Aspects on cow traffic and management on farms with automatic milking

This thesis consists of four case studies. The objective is to find out how to get a well functioning cow traffic in an automatic milking system. Different technical and building solutions are analysed and some adjustments are proposed for the DeLaval herd management software. Att implementera uppförandekoder ? Intern implementering av miljöriktlinjer i en organisation

In this bachelor thesis we have used a case study to examine the potential opportunities and obstacles an organization may have to internally implement a code of conduct with regard to the environmental guidelines. To succeed with the implementation of codes of conduct, companies need to ensure that what is provided to be implemented do this according to scheduled time targets, but also that is to be implemented in the organization actually is what is intended to be implemented, and that those that are involved in the implementation will be satisfied with result, this is because it is the employees who will follow the guidelines contained in the Code. Heide & Grönhaug (2002) argues that lack of communication is the main reason why the implementation in the business strategies fails. In this case study we have used primary data from interviews in the case company as well as secondary data from earlier research and information from the case company itself to develop our conclusions. The case study shows that the existing environmental awareness in an organization often is founded in common sense about how to act.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur inredningsbranschen, genom IKEA som fallföretag, skulle kunna utveckla sin kommunikation för att ta till vara den potential och köpkraft som tros finnas inom rekordgenerationen. The case studies of this study are South Sudan and Somaliland. Problem: Idag har de flesta detaljhandelsföretag någon form av kundklubb för att stärka banden mellan sig och sina kunder. Men skapar kundklubbar lojala kunder per automatik, eller krävs det mer än vad de flesta företag erbjuder idag? IKEA Family är en av de kundklubbar som funnits längst och på varuhuset i Älmhult upplever man inte att potentialen med kundklubben utnyttjas fullt ut då relationerna med medlemmarna inte utvecklas i önskvärd utsträckning. I detta arbete undersöks huruvida detta beror på konceptuella brister, val av strategi eller implementeringen av konceptet på varuhusnivå eller om det finns andra förklaringar. Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att utifrån vår fallstudie på IKEA-varuhuset i Älmhult, samt med hjälp av utvalda teorier kring lojalitet, relationsmarknadsföring och strategi, skapa förståelse för hur en kundklubbsstrategi bör utformas och förverkligas samt visa på vilka problem som kan uppstå.

Förväntningar på västerländska, globala detaljhandelsföretag - en studie av kinesiska kvinnors förväntningar på IKEA

Studiens syfte är att skapa förståelse för kinesiska kvinnors förväntningar på ett globalt, västerländskt detaljhandelsföretag. Studien baseras på kvalitativa intervjuer med kinesiska kvinnor i Shanghai, Kina. Studien bygger på centrala begrepp inom forskningsområdena kundnöjdhet och förväntningar. The purpose with this study is to compare different systems of grain storage from a financial point of view. Grain that is supposed to be fed to laying hens. The systems that were compared were different airtight storage of grain and a system of conventional storage. To make this case study I choose to compare four different systems. In the case study there was one system with bin drying of the grain, two systems with airtight storage of the grain and one system where you buy dried grain during the season. I made several of capital investment appraisal where I found the cost of each system, then I took the cost and divided it with the total grain use and calculated the cost for each kilogram of grain, and also the cost of the feed. Then I compared the cost from my case study with the cost of buying feed. All the systems except for one, gave a lower cost for the hen feed than buying feed from a dealer The best system, witch were bin drying lower the cost with about 80 000:- SEK.

Many social services cases have been reviewed in the media during the last years. One of those cases is ?Lasse and Karin?, handled by the Social Services in Oskarshamn in 2002. Lasse and Karin had their son taken into custody by the Social Services and the case was reviewed in national media. Through this case the Social Services received much attention, of which most was negative, and their handling of the case was greatly criticized.

The stakeholders for requirements elicitation need to be identified at an early stage and their knowledge is the basis for what is to become a requirements specification. Just because a stakeholder holds a lot of expertise and knowledge it does not mean that the stakeholder can communicate the knowledge in a clear way. Validation of knowledge means that knowledge is valued and recognized in a structured way. People and organizations can evolve by exchanging knowledge, experience and skills.  The purpose of this study is to increase the understanding of knowledge management between requirement elicitation and external stakeholders.
