The purpose of this paper is to follow Swedbank project "cash smart" and have it as a basis when we examine if we are heading for a cash-free society and what obstacles and opportunities there is for a cash-free society.Method:We have used a qualitative method to conduct interviews with two individuals involved in the project "cash smart" at Swedbank in Gävle.

This examination project has been performed in collaboration with Husqvarna AB, one of the world?s leading manufacturers of both commercial and professional garden products such as chainsaws, trimmers and lawnmowers. Husqvarna AB always strive to develop and improve new and existing products and components to ensure an attractive product and a competitive position on today?s market One of these components is filled balances. This is a component unique to the company and is one of the parts in their fuel-powered chainsaws.

Thoroughbred racehorses have suffered from exercise-induced haemorrhage for over 300 years. Almost all competing horses develop exercise-induced pulmonary haemorrhage (EIPH) at some point but most horses don?t suffer from reduced competing capacity due to the disease. The cause of the exercise-induced haemorrhage is unknown. The most believed theory today is that EIPH is induced by pulmonary stress failure caused by pressure over 100 mmHg in the pulmonary arteries during exercise.

During the fall of 2007 Uppsala University gave the course ?Projekt DV?. As a result of this class a publishing tool for real-time media came to be ShiShi TV. The purpose of this application was to introduce a new way to reach out to people. This was done with a video player on the Internet and a second one placed in a regular mobile phone.

I den här undersökningen har jag belyst hur elever som går sitt första år på gymnasiets tekniska program, har upplevt teknikundervisningen på högstadiet. Målet har varit att belysa teknikämnets relevans för tekniska studier på gymnasiet, dess inverkan på teknikintresset samt påverkan på valet av tekniskt program på gymnasiet. Andra frågor som jag har belyst är om eleverna i första hand väljer program eller skola, och hur viktig inriktningen på tekniskt program tycks vara för valet. Undersökningen bygger på intervjuer med fem elever som går första året på gymnasiets tekniska program. Intervjuerna har sedan analyserats med hjälp av den narrativa analysmetoden inom berättelseforskningen, och resultatet består av fem berättelser som skapats utifrån intervjuerna.

This report describes my degree project. For my degree project I made a demo for a game idea that I've developed, and implemented for use with Xbox 360. The idea was about converting the feeling and gameplay of old 2D side-scrolling platform games into 3D, viewed from a first-person perspective. The Xbox 360 version of the demo was also submitted for the game competition Swedish Game Awards. In the report, I explain this idea more extensive, what software I used to implement it, and how I implemented it. Finally, at the end I clarify the results and discuss fulfilled tasks and future improvements.

Syftet med vår undersökning var att beskriva elevernas upplevelser av matematik med avseende på ålder, intresse, förståelse samt pedagogens kunskap om elevernas förståelse. Försökspersonerna omfattade totalt 40 elever och 40 pedagoger som representerade år 3, 6, 9 på grundskolan samt år 3 på gymnasieskolan. Enkäterna utformades med nivåanpassade uppgifter. Resultatet visade att grundskolans pedagoger har kunskap om att eleverna tycker att abstrakt matematik är svår. Däremot visste inte pedagogerna på gymnasiet att deras elever upplever det konkreta som svårt.

The key purpose of this research has been to study and understand how young people with Syriac ethnicity experience their identity, when living in two different cultures. The Syriac minority is something of a special case when it concerns establishing the identity of an individual, since syriac´s do not have an official country.To be able to do this research an interview has been done with four young students with syriac ethnicity. The four of them is attending their final year at ?gymnasiet? in Sweden which is equivalent to USA?s senior year in high school.The multicultural school is today a fact and many immigrants attending the Swedish schools today feels misplaced when they meet the Swedish culture through fellow students and society. A clash between cultures occurs and most of the students, with non-Swedish ethnicity, live some kind of dual life.

Vår frågeställning för att se på vägledarnas yrkesroll baserar sig på vägledningsstrategi och vägledningsmetodik. Även sökande och elever ingick bland de intervjuade för att se det ur deras perspektiv. Metoden av kvalitativa intervjuer möjliggjorde för oss att kunna få svar på de frågor vi valt. Teorierna vi använt möjliggjorde för oss att kunna se resultaten ur intressanta perspektiv. Även den tidigare forskningen vi använt belyste våra resultat på ett intressant sätt.

During year 2004 Ålö AB made significant change in their production process. The production of front loaders is nowadays highly automated with short operation times. To be able to control their process in a better way Ålö recently decided that they needed a tool for simulation of their production and to shift patterns. This final thesis started with a pilot study in Ålö?s factory in Brännland.

Studien framkom efter att Skolverket (2006) i en rapport presenterat att var tredje elev i gymnasiet är stressad och att elever upplever mer stress med stigande ålder. I gymnasieskolan skall elever i Idrott och hälsa A lära sig om både den fysiska och psykiska hälsan. Spänningsreglering är något som är viktigt för den psykiska hälsan och något som kan användas för att individen skall kunna slappna av så att stressen inte skall bli skadlig. Idrottslärare skall ge gymnasieelever redskap till att hantera stress. Kan då natur och friluftsliv vara en sorts form av spänningsreglerande redskap? Denna studies syfte är att undersöka om elever på gymnasiet som ofta bedriver friluftsliv eller vistas i naturen upplever mindre stress i skolan än gymnasielever som mindre frekvent bedriver friluftsliv eller vistas i naturen samt att undersöka gymnasieelevers känslor förknippade med vistelse i natur eller friluftsliv.

SammanfattningStudien undersöker språkliga faktorer i textbaserade matematikuppgifter som påverkar elevers förmåga att förstå och lösa det i uppgiften presenterade matematiska problem. Studien utgår från en kognitiv och lingvistisk teoribildning. Resultatet av studien diskuteras även ur ett flerspråkigt perspektiv. Syftet med uppsatsen är att med ett kognitivt och lingvistiskt perspektiv undersöka och finna exempel på språkliga faktorer som är avgörande när elever löser textbaserade uppgifter i matematik. Detta görs med en lingvistisk textanalys samt kvalitativa elevintervjuer.
