Detta examensarbete har gått ut på att finna en ny konstruktionslösning på uttlopps-diffusorns inloppsrör på gasturbin SGT-800. Arbetet har utförts på Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB i Finspång på avdelning RCTD (gasturbinkonstruktion).Målet med projektet har varit att ta fram en konstruktionslösning som underlättar för svetsmontörerna på site när det gäller installation av inloppsrören, samt reducerar monteringstiden. Målet har även varit att ta fram en kostnadsjämförelse för totalkostnaden mellan den nya och originalkonstruktionen.Den metodik som har använts till detta arbete är Voice of the customer samt Systematisk konceptutveckling som baseras på bl.a. Vladimir Hubkas princip. Även original-konstruktionen har undersökts via ritningar och bilder tagna från tidigare sitemontage.Originalkonstruktionen skickas idag till site omonterad tillsammans med utlopps-diffusorn direkt från SIT AB:s underleverantör KSG AB i Surte för att sedan monteras och svetsas fast på site.

This thesis examines how a company can get an effective, high quality, maintenance of their computerized systems. After literary studies concerning the life cycle activity Maintenance we have studied how the maintenance at the department IT Supply of IKEA IT AB in Älmhult is carried out. What steps and measures in the analyzing of results of changes are carried out and if they have predefined processes for changes. Based on the facts we found most important in our literary studies we have created a model and theoretically applied this to the maintenance of a specific system to see what they can work with to further improve the quality and efficiency in their maintenance. The basis for our thesis is literary studies and the collected material has been used as a foundation for the research at the company, which was carried out through interviews. This thesis is based on the question: ?How do the lack of a model for maintenance and the lack of orientation affect the maintenance in a company??.

I svenska polisfordon används idag ett koncept där en av poliserna i en patrull alltid färdas i baksätet tillsammans med den frihetsberövade under en transport. Flera invändningar mot detta arbetssätt har gjorts eftersom det förekommit incidenter där poliser skadats av den frihetsberövade. Syftet med rapporten var att undersöka om det är möjligt att använda en fast monterad vägg mellan förare och passagerare i svenska polisfordon vid transport av frihetsberövade personer. Rapporten begränsades genom att endast fokusera på de personbilstillverkare som Rikspolisstyrelsen har avtal med samt att delvis bortse från komplexa tekniska frågeställningar. Kvalitativa intervjuer gjordes med representanter från Polisförbundet, Rikspolisstyrelsen samt med kontaktpersoner från leverantörer av polisfordon.

Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) is a way to graphically draw a diagram of a business process. A BPMN diagram consists of several so-called flow objects. These are interconnected in the graph through sequence  flows. BPMN models are merely graphical representations of business process and there is a need to simulate these diagrams for different purposes. The simulation that now is available for BPMN is that the model is evaluated by checking if it is correct.

I detta examensarbete behandlas investeringsalternativ för småskalig vattenkraft. Arbetet som riktar sig mot Skellefteå Kraft AB:s anläggningar, har således gåtts igenom, vartefter kandidater lämpliga för en reinvestering tagits fram med passande tekniker. Vidare nämns om dessa tekniker är lämpliga för minskning av förlusterna vid storskaliga utskov. De småskaliga anläggningarna är fördelade på två åar, Rickleån och Åman. I vardera finns två kraftverk som behandlas i detta arbete, Fredriksfors och Sågforsen i Rickleån, samt Åman övre och nedre i Åman.

Förslag till ombyggnad av Hushållsporslinsfabriken i Gustavsberg till ett kulturhus. I arbetet ligger tonvikten på ett "Allt-är-möjligt-hus", en upplevelsebaserad och pedagogisk verksamhet som bygger på Cirkus Cirkörs koncept..

Many new electronic publication systems have arisen in the past few years, one of them is the weblog. In 1999 there were 23 weblogs, today there are millions thus a need for organisation has appeared, both special metadata and subject indexes have been invented and created. Due to the large amount of the latter we have in this thesis decided to concentrate on those close by the Scandinavian weblogindexes. A more international perspective would however have been possible, as very little is written on the topic. We have looked at these selected weblogindexes, trying to determinate whether they agree with F.

To start a company on the Internet is something that has appealed a lot of people during the last couple of years. Some of the companies have succeeded in their struggle but a lot of companies have failed to live out their ambition. This paper deals with the concept of e-commerce and aims to study whether or not the companies that has succeeded has made use of business models and what other factors that is important that you wont find in any written theory.The paper also aims to study the concept of business models and what a business model consists of. To be able to do this research we have interviewed three different companies that are all active in e-commerce and have survived for at least three years. Two of the companies are classical web shops that sell products to their customers and the last one is a site with articles about hardware and IT business in general.

