A problem in the field of district heating is the oil burners needed to provide power when a peak load occurs. One possible way of reducing the needed amount of oil is to reduce the power demand for space heating in the district-heating substations when the need for district heating water exceeds a certain limit. This can be done by use of a locally working controller function.In this Thesis the options concerning load priority are evaluated. To evaluate the potential for using controller functions concerning peak load priority an experiment was brought out in a chosen district-heating substation. The impact on the indoor thermal comfort during a heat reduction was also taken into account.

Syftet med denna studie Àr att bringa bÀttre förstÄelse och ge en inblick i flyktingars egna upplevelser och erfarenheter gÀllande integrationsarbete under deras tid i Sverige samt under introduktionsperioden pÄ integrationsenheten i VÀsterÄs. Jag har fokuserat min studie pÄ att undersöka hur flyktingar upplever praktik som ÄtgÀrd till integration för att tillföra bÀttre förstÄelse för praktikanternas upplevelser samt identifiera problemomrÄden som behöver förbÀttring eller utveckling. Enligt min mening tyder resultaten av mina kvalitativa djupintervjuer pÄ att det finns ett behov av att fokusera pÄ flyktingens upplevelse under introduktionstiden. Denna period kan vara avgörande för flyktingens framtida sjÀlvuppfattning som jag anser skapar kollektiva gemenskaper som i sin tur leder till isolering och till slut det oundvikliga vi och dem tÀnkande som sÀtter hinder i vÀgen för en lyckad integration.Jag inbjuder lÀsarna att ta del av mitt arbete som belyser olika problemomrÄden samt lyfter fram vilka ÄtgÀrder som behöver vidtas för en utveckling inom integrationsarbetet..

E-handelskunder vill ha möjlighet att handla snabbt och direkt oavsett tidpunkt eller plats. DÀrför Àr integration mellan e-handel och affÀrssystem viktigt för en lyckad e-handelslösning. Detta kÀnner de flesta företag till och idag Àr inte tekniken nÄgot större problem. Att företag trots detta inte integrerar systemen beror pÄ verksamhetsbaserade orsaker. De stora kostnader som integrationen i initialskedet medför anges ocksÄ som ett skÀl till att systemen inte integreras, kunskap saknas om de lÄngsiktiga vinster som integrationen ger.

Compared to all existing ethnic groups in Sweden, the integration of Somali women has failed the most within the aspect of employment. This bachelor?s thesis investigates the obstacles in the integration of Somali women by focusing on one case, a project named ?Kvinnokraft?, partly financed by the European Socialfund.By interviewing eight key actors, opinions about obstacles in the project have been identified. A theoretical framework that incorporates integration, project research, multi-level governance and intersectionality contributes to explaining difficulties in integrating Somali women.The empirical findings show that there are individual, social and institutional holdbacks. Stereotypical perceptions were common amongst officials, which contributes to a creation of an inferior position in the structures of the society for Somali women.

En empirisk kunskapslucka vad gÀller integration mellan marknadsfunktioner och logistikfunktioner i svenska detaljhandelsföretag kunde sÄledes pÄvisas och det Àr dennakunskapslucka som legat till grund för denna studie.Syfte Denna studie syftar till att analysera om, och i sÄ fall hur, marknadsfunktioner och logistikfunktioner inom svenska detaljhandelsföretag Àr integrerade.Genomförande För att uppnÄ syftet genomfördes intervjuer med medarbetare pÄ marknadsfunktionen och logistikfunktionen inom tre svenska detaljhandelsföretag. Dessa företag var Cervera, Glitter och KappAhl.

Integration policies have failed to make diversity into anything more than occupying the same physical space. People of different cultural background still do not share their lives to any real extent. Attempts made within planning and landscape architecture to catalyst the integration process have mainly been focused on structural measures, such as residential policies. As for outdoor environments, non-verbal casual encounters in the shape of crossing paths are assumed to lie at the heart of urban social integration.The aim of the thesis is to question this assumption and, as the thesis will show, there is literature supporting this aim. Looking at the works of Gordon Allport, Lewis Coser and some of their followers, I find intercultural contact to require more complex ways of interaction in order to reduce prejudice and to generate tolerance and understanding.

This bachelor thesis describes the process of developing a two wheeled robot with activebalancing. The robot is designed to go straight ahead until it reaches a finish line. Then it shallstop to stand still balancing. The workload in the group has been divided according to theprevious individual projects, which are attached. The design of the robot is inspired by theconcept of the Segway.

