I dagens mediesamhälle finns information tillgänglig dygnet runt, och olika trenddieter ges därigenom utrymme att påverka ungdomar, en av de grupper som är mest mottagliga förförändring. Övervikt och fetma bland barn och ungdomar har ökat stadigt sedan 80- talet. I samband med befolkningens ökade kroppsvikt uppkommer även olika dieter för viktminskning. En av dessa är dieten LCHF, som har blivit framträdande i hälsodiskussioner de senaste åren.Syftet med denna studie var därför att belysa svenska gymnasieelevers inställning till kost i allmänhet och dieten LCHF i synnerhet. Utöver detta avsåg studien även att skapa en översiktlig uppfattning om gymnasieelevernas träningsvanor och kostvanor.En enkät skapades inom det aktuella området, och den besvarades av 215 gymnasieelever i tre större svenska städer.Resultaten visade att eleverna hade en god förståelse för kostens påverkan på hälsan.

In the beginning of the 1860s, an important railway was built between Malmö and Stockholm. The railway became one of the most important projects that would influence the entire southern Sweden. This paper deals with hill-forts located on and directly south of Selaön, in the center of Mälardalen, Södermanland, dated to the late roman period and the migration period. Of special interest is differences and similarities between the forts when it comes to their morphology and the hills where they were built. BAKGRUND: Folsyra och järn är två viktiga ämnen som under graviditeten har olika betydelser dels för mamman och dels för fostret. Brister på dessa ämnen kan således leda till skador av olika slag och därför rekommenderas ofta kosttillskott till gravida kvinnor. Kvinnornas matvanor kan påverka om de får i sig tillräcklig mängd av dessa ämnen.SYFTE: Syftet med denna studie var att se hur gravida förhåller sig till att ha en hälsosam kost under graviditeten samt inställningen till kosttillskott med järn och folsyra. Studien syftade till att undersöka eventuella hinder samt se användningen av järn och folsyra.METOD: Studien är av kvantitativ typ med en enkät som inför denna undersökning har modifierats, Health and Taste Attitude Scale. Enkäten består av 7 frågor och 21 påståenden varav 6 st är från HTAS och resterande tillagda.

Horse keeping is gaining an increasing interest in Sweden. During 2004 to 2010 the number of horses increased with 10 - 20 %, and was estimated to be 362 700 in 2010. Julmyra Horse Center (JHC), situated in Heby municipality, is a gated community for people sharing a large interest for horses and a vision of a sustainable horse management has been formulated. This study evaluates how the horse keeping of today at JHC, and how an expansion of the horse keeping may affect the risk of enhanced phosphorus load to the nearby lake system Vansjön ? Nordsjön.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka öppen förskola som arena för ett hälsofrämjande arbete. Fokus var på de möjligheter och begränsningar som personalen upplevde i sitt arbete utifrån det hälsoprogram som tillämpades av dem. Studien var ett uppdrag från Salutsatsningen vid Västerbottens läns landsting. Metoden var en kvalitativ ansats och fem intervjuer genomfördes med personal inom öppen förskola i Västerbottens län. Intervjuerna utgick från de kriterier som fungerade som riktlinjer för arbetet.

The local politicians in Sweden are responsible for a great deal of the welfare system why one would assume that there are a lot of demands put on them - demands for certain skills or a certain level of competence. I have in this study tried to find out how the demands on the local representatives concerning the demands for competence and the actual level of competence among the politicians are affecting the local politics. This was done through investigating how the local politicians are perceiving their level of competence and the demands put on them, but also how the employees are perceiving the demands and the level of competence put on the politicians. The study was made in the municipality of Gislaved in Southern Sweden. I was using both quantitative method (an opinion poll among the politicians and employees in the municipality) and qualitative method (interviews with three politicians and three employees and literature studies).In order to investigate the demands for competence I split the concept into ?soft? competence (socially and emotionally based skills), and ?hard? competence (skills based on knowledge, education and experience).