This master thesis is a study of the Swedish Lending Centre for immigrant literature (ILC), which opened in 1991. The purpose of the thesis is to examine problems and possibilities in the organization of ILC, which has a number of powerful stakeholders. In this study focus has been on the development of the organization, and especially on the planning of the conversion of the non-public Lending Centre to a library open to public (to be called the International Library in Stockholm) that will be inaugurated in May 2000. ILC is governmentally financed, but incorporated in the organization of the public library in Stockholm. Other stakeholders, except the Swedish Government and Stockholm City, are the County of Stockholm, the staff of ILC, and the public libraries that use the Centre's long-distance-lending facilities.

Företaget visar förståelse för att det inte räcker att enbart sälja produkter utan det krävs en relation till dess kunder. ICA skapade 2008 ett koncept vid namn ?Mina varor? vilket bygger på att ICA ger riktade erbjudanden till sina kunder utefter dennes tidigare inköpsbeteende. Vid lanseringen av ?Mina varor? riktades stor kritik mot ICA och dess sätt att hantera kundernas personliga integritet och att erbjudandena inte stämde överens med vad kunderna handlade.

The aim of this thesis is, from a business perspective, to examine how the pharmacy chain Medstop is working with their positioning in order to achieve competitiveness in the re-regulated pharmacy market. This is studied through a theoretical framework that demonstrates five forces that affects the competitiveness in an industry, the five-force model by Michael Porter.The thesis is a qualitative case study where data collection was done through interviews, literature, articles, websites and internal information from Medstop. The data was then complied into the theoretical perspective the authors have chosen for this paper, the five-force model by Michael Porter. This model was chosen because it gives a broad description of the competition a company faces by describing five different forces that affect the competition within a branch. The fact was collected on the basis of the marketing strategy positioning, and the essay is written from a business perspective.Our cunclusions are that the pharmacy chain Medstop are in their initial positioning and has chosen to position itself on the basis of their core values; credibility, safety and security.

The wild boar Sus scrofa population in Sweden has increased rapidly in the last decades which has led to conflicts among stakeholders, for example due to crop damages in agriculture. Thus, there is an urgent need of quantified goals and effective strategies for wild boar management. To develop such strategies, knowledge on population dynamics is fundamental. In this study a deterministic matrix model was used to estimate population growth, based on previously published data. The exponential growth rate for a wild boar population was calculated to 1.48.

The main aim of my research essay is to examine two congregations, one in Sweden and one in Democratic Republic of Congo, how theology and the life in the church shape the cultural context. The analysis uses semi-structured interviews of two pastors responsible for organizing the Easter celebration in their churches. The interviews serve the purpose to reveal how they apply theology in their context, how they interpret the Easter celebration liturgically in relation to the early church and how they perceive the cultural development in the congregations Easter celebration 2010-11. To give complementary insights to the interviews I use computer-aided interviews with members of the congregations. The methodological approach is based on a study of contextual theological theories, Easter traditions in the early church, Easter theologies and then applying these theories in the interviews.

This study is about an ongoing project in the northern parts of Sweden. Quattro Helix is used as a model for the interaction between four institutional members of the society, in purpose of challenging existing social structures and achieveing community development. The aim is to increase the knowledge about Quattro Helix-model as an approaching method to face the problems in the society through cooperation between Civil society, state, academy and industry. Interviews with eight project members were used as the data-collecting method to capture the perceptions about the project constellations. Information was gathered from two representatives from each of the four actors.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to examine how Jane Austens Pride and Prejudice, first published in 1813, was established in different literary orbits after the transformation to the television medium in 1995. I also want to find out what this adaptation meant for the popularity of Jane Austen, the circulation of her works and the rebirth of her authorship. It has furthermore been of interest to discuss the reasons why Jane Austen and her works became so popular. Questions posed in the study are: What has the 1995 production of Pride and Prejudice meant for the spreading of Jane Austens literary work and for the rebirth of her authorship? How has Pride and Prejudice moved between the literary orbits after it became a television-serial in 1995? Why did the circulation get the character it got in the 1990s? In order to find feasible answers to these questions I have used Hans Hertels model of the five literary orbits as theoretical starting point.
