This paper covers a study of the Swedish charging market for electric vehicles from both the perspective of stakeholders and car owners. By interviewing representatives of four key stakeholders on the market; commercial parkings, malls, service stations and working places, data regarding their business models of today is examined. At present electricity is provided for free, but all stakeholder point out that this business model is not sustainable in the long run. The result of the interviews shows that electricity won?t be offered for free in the future ? the question is which factors affect how long it will take for the different stakeholders to find a suitable business model.

The purpose of this master thesis is to map and analyze the appropriate valuation approaches used for Intellectual Property rights and develope a model for valuing patents. This project has been executed on behalf of Electrolux?s Group Intellectual Property and is intended to be used for managerial purposes.Project limitations include patents that doesent concern technology oriented products and services, real option methods, financial forecasts, decisions concerning patents taken by the R&D division, patent applications in general and taking into account unexpected future management decisions regarding patents.Electrolux?s Intellextual Property team applies, manages and protects the groups Intellectual Property rights including patents, designs and trademarks. With an increased globalization and the rise of emerging markets, incentives have increased further to protect and safeguard the group?s innovations.Mainly there are three different valuations approaches for valuing intellectual property rights, these include the income based approach, cost base approach and market based approach.

Problem: ICA arbetar med lojalitetsprogram och detta för att skapa långa och hållbara relationer till sina kunder. Företaget visar förståelse för att det inte räcker att enbart sälja produkter utan det krävs en relation till dess kunder. ICA skapade 2008 ett koncept vid namn ?Mina varor? vilket bygger på att ICA ger riktade erbjudanden till sina kunder utefter dennes tidigare inköpsbeteende. Vid lanseringen av ?Mina varor? riktades stor kritik mot ICA och dess sätt att hantera kundernas personliga integritet och att erbjudandena inte stämde överens med vad kunderna handlade.

Bakgrund: Anestesi- och operationssjuksköterskor arbetar i en komplex miljö. För att öka effektiviteten infördes ett effektivitetssalskoncept på en klinik. Flera sätt att öka effektiviteten beskrivs i litteraturen, få studier har dock berört sjuksköterskornas upplevelser av att arbeta enligt liknande koncept.Syftet: Var att undersöka hur anestesi- och operationssjuksköterskor upplevde det perioperativa omvårdnadsarbetet när det sker inom effektivitetssalskonceptets ramar.Metod: En kvalitativ induktiv pilotstudie genomfördes, ett ändamålsenligt urval användes och fyra stycken specialistsjuksköterskor deltog i studien. Enskilda intervjuer genomfördes med öppna frågor. Data analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Resultat: Upplevelsen av omvårdnadsarbetet när det skedde enligt effektivitetssalskonceptet var behäftat med känslor av tillfredsställelse och glädje, bland annat över att operationsköerna kortades av.

Syftet har varit att i en förstudie åt BRIO ta fram ett koncept till en ny barnvagn. Detta konceptska ligga till grund för fortsatt utvecklingsarbete hos företaget. Den nya barnvagnen, sombenämns resebarnvagn, ska vara ett komplement till BRIO:s nuvarande sortiment ?To Go?.Vagnen ska vara enAllt i ett-vagn och ska således vara brukbar i flera skeden av ett barns förstauppväxtår. Barnvagnen ska vara konkurrenskraftig på en internationell marknad och attraktiv fören målgrupp som kallas "On The Go Parent".Målet för konstruktionen var att den skulle uppfylla krav på minimal vikt (hela barnvagnenska väga under 8 kg), minimal volym (hopfällt läge ska vagnen ha dimensionerna 550 x 400 x200 mm) och färre komponenter (färre än 100 stycken).

This essay examines computer and video games and their capacity of being useful in teaching sessions. Focus is being put at a possible pedagogical potential and how it is being expressed in games mechanics. To get answers on these subjects? studies by Professor James Paul Gee and Jesse Schell is used together in creating a model for analysis. With this model together with a narrative analysis this essay hopes to give clarifications on if a pedagogical potential is present and if so, how it is being expressed.Studies in this paper shows that a pedagogical potential is overall present in used material.

