This work is a study, conducted by interviews, of how teachers evaluate the concepts of inclusion and integration. The aim of this work is to obtain views on the possible differences between teachers' own definitions and the previous research definitions. The earlier published research which was read during this work, together with the three interviews which were conducted is the basis for the study. I've done three interviews in which two of the people interviewed are active teachers and the third who works as an assistant headmaster at a school located in a suburb of Stockholm. The interviewed teachers have been working for different periods in the school which gave me the opportunity to highlight differences between teachers definitions depending upon the experience they had.

A logical cause of migration is of course immigrants which is a topic always creating discussions. When arriving in a new country a process of integration with the goal to adapt to the environment is started. This study will explore the need for integration and seeks to examine the connection between population composition and radical right opinions.To fulfill the aim, a multivariate regression analysis is done on aggregated level in Sweden with statistics concerning the year of 2010. The relation between ethnic composition and voters support for the Swedish radical right party Sverigedemokraterna is studied as well as integration as an explanatory intermediate factor operationalized through unemployment, financial assistance and trust.The results of the study indicate a positive connection between immigrants from EU/EFTA and the voter support for Sverigedemokraterna. A negative relation is identified between trust and the voter support for Sverigedemokraterna.

The purpose of my essay is to see how teachers are working to integrate the two subjects Art and Swedish in their teaching, and to see how this integration is made. What do teachers think about subject-integration? What are the positive effects of it? Are there any difficulties involved? Do the teachers prioritize cooperation with other subjects?To answer my questions I have interviewed eight teachers, four of them in upper secondary school and four in lower secondary school. I have also studied literature about subject-integration and children?s learning, curriculum?s and syllabi in the subjects of Art and Swedish.The results of my study show that the interviewed teachers are positive when it comes to integrating Art and Swedish and other subjects.

Within the political science research it is common to examine the effects on the national parliaments caused by European integration. In this Bachelor Thesis the aim is instead to show what involvement of the national parliaments in the European Union implicates to the European integration process.The object of examination is the introduction of the parliaments as supervisors of draft legislative acts, this is also known as ?the Early Warning Mechanism?, through the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty. An analysis of answers from the national parliaments in the tests of three pilot cases, conducted by the COSAC, is made with help of Institutional theory and an Europeanization perspective.The main findings show that the mechanism of early warning probably will not become an obstacle for continued European integration, but it could slow down the process in some areas. Most probably though is that the mechanism forces the national parliaments to adapt and to be better equipped to react at events taking place at the European level.

In contemporary Sweden political participation among foreign-born Swedes is viewed as low and it is well known that foreign-born individuals do not use their voting rights to the same extent as the general population. At the same time there are numerous ethnic associations around the country who work with various activities involving political, democratic and integration issues. This study aims to study how four members of a Somali association regard, relate to and work with politics, democracy and integration. The study is based on these four people, but also on their relationship with authorities and other agencies in the community. The conclusion of this study shows in brief that the desire to participate politically is great, but that democracy and politics is accessible to all, depending on the level of language skills and what political knowledge the individual has.

Den höga utvecklingstakten i lÀkemedelsbranschen har inneburit en rad fusioner och företagsuppköp med stora pÄfrestningar pÄ personalen som följd. I ett sÄdant lÀge Àr det viktigt med en effektiv tvÄvÀgskommunikation mellan företagsledning och personal. Syftet med denna uppsats Àr dÀrför att studera hur viktig kommunikationen mellan ledning och personal har varit för integrationen mellan svenska Pfizer Consumer Healthcare och McNeil Sverige AB. Det intressanta med denna integration Àr att en stor organisation uppgÄr i en mindre, vilket sker sÀllan. Genom att studera detta kan förstÄelsen för vikten av kommunikationsprocesser breddas.

Idag Àr integration ett aktuellt Àmne och berör mÄnga mÀnniskor i samhÀllet, inte minst pÄ grund av globaliseringen som pÄgÄr. Med integration menas att alla ska ha samma rÀttigheter och skyldigheter i samhÀllet och dÀrmed behandlas lika, oavsett vilken hÀrkomst man tillhör, vilken socioekonomisk status man har eller vilket kön man tillhör etcetera. Motsatsen till och vad som motverkar integration Àr segregation. Man kan sÀga att de bÄda benÀmningarna Àr beroende av varandra. Utan segregation sÄ kan man inte tala om nÄgon integration, och framför allt inte arbeta mot en sÄdan eftersom det i sÄ fall inte finns identifierbara grupper att integrera med varandra. Integration Àr ett komplext Àmne och bör preciseras i sitt sammanhang för att ordet skall ha nÄgon betydelse. I politiken anvÀnds ordet flitigt, ofta utan att preciseras och dÀrmed blir politikernas ord ganska diffusa. Detta skapar problem i till exempel kommunernas arbete för integration.