Vi har funnit skillnader i hur barnen upplever den sociala och lÀrandesituationen i de respektive verksamheterna, framför allt vad gÀller sociala grupptillhörigheten och leken tillsammans med de Àldre barnen. Resultatet genomsyras av att förskoleklassbarnen har olika förutsÀttningar gÀllande de sociala och lÀrande situationerna beroende pÄ förskoleklassens organisatoriska hemvist..

Integration Àr ett komplext begrepp som kan ses utifrÄn flera perspektiv och synvinklar. Dramapedagogik emellertid utgÄr frÄn olika typer av vÀrdeord baserade i en gemensam vÀrdegrund. Centrala begrepp i detta Àr demokrati, acceptens och alla mÀnniskors lika vÀrde. Syftet med uppsatsen Àr att kartlÀgga, systematisera och problematisera forskning om hur drama kan anvÀndas, eller har anvÀnts i integrationssyfte. Hur ser dialogen ut inom forskningsfÀltet drama och integration? Vad sÀger det om dramapedagogikens betydelse i integrationsprocesser? Kan man urskilja nÄgra teman och i sÄ fall vilka?Som metod anvÀnds en litteraturstudie med en kvalitativ ansats som vilar pÄ utvalda begrepp som ingÄr i en integrationsprocess.Resultatet visar fyra olika kategorier dÀr drama anvÀnds som metod i integrationsprocesser.

Uppsatsen byggde pÄ en kvalitativ forskningsstrategi med syftet att undersöka hur personal pÄ boenden för ensamkommande flyktingbarn uppfattade begreppet integration och dess innebörd. Empirin Àr insamlad genom sju kvalitativa intervjuer. De frÄgestÀllningar studien byggde pÄ var: vilken innebörd lÀgger personalen i begreppet integration? Vad finns det för eventuella hinder för integration? Vad Àr mÄlet/en med integration och nÀr Àr de uppfyllda? Empirin frÄn dessa intervjuer analyserades sedan genom en tematisk innehÄllsanalys och med ett abduktivt angreppssÀtt. Resultaten tolkades sedan med hjÀlp av postkoloniala teorier och begreppet KASAM.

This paper examines whether membership in the European Union has contributed to democratic stability and integration in an ethnic diverse society. By studying the Latvian multicultural society, before and after membership in the EU, the author is looking for evidence of enhanced ethnic stability in the country brought through European integration. The author will analyze what the consequences have been, by adopting European regional policy, for a country that yet has to create a unified national identity. By analyzing different areas of the Latvian society, the author has concluded that the EU has played a small but yet not insignificant role for the Latvian domestic integration process..

The purpose of this essay is to illustrate immigrants? and refugees? thoughts and experiences of the process of integrating into Swedish society and to examine which social networks foster the process. The main questions in the study are: * What experiences enable refugees and immigrants to become integrated and fully participating members of the Swedish society?* What is the importance of the social networks with regards to integration into Swedish society? A qualitative method was used and five interviews were completed with SFI (Swedish for immigrants) students. The study shows that knowledge of Swedish language promotes an initiative in contacting native Swedes, and it also determines the success of integration.

This paper analyzes governance of cultural and ethnic integration. The study has a comparative perspective between five municipalities in SkÄne. One aim in this thesis is to clearify the ratio between the state and municipal authority and how municipalities exercise their autonomy. I analyze the advantages and disadvantages in different governance methods linked to how the municipalities are working in practice and what problem the integration policy is intended to eliminate. I also resolve the influence of officials and citizens in the policy process.My conclusion is that direct ruling to a large extent is limited by indirect control.

A new curriculum, Lgr11, was introduced in Sweden during the Autumn Semester 2011. My aim in this paper is to investigate whether an integrated and interdisciplinary approach is possible within this new Swedish curriculum.Firstly, I will describe the approach to integration and interdisciplinary work used in the new Swedish curriculum. Secondly, I will analyze whether the curriculum allows for an integrated and interdisciplinary work.The method used in this paper is a qualitative textual analysis and analyzing the new curriculumŽs approach to integration and interdisciplinary education has been the focus. The analysis has been based on the explicit and implicit basics of integration and interdisciplinary work in the curriculum.I assume theories of subject integration and curricula to come up with my results in the paper.To conclude, the results of my analysis of the curriculum show that an integrated and interdisciplinary approach is not only possible, but it is also each school Principal's responsibility as well as part of each teacher`s objective. The Principal's responsibility is to ensure that the integration and interdisciplinary approach is undertaken in school. The curriculum is clear that teachers should let their students work interdisciplinary as well as vary their methods of teaching.