Nötcenter Viken is a Swedish nucleus herd for dairy cattle. The goal for the farm is to select suitable mothers for the next top generation of bulls. Today the selection for udder health is based on a pedigree index and phenotype data. The pedigree index is based on the cow?s father and grandfathers breeding values.

What affects Hiv in South Africa's different provinces? This thesis examines if education, unemployment rate, GDP per capita, and the literacy rate has any relationship with the Hiv prevalence. This is analyzed using theory and data in the form of a simple microeconomic model and an econometric regression analysis based on cross sectional data of the provinces of South Africa. The regression analysis shows that unemployment rate and education have significant effects of the Hiv prevalence in South Africa. The microeconomic model in the thesis indicates that when education is higher, individuals are more aware that the probability of being infected by Hiv is higher when the Hiv prevalence is high.

The purpose of this thesis for Sapa Heat Transfer is to examine a furnace in which aluminium is pre-heated before hot rolling. The project is modeled in a computer environment in which the air flow in the furnace and the heat transfer to the aluminium solids are included. The computer environment and its governing equations, as well as boundary conditions and generalizations, are presented and explained.The simulations are based on two models. The first model has an asymmetric solid placement, which is how it looks in today's ovens. It is validated against collected data.

SammanfattningSyfteSyftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur Korpen arbetar med hälsodiplomeringen samt arbetsplatsers erfarenhet av insatsen.Frågeställningarna var följande:1. Vad innebär hälsodiplomeringen i teorin samt praktiskt för en arbetsplats?2. Varför väljer arbetsplatser just hälsodiplomeringen ur marknadens stora utbud inom friskvård?3.

Examensarbetet har bedrivits vid Tekniska Högskolan i Jönköping och i samarbete med fallföretaget Solutions for Tomorrow AB. Arbetet har utformats efter ett syfte; att utveckla ett produktkoncept där alternativa material och tillverkningsmetoder leder till kostnadsbesparingar. Syftet har sedan brutits ned till fyra frågeställningar som arbetet kretsar kring. Två frågeställningar behandlar redan framtagna koncept och två rör ekonomiska aspekter för nya projekt. För att besvara frågeställningarna är arbetet utformat som en konceptstudie där hela utvecklingsprocessen har genomförts.

Nynas produces bitumen at two refineries in Sweden. The bitumen is shipped to seven depots along the swedish coast line, and from the depots special trucks handle the transportation to customers. Recently Nynas has transformed its supply chain and closed down a few depots. At the moment the company is considering a further reduction of the number of depots. In connection to these discussions an analyse of the companys distributionsystem and of possible changes is required.

The aim of this study is to explore hiphop music as an aspect of youth socialization and the relationship between music creation and identity. The study is conducted through five semi- structured qualitative individual interviews. Our theoretical starting points are Putnam?s (2000) bridging and bonding social capital symbolic interactionism. We also have used a model of learning presented by Fornäs, Lindberg and Sernhedes (1989).

Projektet i denna rapport har fokuserat på hur man kan förbättra den visuella och taktila upplevelsen av digitala slagverk. Målet var att utveckla en digital version av moderna percussionisters shakers, som tilltalar användarna inte bara med sina funktioner och digitala möjligheter utan även som ett musikinstrument.Processen och utveckling av instrumentimagen för digital percussion kan appliceras på alla digitala instrument, men resultatet av detta projekt illustreras genom ett koncept på en digital shaker..

This thesis aims to investigate if there are any differences in the value relevance of yearly earnings announcements before (2000-2004) and after (2005-2009) IFRS were implemented for listed companies in the European Union. To assess the value relevance of earnings, an earnings response coefficient (ERC) is estimated using a linear OLS-regression model. The regression model uses accounting earnings per share as the explaining variable, with the corresponding return starting from (but not including) the previous year's earnings announcement date, ending at (and including) the current earnings announcement date, as the dependent variable. This study finds that there is no statistically significant difference between the estimated ERCs for the two periods. Although no statistically significant difference is found, data shows that the R2-values, which measure the explanatory power of the regressions, are higher for the period before IFRS.