ABSTRACT This research explores how the Work Integration Center (AIC) supports unemployed immigrants in acquiring jobs and how the practical work helps immigrants in entering the labour market. It employs qualitative research approach through semi-structured interviews staff members at AIC and municipal commissioners of education and labour market in the municipality of Malmö. Its aim is to examine how governmental setup guidelines were represented in the practical work. These guiding principles of the organization are presented at the top of municipality. The findings suggest that even if the staff has no knowledge of the official measures of the integration plans, they have implemented the aims and criteria in their work with the immigrants.

The purpose of this essay was to examine the role of the acquisition of the Swedish language for integration of adult immigrants given by the seven parties currently in the parliament and other players on the field. The questions were meant to bring light upon the arguments used by the different players concerning the role of the Swedish language, to enlighten which discourses that are constructed, and the contradictions that exist between these. We parted from a postmodern position and used social constructionism to back up our method and theory of analysis; discourse theory. The results revealed three different discourses concerning the role of the Swedish language in the integration process; the liberal discourse, the discrimination discourse and the social democratic discourse. The liberal discourse claims that immigrants have a responsibility to learn Swedish to be able to achieve employment and to provide for themselves.

The present study discusses the political integration of immigrants in local government in the muncipality of VÀxjö from 1971 to 1991 in the form of representation. The main data source consists of lists of people holding local commissions of trust in the various boards and committés appointed by the municipality council, as well as in the council itself. These data are then compared to population statistics from Statistics Sweden. Main findings of the study are that immigrants are insufficiently represented in relation to their proportion of the population. It is suggested that this is a result of structural discrimination and possibly insufficient socialisation..

Syftet med denna studie Àr att belysa sprÄkets betydelse vid integrering av nyanlÀnda invandrarelever. Jag har undersök hur vida eleverna uppfattar sitt mottagande i den svenska skolan och hur eller om lÀrare kartlÀgger elevens sprÄk- och kunskapsutveckling. Resultaten Àr baserade pÄ information frÄn personintervjuer och hur denna information korrelerar med min valda teori. Jag anvÀnde ett teoretiskt ramverk av Lev Semjonovitj Vygotskij som Àr en erkÀnd pedagogisk teoretiker. Resultaten av min studie visar att svaren frÄn mina intervjuer stÀmmer vÀl överens med min valda teori: att omgivning och utveckling gÄr hand i hand.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka socialarbetares förstÄelse av ensamkommande barns integration i det svenska samhÀllet och de tillvÀgagÄngssÀtt olika aktörer, dÀribland socialarbetare, har nÀr de arbetar med detta. Metoden som vi valde att anvÀnda var kvalitativ intervju och för att analysera resultaten anvÀnde vi oss av systemteori och empowerment. Resultaten visar att sprÄk, skola och en meningsfull fritid var viktiga delar för barnens integration i samhÀllet. Socialarbetarna i vÄr studie uppgav att de inte arbetar praktiskt med barnens integration, att det Àr boendepersonalen/familjehemmet och de gode mÀnnen som ansvarar för detta. Viktiga slutsatser i studien var att intresset för de ensamkommande barnen var svagt frÄn samhÀllets sida och att socialarbetarna ansÄg att de dokument som anvÀnds inte alltid var anpassade för de ensamkommande barnen.

Uppsatsen Àr en komparativ studie av dansk och svensk integrationspolitik. I uppsatsen stÀlls frÄgan om vilka ÄtgÀrder Sverige och Danmark vidtagit för att nÄ integration av invandrare och vad resultatet blivit av dessa. Uppsatsen fokuserar pÄ fyra olika omrÄden som kan anses indikera hur vÀl man i lÀnderna lyckats med sitt integrationsarbete. Dessa omrÄden Àr Arbete, utbildning, politiskt deltagande och bostadssituation, vilka har undersökts med hjÀlp av svensk och dansk statistik. Uppsatsen visar att invandrare pÄ alla dessa omrÄden ligger efter övriga invÄnare.

This thesis is divided in to two different parts. The first part includes examination of the measurementsystem of an industrial robot using a resolver sensor. The main focus is on methods for suppressing noise in the angularvelocity signal without increasing timedelay. Five different methods are investigated. Three of these are based on oversampling: burstsamplingmethod, meanvaluemethod and correlationmethod.

In this Bachelor Thesis (20 p.), we present the history and development of "Intelligent Houses", and most important- explore some of the future possibilities in this area. The project has been carried out through an interdisciplinary cooperation between three different educations at the Blekinge Institute of Technology. By conducting a dialogue with various actors with different professions, we have been trying to identify needs within the concept of "Intelligent Houses", were the end user is not only the tenant or homeowner. Through Participatory Design methods, such as a Future Workshop, we have brought the users together to discuss their own and each others needs and hindrances in their respective work practice, and how intelligent house technology could improve their work conditions. We have also been testing a highly sophisticated CO/CO2/Moisture/Temperature/Enthalpy multi-sensor & controller, originally developed for regulating indoor climate systems. Based on the needs we have found in our fieldwork, we have been looking at possibilities to make multi user solutions with the sensor..
