The purpose of the work is to highlight schools work to prevent bullying and abusive treatment, find out about schools work to prevent bullying and abusive treatment follow what is written in the governing documents and how schools can work preventively against the same. The questions have been investigated through qualitative interviews and analysis of documents or in the theoretical background. The interviewees and partially schools were selected through an arbitrarily selection. In each plan against abusive treatment states that the monitoring and evaluation should be conducted in a manner that is not consistent with the responses from leisure educator 1, 2 and 3. School B's plan does not contain an overview of the measures needed to prevent and stop abusive treatment of children.

Inledning: I Sverige drabbas ungefär 30000 människor av stroke varje år. Nästanhälften av alla människor som genomgått en stroke blir nedstämda/deprimerade. Det ärviktigt att få kunskap om vilka patientupplevelser som förekommer vidnedstämdhet/depression för att kunna möta patienterna på ett adekvat sätt. Syfte: Syftetmed litteraturstudien var att belysa patienters upplevelser av nedstämdhet/depressionefter stroke. Metod: Litteraturstudien har baserats på 11 kvalitetsgranskadevetenskapliga artiklar från 2003-2013.

Många som gör spel kan ha svårt för att få till en bra introduktion där spelaren lär sig det den behöver på ett bra sätt. För att förstå mer av den problematiken kan inspiration hämtas från andra områden. Den här rapporten fokuserar på processen att förbättra introduktionen i ett specifikt spel, Sway, för att spelarna ska lära sig spelet lättare och i högre grad förstå hur kontrollerna i spelet fungerar. Genom att förbättra introduktionen i spelet var förhoppningen att antalet gånger som spelarna misslyckades, d.v.s. föll av banorna skulle minska.Först utvärderades inledningen genom tre metoder; heuristisk utvärdering, automatiskt insamlad data och speltester.

The following study examined whether similarities in motor speech deficits in Parkinson?s disease and in developmental stuttering could be observed. Furthermore, intelligibility was examined. Assessments of 16 people with Parkinson?s disease, 35 people with developmental stuttering and 49 matched controls were performed with the tests Dysartribedömningen and the Swedish Test of Intelligibility.

Many people believe that the analogue picture book is a dying media due to the increase of digital media. Contrary to popular belief, the publishing of children?s book in Sweden is continually increasing, which makes mapping the field quite significant. But to regulate the creation of a children?s picture book is problematic, because one does not want to impede the personal style of the writer or the illustrator of the children?s book.If the children?s book creator has an understanding of how to better communicate with children, the children?s book might have a grater impact on the child.

The purpose of this essay is to analyse and evaluate human relations within organisations in purpose to achieve higher productivity. Both research objects gained interest in this essay due to how their own result should be effected and their own values but the writers also detected a little curiosity on how the competition handled these questions. The essay have progressed in the following steps: first the authors have tried to find a problem definition and a scientific ground to work from. After that an extensive literature study were done to be followed by an mapping of apparition on the human relations on Scania motorverkstads logistics department and Volvo Logistics by interviews of the people in charge in these organisations. To see whether there was a unanimous line of thoughts between the management and the employees the authors made questionnaires to the different department.

The purpose of the essay is to examine how issues concerning gender equality are perceived and to show what areas are defined as problematic in different discourses. It also raises the question of who is defined as responsible for dealing with issues concerning gender equality in these different contexts. Theories used are the gender system and intersectionality. The study builds on a mapping of a company that is active nationally and internationally, with emphasis on the problems that can arise when these two social contexts meet, with a special focus on cathegories such as gender and ?Swedishness?.

Internet dating is a relatively new phenomenon that, in using the opportunities of the internet, has taken traditional dating to a new level. The business idea is simple as such. The company provides its customers with a platform that enables interaction, leaving the value creation to the customers. A qualitative study is conducted investigating and mapping the Swedish market for Internet dating. It is researched what the characteristics of the companies are, what the Internet dating businesses in Sweden offer, what the prevailing market conditions are, and lastly what challenges lie ahead for the industry and how they can be solved.

