Lastbilsindustrin är idag en komplex industri där marknaden präglas av stor konkurrens aktörerna emellan. För att utnyttja den fria marknaden och entreprenörens drivande krafter för en lyckad affär har Scania valt att tillämpa DOS-standarder för sina återförsäljare. Syftet med denna studie är att kartlägga de poster som försvårar en entreprenörs möjligheter att starta som återförsäljare för Scania. Studien har för avsikt att ligga till grund för vidare diskussioner och skapa en förståelse för vilka kostnader som påverkar entreprenören i startfasen. Kostnader som kan vara direkt avgörande vad det gäller att hitta lönsamhet i verksamheten. Direktiv från EU har fått Scania att skapa standarder bland sina återförsäljare.

Grön IT är ett begrepp som har fått mer uppmärksamhet i Sverige de senaste åren. Grön IT handlar mycket om att minska energiförbrukningen och med denna uppsats framgår det att arbetet kring detta redan pågår i viss mån, men företagen har inte kommit så långt än. Det finns fortfarande stora möjligheter att göra förbättringar. En viktig del i miljöarbetet är att engagera personalen genom utbildning. Grön IT innebär mer än bara klimatpåverkan, det innebär också lägre kostnader, ökad effektivitet och en stärkt image.

Barren rearing environment and early weaning of piglets can lead to a high level of distress, behavioural disturbances and reduction in weight gain. The main aim of this thesis was to study the effects of potential enrichment objects on piglet?s behaviour and weight gain during the pre- and post-weaning period. The second aim was to examine what type of object stimulated the highest frequency of interaction. The study was carried out at the Swedish Livestock Research Centre in Lövsta where a batch of litters from 10 first-parity Yorkshire sows were used.

I detta examensarbete analyseras om elektroniska fastighetsköp är framtiden i Sverige. Analysen genomförs genom en komparativ studie av den svenska respektive den finska lagstiftningen för fastighetsköp, ansökan om lagfart och ansökan om inteckning. För att besvara den övergripande frågeställningen besvaras ett flertal delfrågor, däribland om formkravets syfte och ändamål uppnås om elektroniska fastighetsköp införs. I examensarbetet konstateras att nuvarande bestämmelser förvisso är fungerande, men att ett flertal positiva följder inträder om elektroniska fastighetsköp införs. Som exempel underlättas parternas upprättande av köpehandlingen.

Hedge funds? importance within the financial system has during the most recent years increased dramatically. These special funds are unique instruments that differ from traditional mutual funds in a variety of ways, however especially in how they expect returns. Due to the fact that hedge funds are able to hold short positions they possess the possibility to become market neutral investment vehicles.Because of this possibility to sustain positions neutral to market fluctuations, the concept of absolute returns became a unique selling point for hedge fund managers and promises of stable returns unchallenged by market conditions was assured. This research paper aims to examine the theory of absolute returns in hedge funds by examining hedge funds from the Nordic region during the last years of economic turmoil that has occurred by  analyzing the results from their strategies, partially by quantitative measurements as well as qualitative.  The results show that none of hedge fund strategies managed to deliver absolute returns over the chosen period..

Our thesis focus on how retirees perceive Tv4s news casts of economy news where we focused on five different aspects: What is the relationship between the news cast and the viewer and how does the viewer express their understanding of the news cast and the way it is constructed? What are the viewers attitude towards the news content and how do they find the news cast useful for them personally?We choosed retirees as our target group due to their vulnerable economic position in today?s society and TV as an important medium for them due to the digital divide. The study was performed with twelve qualitative interviews and one group interview where six retirees took part.We discovered a big interest for economic news in the target group. The majority had a sympathetic view of the news cast they saw but they also expressed skepticism toward the economy segment and/or news castings. The majority expressed a lack of trust for the journalists and the experts brought in to share observations and make announcements, and the financial business overall.

