The purpose of this study was to investigate how media has followed the Parken Zoo incident and analyse how media convey the issue about the Parken Zoo incident. The different results have been compared. To answer the purpose of the study three issues has been formulated:  how do the different media relate to the ideal of objectivity? Who come across and get to speak in the different media? What differences and similarities are in the media?   The theories that have been used in this study are mainly McCombs theory of agenda setting, Strömbäck?s theory of framing and theory of media logic, Kovach & Rosenstiel theories of journalism and Manning?s theory of objectivity. The methods that have been used are a combination of a quantitative content analysis and a qualitative semiotic analysis.

This report describes the tactics used by the Swedish Air Force rescue services against crashed military aeroplanes and helicopters. The aim of the report is to study and analyze the tactics used by the different Air Force bases, standards, regulations and equipment. The report also discusses the different work environment problems and hazards around military ARFF. Much of the information gathered for the report comes from interviews with personnel working in and with the military rescue services. The overall conclusion is that the basic conditions for a good ARFF tactic are there, but a lot needs to be improved and optimized..

This report aims at giving you as a reader a basic knowledge in measurement techniques used in the road/land construction and witch instrument and methods that is commonly used. It also tries to shed light on the problem with unfinished or incomplete blueprints, which cause additional work performed by the surveyor. This report is written in collaboration with PEAB Umeå whom has given insight in their work.The goal of this report is to examine what kind of work surveyors has to perform on blueprints delivered by a technical consultant. The reader of this report gets a run-through of the different theoretical measurement techniques used today and a short explanation of different measuring instruments used by surveyors in their day to day work. Computer programs used in the field of construction are briefly explained, and some of the most common file extensions used, for example dwg and Land-xml.The report concludes in a questionnaire that was sent out to surveyors employed by PEAB.

Previous research shows that Sweden has developed into a segregated society, although it has never been completely homogeneous. A greater integration led to vast number of diverse cultures and religions; therefore the Muslim custom came closer to the Swedish society.The purpose of this thesis is to study how Muslims were portrayed during the incident in Landskrona in March 29 2010 and the bomb threat in Gothenburg in October 31 2010. The study also focused on what Muslims themselves think about the news reporting that followed.We based our study on a qualitative textual analysis and a dialogue with selected people. Six news articles from various newspapers were analyzed and a total of eight persons were included in the dialogues. The study shows that news reporting has been simplified and misleading.During the incident in Lanskrona the newspapers headlined it as a murder even though the accused had not yet been sentenced at the time.

För att kunna erbjuda god och lättillgänglig hälso- och sjukvård vid stora olyckor och katastrofer krävs en katastrofberedskap grundad på planläggning, utbildning och övning. Sjukvårdens särskilda beredskap måste kunna hantera såväl den "lilla vardagsolyckan" som den stora olyckan eller katastrofen. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur enhetschefer och distriktssköterskor vid primärvården i två kommuner i Jämtlands län upplevde sig förberedda inför en katastrof eller en stor olycka där utryckning krävdes utanför vårdinrättningar till olycksplats. Syftet var även att undersöka hur katastrofberedskap prioriteras av enhetschefer. En intervjustudie har genomförts med tre enhetschefer och fem distriktssköterskor.

The aim of this study is to describe a group of youths in compulsory care at a SiS institution in the south of Sweden. The study focuses on intelligence (measured with WISC-III) and self-report, i. e. what the youths think of themselves (measured with Jag tycker jag är). Attempts were made to see if background factors (based on information from the standardized ADAD-interview) seem to be coherent with intelligence and/or self-report and if so, what those background factors are.

The purpose of this thesis is to gain a deeper understanding about why Swedish banks choose to work and report CSR and also analyze differences and similarities between two banks.Research question: Why do Swedish companies within the financial sector choose to report and work with Corporate Social Responsibility?The major incentives to work and report CSR are because it benefits bank´s businesses, which is driven by stakeholders. Stakeholder pressure is also an important incentive, especially pressure from customers and employees. The incentives that differed between the two banks were morality of the business leader, society and the priority of stakeholders. The incentives that we could not support were guidelines and competitors-.

The four types of allergic reactions are described. Different diagnostic techniques are also accounted for. SAMMANFATTNINGBakgrundI Sverige är sjuksköterskor en av de mest utsatta yrkesgrupperna när det gäller hot och våld på arbetsplatsen. Tidigare studier har visat att utbildning kring hot och våld samt stöd efter en incident kan påverka hur sjuksköterskorna hanterar en hotfull eller våldsam incident. Dessa studier har dock främst fokuserat på sjukvården i allmänhet eller psykiatrin i allmänhet. Forskning kring hot och vålds påverkan inom rättspsykiatrisk vård är bristfällig.SyfteAtt belysa sjuksköterskors upplevelse av hot och våld inom den rättspsykiatriska vården samt de konsekvenser som hot och våld kan få för omvårdnaden.MetodFöreliggande studie är baserad på sju intervjuer med sjuksköterskor från två rättspsykiatriska verksamheter i Mellansverige. Intervjuerna har utgått från en semistrukturerad form, sedan har en kvalitativ innehållsanalys gjorts.ResultatStudien resulterade i sju olika kategorier kring sjuksköterskors upplevelse av hot och våld inom rättspsykiatrisk vård: bilden av hot och våld inom rättspsykiatrisk vård, utbildning, stöd vid hot och våld, relation till patienten, preventivt arbete, känslor samt omvårdnaden.Det första huvudfyndet pekar på att återkommande utbildning från arbetsgivarna kring säkerhet och självskydd är bristfällig samt att utbildningen kring psykiatrisk omvårdnad i grundutbildningen för sjuksköterskor anses otillräcklig kring förberedelse att arbeta inom rättspsykiatrisk vård.Det andra huvudfyndet visar på att stödet från kollegor anses vara det viktigaste för att bearbeta en hotfull eller våldsam incident.