This thesis contains a usability evaluation of ?Barnplay?, a Swedish video-on-demand service targeted at children. The objective of the study was to identify usability issues in the video service and to develop measures on improving the user interface, with special focus on adaptation to the broad target group of 3-11 year olds.The study was conducted by first mapping established practices in designs of VOD-services targeted at children, followed by interviews and usability tests with children between 2-11 concerning their use of ?Barnplay?. Based on the initial data collection, a prototype was developed and then evaluated by usability testing and A/B-testing.The main conclusion of the study is the need of better individual adjustment of the video content selection to better appeal to different age segments within the target group.

Holmen Paper is one of Sweden?s leading manufacturer of paper, with two Swedish production facilities located in Norrköping and Hallstavik. The European continent constitutes the company?s largest customer base which makes the company?s distribution system an integral part of the business. Historically, much of the produced paper has been transported by vessels, as vessels allow large volumes of goods and deliveries to markets which are difficult to reach with other modes of transportation.

Detta examensarbete har utförts på uppdrag av Amersham Biosciences i Uppsala och undersöker hur ett specifikt instrument för proteinseparation skall kunna styras och övervakas över Internet. I arbetets inledning har en noggrann utredning av befintlig teknik utförts och utifrån dessa erfarenheter har en produkt utarbetats. Produkten är ett mikrokontrollerstyrt system och arbetet har således inneburit både hård- och mjukvarukonstruktion. I mikrokontrollern finns bland annat ett realtidsoperativsystem, en TCP/IP-stack och en webbserver implementerade. Hårdvarukonstruktionen har skett i två prototypsteg för trots att mycket tid lades på att hitta lämpliga komponenter visade sig den första prototypen inte fungera på önskvärt sätt.

International organizations are important actors on the stage of world politics, and how these actors securitize the climate change issue is of importance for how it will be tackled by actors on global and national levels. The purpose of this study is to contribute to research on climate security discourses and how climate change is defined as a security concern amongst different actors. This study, in contrast to previous research, focuses on systematically mapping the definitions made by different international organizations by asking: whose security is at stake; who is responsible for responding to the threat; how is the nature of the threat defined; and what responses are suggested? By analyzing material consisting of a variety of documents and statements from five international organizations, I aim to identify differences between these actors ? in how the climate change issue is conceptualized from a security perspective. The result of the study shows that only one of the organizations shows clear elements of the national/geopolitical security discourse, while all of the other actors primarily use the human security discourse.

Syftet med detta utvecklingssarbete har varit att undersöka hur elevernas attityder till matematikämnet förändras om undervisningen genomförs med högre grad av nivå- och perspektivväxling än lärobokens framställning och med ett ökat inslaget av problem hämtade ur en för eleven konkret verklighet. Den pedagogiska iden vilar på tankegångar inom ramarna för konstruktivismen. Arbetet genomfördes i två olika klasser vid teknikprogrammet, i årskurs 1 och 2, på en gymnasieskola i Norrbotten under 8 veckor vårterminen 2003. Elevernas attitydförändring bedömdes med likadana enkäter vid inledning och avslutande av den pedagogiska försöksperioden, och genom observationer och samtal under försökets gång. Resultatet indikerar att det ökade inslaget av verklighetsanknytning hade positiva effekter på elevernas attityd.

The purpose of this Masters thesis is to make an outline of different methods and theories within the field of bibliometrics and critically review their strengths and weaknesses. The author studied literature that discussed bibliometric methods and theories. The number of empirical studies that are based on bibliometric methods and theories are numerous and where principally excluded, but some empirical studies were included as part of the argumentation for and against different methods and theories. The author first gives an outline of which methods and theories there are and describes their different strengths and weaknesses. Citation analysis has many different fields of application such as information retrieval, mapping science, evaluative studies and monitoring literature.

Inledning: När ett aktiebolag behöver nytt kapital de bland annat välja att utföra en nyemission. Enligt en stor del av den tidigare forskningen tas dessa emot på marknaden på ett negativt sätt. Resultatet blir ofta en nedgång i aktiekursen.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur en offentlig tillkännagivande om en kommande nyemission påverkar ett företags aktiekurs. Dessutom studera om det finns några skillnader beroende på marknadens konjunktur samt branschtillhörighet.Metod: Då vi mäter en specificerad händelse har vi utfört en eventstudie. Den insamlade datan är av sekundär natur och har under arbetets gång samlats in systematiskt.
