To guarantee protection of our drinking water, water catchment protections are established. These are divided into three different zones and in the first zone it is most likely that an activity, such as agriculture, will contaminate the water resource. Hence the activities are strongly regulated or banned. The EU communion is working towards a sustained water quality through several directives; Nitrate Directive, Waterframwork directives and Sustainable use of pesticide directive. The main purpose is to regulate the diffuse pollution from agriculture.This thesis is about how Denmark, Germany and France are working towards a sustainable agriculture within water protection areas.

Pedagogers tolkningar kring kvalitetsarbete

Vårt syfte med detta arbete är att ta reda på pedagogers syn på kvalitet i förskolan, hur pedagoger arbetar med kvalitetsarbete systematiskt samt vilka förutsättningar som finns. Undersökningen är gjord genom kvalitativa intervjuer med åtta pedagoger som idag arbetar inom förskolan. Resultatet som framkommit i undersökningen visar att alla intervjuade pedagoger har en samsyn när det gäller vad begreppet kvalitet i förskolan står för och vi har mött åtta engagerade, duktiga och professionella pedagoger med stora hjärtan som gör allt för att försöka driva en god förskola med barnet i fokus. En viktig förutsättning för att uppnå god kvalitet är att det finns resurser i form av anpassad personaltäthet till barngruppens storlek men också att tid finns avsatt för att utföra systematiskt kvalitetsarbete. Resultatet visar också att pedagogerna har full kunskap om hur arbetet bör göras för att kvalitetsarbeta systematiskt men att mycket fallerar på grund av förutsättningarna..

Ljud eller oljud? : planering av goda ljudmiljöer

In our everyday life we are constantly affected by sound; at home, on our way to and from work, when taking a walk through the woods and when we sleep. In discussions about sound one often talk about noise and to what degree a certain noise disturbs us. The positive qualities of a sound and what sounds contribute to the experience of a good environment is rarely discussed. The question of sound and the quality of sound is given more attention through the expansion of Stockholm, the city is becoming both bigger and more crowded. This raises new questions concerning the planning of the city e.g. should the changes of the sound quality in a place be one of the aspects taken into consideration when planning new buildings, are there ways to improve the sound quality in new building projects? Can we even improve the quality of sound in existing places by simple means? I have chosen to study four different areas in Stockholm; Hötorget, Mariatorget, Berzeliipark and Norrmalmstorg.


Att bli värdigt bemött : En tvärsnittstudie om bemötande på akutvårdsavdelningar ur patientens perspektiv

Previous research and patient complaints to the Swedish Patient Support Committee shows that there is a lack of substance in the patient-nurse relationship. This may suggest that it can be difficult for health care to live up to health-care law which requires it to be of good quality, based on dignity and respect and designed so that the patient is an active participant and can make their own decisions when it comes to their health care. For a better understanding of what a dignified patient-nurse relationship is, this study aims to clarify what the patient values as good patient-nurse relationship and describe how they have experienced the patient-nurse relationship during their stay at an emergency care department. The study is a descriptive cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach, where the population consisted of patients who were cared for at an emergency care department in the County of Västmanland, Sweden during 2007. The sample consisted of 93 patients which were asked to answer a questionnaire.

Resursrelaterad informationshantering i uthyrningsverksamheter : En studie av verksamhetsstödjande IT-system och identifikationsteknologier

The management of assets in organisations today can be a challenging task and optimising their usage is critical to ensure maximum profit. For rental businesses offering tangible products efficient management of movable assets are an essential part of the business strategy. The main purpose of this study is to investigate how asset management and asset information management can be carried out in rental businesses and in what ways information technology can support it. By doing a literature review combined with a case study where three rental businesses and their use of information technology were examined we could identify several important aspects regarding asset information management. The results we have found is that rental businesses with a high degree of digitization in existing asset information management systems are able to rationalize existing work processes, which in some ways changes the roles of employees.

Humankapital blir en allt viktigare resurs för företag då utvecklingen går mot en mer kunskapsorienterad ekonomi. Medarbetares kunskap, motivation och förmåga kan därför, i linje med utvecklingen, skapa konkurrensfördelar för organisationer. Talent Management har utvecklats för att möta förändrade krav på arbetsmarknaden samt för att ta tillvara på medarbetarnas förmågor. Syftet med denna studie var att belysa hur tre företag i en kunskapsintensiv bransch, revisionsbranschen, praktiserar Talent Management samt analysera och förklara vad som format dess praktik. För att uppfylla syftet har studien haft ett deduktivt angreppssätt där tidigare teorier analyserats mot studiens empiriska information.

Heartwood has always been a desirable part of the tree, due to it?s superior decay qualities com-pared to the sapwood. How the formation of heartwood works has been known for a long time, but which factors that initiates and stimulates the production are poorly understood. This case study presents the results of a study in which silvicultural treatments and site properties had a key position as factors to the formation of heartwood. According to the hypothesis the amount of sapwood is directly controlled by the size of the crown.

Sjuksköterskors uppfattning av elektronisk dokumentation avseende tidsåtgång, teknik och vårdkvalitet

Documentation in electronic journals is perceived as time consuming and sometimes technically difficult to handle, but also leads to an improved quality of care. Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate nurses' perceptions of documentation with a focus on timing, technique and quality of care and whether any differences in these perceptions were dependent on age. Method: Quantitative descriptive cross-sectional study in the survey form, 28 nurses at a university hospital in central Sweden participated in the study. Regression analysis was performed with Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. Results: Electronic documentation takes 30 to 60 minutes for most nurses and half of them considered it a reasonable time.

Etablera, bevara och utveckla kundrelationer - En studie av Sydkraft Bredband

I sitt val av marknadsföringsstrategi ställs ett företag inför två grundläggande strategiska alternativ; att verka för att värva nya kunder eller verka för att behålla befintliga kunder. Till följd av en hårdande konkurrens på många marknader har den förstnämnda strategin kommit att bli mindre effektiv och lönsam. Strategin att etablera, bevara och utveckla kundrelationer har därmed kommit att få allt större utrymme i många företags marknadsstrategier. Utifrån den teori som vi tagit del av, kan vi konstatera att det finns två huvudsakliga strategier för ett företag att etablera, bevara och utveckla kundrelationer, dels genom att skapa kundtillfredsställlese och dels genom att etablera bytesbarriärer i relationen. Vi kan i uppsatsen konstatera att strategin att verka för kundtillfredsställelse sannolikt kommer vara den mest framgångsrika strategin för ett tjänsteföretag som Sydkraft Bredband, i strävan efter att bygga upp långvariga kundrelationer.

The number of new estate agent offices is increasing yearly and each year many hundred new estate agents graduate. The comparing of estate agents by sellers has perhaps been most common in larger cities, but as competition has increased even in smaller towns we experience that it has become a common phenomenon even there. We both come from a small town but are not afraid of the idea of moving to a larger city as newly qualified estate agents. We ask ourselves, which are the determining factors in the choice of a estate agent in a large city as opposed to a small town? Can we see any differences? The purpose with this essay is to give us added knowledge about which factors private persons consider to be important in their choice of an estate agent when selling a house.The body of information is based on two parallel surveys, one in Hudiksvall and one in Stockholm, together with interviews of people in this line of business.
