as in humans and ruminants through perinatal glucocorticoid administration. However, similar treatment in the horse has resulted in various, sometimes fatal, outcomes. In the light of the distinctive features of equine gestation, difficulties are encountered following such administration of glucocorticoids and ACTH.

Since the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) was adopted in 1979 there has been evident progress in the area of women's rights in great parts of the world, although this progress is still foremost concentrated to the Westernhemisphere. In Argentina, the work with gender equality and women's rights set of strongly during the last decade. The country has ratified the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and the Inter-American Convention on the Prevention, Punishmentand Eradication of Violence against Women "Convention of Belem Do Para" but still women and girls are victims of structural discrimination and serious impunity of their rights on a daily basis.The current situation proves that the positive changes within the context of international and national law do not necessary reach out to the population to the same extent. In the light of the lacking popular involvement and knowledge of their rights, a different type of solution is desirable. Therefore it would be of interest to examinate the role of Non Governmental Organisations (NGO:s) when it comes to implementing human rights in the society and ?the every day life?.

Det har gjorts mycket forskning på pedagogiska datorspel och hur de kan användas i undervisning.Den här studien har försökt sammanfatta och sammanställa detta till en modell för hur datorspelkan utforskas och analyseras anpassat till verksamheten. Syftet med studien är således: Attutmejsla ett ramverk för pedagoger för högre åldrar, som kan hjälpa till att avgöra hur bra olikadatorspel (underhållningsspel och pedagogiska spel) skulle kunna fungera i verksamheten.Två strategispel med inriktning mot historia har analyserats, Age of Empires 3 och MakingHistory: The Calm and the Storm. Spelen har spelats och sedan analyserats utifrån RETAINmodellen.De har därefters spelats av fyra elever som har observerats, vilket har gett insyn i vilkaaspekter som är viktiga att titta på som pedagog vid analys av datorspel.Resultatet mynnar ut i ett antal olika kategorier och frågor som kan hjälpa till vid analys av ettdatorspel som ev. kan användas i undervisning. Vad spelet har för fokus, lärande ellerunderhållning? Vad spelet har för relevans till undervisningen? Hur har det akademiska materialetinkorporerats i spelet? I vilken kontext ska spelet spelas? Hur ska man tillämpa de kunskaper somspelet ger? Kan spelet verka motiverande och hur mycket tid och resurser måste läggas på spelet isin helhet? Detta ramverk är förhoppningsvis så pass konkreta och lättförståeliga att de kananvändas av en pedagog i verksamhet för att avgöra hur bra ett datorspel kan inkorporeras i enverksamhet..

Denna uppsats är en studie av Eyvind Johnsons användande av sagoformen i romansviten Romanen om Olof (1934-37), och behandlar de fyra sagor som infogats i verket. Utgångspunkten är Johnsons eget påstående att sagorna är "på sitt sätt det mest realistiska i boken". Studien syftar till att redogöra för hur sagorna fungerar som verklighetsskildringar, och på vilket sätt de är realistiska. Sagorna sätts i samband med Johnsons eget liv; eftersom detta ligger till grund för Romanen om Olof är den biografiska kontexten av stor vikt då man diskuterar verklighetsförankringen i sagorna. En enkel översikt över sagobegreppet och Johnsons sagors relation till den muntliga folkdiktningen presenteras även.Att Johnsons sagor är realistiska har en dubbelbottnad innebörd; dels är de realistiska på så vis att de skildrar romanpersonernas andliga verklighet, något som för Johnson är omöjligt att göra i någon annan form.

Within the interconnected global markets of today; people, products, and information travel at a pace never met before. In light of the global retail markets recent integration, consumers are opened up to new products and are beginning to develop a vetted interest in the heritage of those products. Within literature this process has been coined "Country of Origin" COO, and its impacts on consumer attitudes, product value- assessment, and overall behaviors has been one of the most emphasized areas of "international business" studies, during the last three decades. Numerous studies have shown a correlation between positive or advantageous associations to a country of origin, and the actual products representing and coming out of that country. It is by this synergetic process that so-called positive COO-effects are brought forth.The goal of this thesis stems directly from the still unexplored potential for Swedish firms to differentiate their products and brands on new international markets, through a strategic and coherent communication of relevant Swedish COO-effects.

The survey aims to shed light on traditional and contemporary bottom floor frames, their construction and different insulating materials; mineral wool, wood shavings and charcoal. The purpose is to analyze and discuss the similarities and differences as well as the pros and cons with a focus on the construction and the different insulating materials. The work has been limited to comparing two different wooden floor frames. The first one is based on a real floor frame from an older building, this example is presented as the traditional floor frame in this study and are from around 1940. The other floor frame is presented as a contemporary floor frame and is based on wood building type descriptions and literature.

The area of Järvafältet in the northern parts of Stockholm is one of the many large-scale investments into Swedish residency executed in the 60?s and 70?s, and which got the name Miljonprogrammet. Not until today these buildings have been restored, and frustration has been brewing in these areas for some time. Järvadialogen is the name of a communication program connected to the housing restoration in the area of Husby, which is a part of Järvafältet, and functions as a promotional and informational dialogue between residents in the area and those responsible for the communication program. The cultural diversity in the area of Husby is significant, and with theories on intercultural communication, change communication and power we study the performed communicative process and the manner in which it is received.
