The study aims to contribute knowledge about children's perceptions of the leisure-time as a learning environment. The study can be seen as an attempt to highlight the possible learning in the leisure-time, formally or informally.The study is based on two group interviews with a total of 11 children and was conducted by an interview guide with question areas to be discussed freely so that the children could give as full an answer as possible.Main results of the study show that children feel that they are staying at the leisure-time to get care when their parents are working and that they primarily associate the leisure-time with playing. The results show however that children feel that they learn things when participating in the leisure-time teaches controlled activities.It is possible to draw conclusions about the child actually experienced the leisure-time as a learning environment, but it can be difficult to identify when and how learning actually occurs. However, children do not perceive that there is learning while they play..

The purpose of this study was to investigate parents' knowledge about diet and dental caries. The survey was conducted using a structured questionnaire consisting of 19 questions regarding knowledge of diet and caries, and preventive measures. The questionnaires were distributed to parents who were visiting a dental hygienist or prophylaxis nurse with their children aged 0-3 years. A total of 88 completed surveys were collected. The study showed that the majority of the parents had knowledge about diet and dental caries.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate the electric solar potential on the Swedish island Gotland. The Gotlandic habitations have been divided into four house categories. For each category energy demand, roof area, geographic orientation androof tilt have been decided. Solar radiation data have been collected from the Swedish solar radiation model STRÅNG (STRÅNG, 2012).The buildings characteristics and the solar radiation have been used as input values in common solar formulas, the solar potential for each building category have been summed up to a total electric solar potential for the region.The electric solar potential on Gotland was calculated to 242 GWh/year with solar data from 2010. Gotlands largest city, Visby, is marked as cultural heritage by UNESCO (UNESCO, 2012).

The effect of the salary system and age on the internal and external motivationThe purpose of the study was to examine how a fixed salary with commission and only a fixed salary, and age affect the internal and external work motivation of sellers. This was studied by a questionnaire and participants were sellers in the call center industry in Sweden. In total there were 112 sellers from nine different companies that responded to the survey. The respondents were divided into groups based on pay systems and age. The measuring instrument used was the Work Extrinsic and Intrinsic Motivation Scale which classifies the motivation of internal and external based on six subscales.

The treatment that women get from health care staff can influence the experience of the abortion and how women manage to coping the experience emotionally. The aim of this study was to illuminate women?s experiences in connection with an abortion. The findings show that the women?s social situation led them to the decision of abortion.

AKK har g?tt fr?n att vara ett kommunikations-verktyg fr?mst riktat till enskilda barn med funktionsvariationer till ett kommunikationsverktyg som numera anv?nds alltmer frekvent, som en del i den tydligg?rande l?rmilj?n, framf?r allt i f?rskolan. Samtidigt upplever vi att det saknas forskning om AKK inom det pedagogiska f?ltet och framf?r allt i relation till f?rskolan.

Examensarbetet omfattade framtagande av ICC-profiler fošr substrat till storformatskrivaren Mutoh Toucan PJ-1614NXE (Mutoh Toucan) hos BEMI REKLAM AB (BEMI), Borlašnge. Fošretaget har tidigare anvašnt en standardlinjašrisering till samtliga substrat fošr storformatskrivaren, dock utan att applicera na°gon ICC-profil fošr utenheter. Samtliga substrat till Mutoh Toucan ašr avsedda fošr utomhusbruk.

Socialt stöd bidrar till mindre risk för yrkesrelaterad utbrÀndhet. Var tredje lÀrare uppvisar inom sina första arbetsÄr symptom pÄ utbrÀndhet. Syftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka samband mellan socialt stöd och utbrÀndhet hos grundskolelÀrare. Totalt deltog 71 respondenter i Stockholm via enkÀter. Socialt stöd mÀttes via Berlin Social Support Scale och utbrÀndhet mÀttes med Shirom Melamed Burnout Measure.

The aim of this study is to examine how zodiac signs are depicted through social interactions from an identity perspective and if zodiac signs can be seen as a form of divination. Our method was based on the answers of seven informants (six interviews in total), all of whom were interested in astrology with two of the informants having the title of astrologer by profession. After the implementation of Erving Goffman?s dramaturgical theory regarding identity and Jesper Fr?kj?r S?rensen?s divinatory perspective, we found evidence in the orrelation between zodiac signs and identity, along with astrology having little to no correlation with divination. The results show that although the majority of the informants were hesitant to the assertion that astrology can provide divinatory evidence, many of them still consumed and followed astrological advice based on prognosis.

Stump wood was used between 1850 and 1950 for production of tar and as firewood. In the 1950s the use decreased because of the introduction of the cheap fossil oil. In the 1970s stump wood became an interesting issue again as a raw material for the pulp industry. Stump lifting has today become a possible source for bioenergy. The objectives with this study were to investigate the productivity of stump lifting and stump extraction, and to analyse the economy.

Syftet med examensarbetet har varit dels att fÄ en bÀttre förstÄelse för flödet, dels att utreda om nÄgot moment vid linan kommer att vara begrÀnsande vid en volymökning. De ÄtgÀrder som krÀvs för att öka produktionen ska identifieras. Vid utförandet av arbetet har bland annat teorier inom statistik och Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) anvÀnts. Arbetet inleddes med att en tidsstudie genomfördes samtidigt som kÀnnedom om linan gavs genom observationer av arbetet.