Examensarbetet har utförts vid SCA Packaging Obbola AB. Företaget tillverkar oblekt liner vilket är ytskiktet till wellpapp. Under början av 2005 startade företaget implementering av Sex Sigma som systematiskt arbetssätt för kvalitetsförbättringar. Examensarbetet har bedrivits som ett Sex Sigma projekt vid företaget och de erfarenheter som erhållits under arbetets gång har legat till grund för utvärdering av implementeringsarbetet för Sex Sigma vid företaget. Sex Sigma projektet inriktades på att minska pappersförluster vid produktionsomställningar.

The purpose of this study was to examine participants' experiences and descriptions of a municipal activation program, and how participants perceive their opportunities for influence on their own needs and requirements. The results are based on statements from six semi-structured, individual interviews conducted by the qualitative method. Empowerment, paternalism and social capital are among the study's theoretical frame of reference. The main results show that more participants are critical of aspects of coercion and involuntary willingness in participation. Motivation for participation seems to mainly be linked to whether the activity is experienced as meaningful, as well as to the attitude of the staff.

Speciellt när det gäller tjänster som är fögakonkreta är det väsentligt att ha en medvetenhet om vad kunden efterfrågar och vad det kostaratt skapa det. Ett företags resurser måste allokeras för att matcha det värdeskapande somkunden uppfattar som mervärde.Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att skapa en modell eller ett ramverk för att undersökaresursmatchning i ett tjänstföretag. Studien ska ge riktlinjer om hur ett företag kan matchasina kostnader mot det kunden värdesätter med produkten. Vidare ska studien beröra hurdenna matchning kan analyseras och användas som beslutsunderlag rörandekostnadsstyrningen i företaget.Avgränsningar: Uppsatsen är fokuserad på tjänstesektorn och specifiktförsäkringsbranschen.

Background - The trend of new soccer stadiums took off in England and the three key factors of this trend where security, economic value and growth. In the early 2000s the trend came to Sweden and Växjö. The soccer stadium, Värendsvallen were old and needed modernization.Purpose - The overall purpose of this study is to understand how Östers IF as a nonprofit organization has organized themselves when planning a large and complex project as the construction of a new soccer stadium. It also aims to portray how Östers IF has moved from concept to reality with the new soccer stadium.Method - The case study of the project organization in Östers IF where made ??using semi-structured interviews and participant observations.

A logical cause of migration is of course immigrants which is a topic always creating discussions. When arriving in a new country a process of integration with the goal to adapt to the environment is started. This study will explore the need for integration and seeks to examine the connection between population composition and radical right opinions.To fulfill the aim, a multivariate regression analysis is done on aggregated level in Sweden with statistics concerning the year of 2010. The relation between ethnic composition and voters support for the Swedish radical right party Sverigedemokraterna is studied as well as integration as an explanatory intermediate factor operationalized through unemployment, financial assistance and trust.The results of the study indicate a positive connection between immigrants from EU/EFTA and the voter support for Sverigedemokraterna. A negative relation is identified between trust and the voter support for Sverigedemokraterna.

Hedge funds have the past few years become an increasingly popular investment alternative and in the last decade hedge fund assets managed have quadrupled to USD 2000 billion, a growth rate of around 25-30% per year. One explanation for this substantial increase is that hedge funds' minimum limits on capital invested has declined, which have made ??them available to retail investors. The recent turmoil in financial markets has also contributed to investors finding their way to hedge funds, whose goal is to generate stable returns regardless of how the market develops.Using Sharpe?s, Treynor?s and Jensen's performance measures, I have investigated whether hedge funds manage to generate higher risk-adjusted returns than traditional managed funds.

Syftet med projektet är att undersöka möjligheterna för Sandvik Materials Technology att utveckla arbetet med hållbarheten inom affärsområdets produktion. På grund av företagets storlek och globala utsträckning har företaget ett stort ansvar för att värna om miljön. Syftet är vidare att undersöka hur dessa utvecklingsprocesser kan se ut utan att den ekonomiska lönsamheten påverkas negativt. De metoder som har använts för att samla in teori och empiri har bestått utav intervjuer, litteratursökning i böcker samt kritiskt granskade källor på internet. En riskanalys har utförts för att verifiera källans innehåll och bekräfta dess trovärdighet.

Has everybody the willingness to take responsibility fore the organisation and the changes that the surrounding world claims?.
