The main purpose is to illuminate how a company links certain values to its brand in an effort to achieve a competitive position. We have done this by studying the government owned company Svenska Spel and its entrance on the netpokermarket. With Corporate Social Responsibility as a guidance for the company they wanted to offer Swedish gamblers an alternative to the, often morally dubious, international actors. Our thesis has taken an internal (corporate) as well as an external (consumer) perspective on the result of this strive. Our conclusions are that although Svenska Spel is successfully integrating social responsibility into their netpokerbusiness, they are facing a difficulty in making the consumer fully appreciate it.

The aim of this study is to examine the investment decision process for investments that arise due to strategic changes and are of strategic importance to the company. At the foundation of this study is the previous research in this area, done by King (1975) and Bower (1970), which examines the investment process on a more generic level. At the core is the investment decision process pertaining to Projekt X, an investment performed by NordiCorp. Having conducted a case study including six interviews with employees from various parts of the organization, combined with a large number of internal documents, the process regarding the investment decision was carefully illuminated. The results show that in many regards, this process follows the more generic investment process.

This diploma work, with the title Represent and Consume the Land ?I drove following the picture of a spruce through Sweden, is presented as a film and an essay and the aim is to explore the perception of an individual with the film as the medium. To reach this, it is necessary to destabilize my own reality, to explore myself at the same time as I study landscapes and representations of landscapes. The diploma work focus on representations of landscapes of Sweden, external pictures and internal images. The picture is a very strong medium that holds and comunicate myths, about the landscape and about the nation.

Att det finns flera olika metoder är oftast svårt att veta för den som inte är insatt. Today's communication solution between the vehicle and trailer is one many see as anon-viable solution, then breakdowns on both the lights and cables are common. Now, anew innovation enters the market, a system that can transmit wireless control signalsbetween the vehicle and trailer.Parvus and Zap, the two solutions that the projekt group has come up with during thisthesis work carried out over the last year on Utvecklingsingenjörsprogrammet.Technologists Peter Jägevall and Christopher Åberg has developed this project on theirown. The group has developed various concepts and chosen to work on, two of them.The project has resulted in this report and a prototypeThe solution that the group has developed is a wireless communication between vehicleand trailer. The project team has developed new power-efficient LED lighting fixtures inorder to implement an internal power source in the trailer. The result of this has becomea maintenance-free and wireless product to trailers.

Syftet med denna studie var att belysa unga människors tankar om begreppet attraktivt arbete rent generellt och vad ett attraktivt arbete inom äldreomsorgen innefattar. Vad kännetecknar ett attraktivt arbete och anses äldreomsorgen uppfylla dessa krav på vad ett attraktivt arbete innehåller. Intervjuer med omvårdnadspersonal från hemtjänst och äldreboenden har genomförts. Studien innefattar även intervjuer med gymnasieelever från omvårdnadsprogrammet och belyser deras förväntningar och erfarenheter på ett arbete inom äldreomsorgen. Studien visar att ett arbete inom äldreomsorgen är ett arbete som anses bra men att vissa förbättringar ändå är nödvändiga för att säkerställa framtidens personalförsörjning.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka huruvida de nya reglerna angående ränteavdragsbegränsningar är förenliga med EG-fördragets fria etableringsrätt och om reglerna inte anses vara det - huruvida en sådan inskränkning kan rättfärdigas.De nya reglerna avser en begränsning av avdragsrätten för ränteutgifter och gäller vid räntebetalningar mellan företag i intressegemenskap. Avdrag för ränteutgifter får göras under förutsättning att den inkomst som motsvarar ränteutgiften skulle ha beskattats med en skattesats som uppgår till minst tio procent (tio-procentsregeln) enligt lagstiftningen i den stat där det företag i intressegemenskapen som faktiskt har rätt till ränteinkomsterna hör hemma, om företaget bara skulle ha haft den inkomsten. Avdrag får även göras för ränteutgifter i de fall såväl förvärvet som den skuld som ligger till grund för ränteutgifterna är huvudsakligen affärsmässigt motiverade. Regeln är ett alternativ till tio-procentregeln och gäller därmed även i de fall ränteinkomsten inte beskattas med minst tio procent. Med ordet huvudsakligen avses 75 procent eller mer.De svenska reglerna om ränteavdrag är tillämpliga på dotterbolag med både inhemska och utländska moderbolag.

I denna rapport presenteras utveckling och prototyptillverkning av ramen och tiltfunktionen till en tiltbar reverse trike. En reverse trike är ett fordon med ett bakhjul och två framhjul. Bakhjulet är det drivande hjulet medan de två framhjulen är de styrande.Ett personligt intresse har alltid funnits för cyklar och cykelliknande fordon med fler än två hjul. I stort sett samtliga cyklar av den typen som finns kommersiellt tillgängliga idag använder sig utav en stel ram med begränsad fjädring på respektive hjul. Problemet med dessa är att de inte ger samma inlevelse vid färd som exempelvis en vanlig tvåhjulig cykel eller en motorcykel där fordonet kan lutas vid kurvtagning för att bättre utnyttja vikt och tyngdpunkt för att inte tippa.

Syftet med studien är att med hjälp av observationer och intervjuer undersöka hur Södra Förstadsgatan i Malmö påverkas av en omläggning från trafikerad väg till gågata. Undersökningen svarar på vad en gågata skulle innebära för brukarna längs gatan. Det visar sig att trafikmiljön är dålig både för gång- och cykeltrafikanter, men även för näringsidkarna. Dock är näringsidkarna oroliga för hur försäljningen ska gå om bilar inte kan köra längs gatan. Utifrån Gehls kvalitetskriterier observeras gatan och det framkommer att kvaliteterna brister på flera punkter.

The aim of this study was to illuminate how social workers in social services work with the social phenomenon, homelessness in two municipalities. The study is based on qualitative semi-structured interviews with interviewees from a department of social services. Our theories that we used was resistant inequality, structural discrimination, exclusion, empowerment and representation. After compilation of our empirical our conclusions are that homelessness is a complex phenomenon. Social workers handles homelessness based on client?s needs and the work is individualized.

Denna uppsats handlar om elevers attityd till ämnet matematik. Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka om elevers attityd till matematik förändras vid införande av mer konkret material i form av lek och spel i undervisningen. Undersökningen genomfördes i årskurs tre och pågick under en period av fem veckor. Enkäter och observationer har legat till grund för undersökningen. Målet var att ge eleverna möjligheten att arbeta mer praktiskt.

Those who manage to find ways to improve their processes are often the companies that have the greatest chance of becoming a winning player in the market. BIM is a new method that can reduce the internal costs while increasing communications between different parties. However there is disagreement about what BIM is and its purpose.

When Swedish authorities are to purchase or rent something, public procurement is used as a means to an end. Authorities as well as suppliers are subjects to the fact that Swedish law regarding public procurement regulates the form of procurement in one set of particular regulations (LOU) and the form of contracts in another set of general regulations (AvtL). Suppliers and purchasing authorities close a contract regarding the subject of procurement and the law of public procurement regulates when such a contract can be closed, simultaneously the law of contracts regulates when parties are held to contracts and when contracts are to be rescinded. I investigate in this essay what these two types of regulations can result in for the contracting parties. As it is today agreements that have been entered into wrongfully still are valid, even if a court of law nullifies the procurement and sentences the purchasing authority to make a new public procurement.

Today we see a fast developing of the market for mobile communication, both in an increased and changed mobile use, but also in the development of new technologies and services. Much that can be performed on Internet/Intranet today with a PC will in some years also be possible to do with a mobile terminal. Mobile Internet will probable take place when new technologies as GPRS, EDGE and UMTS will be in use. These technologies in combination with the development of new terminals and services will bring new capabilities for both companies and private users. This report describes how a portal should be designed in order to meet the needs on the market.

The securities market was to undergo a major change with the entry of MiFID I in November 2007. EU´s establishment if the directive sets high standards for investment firms to establish internal guidelines in accordance with MiFID I. As right now, the securities market is facing further change with the proposal for MiFID II.MiFID II seeks to overcome MiFID I´s shown deficiencies. The greatest need for change are the rules that secure investor protection, with specific focus on regulation on information service from investment firms to customers. This essay deals with the rules on information service enacted in MiFID I compared to the changes presented in MiFID II to investigate whether the changes could strengthen investor protection as desired.MiFID II is a more detailed framework than its precursor.
