Uppsatsen ?Jude eller same, i religionsundervisningen, då får ni inte vara med?!? utgår från de nationella minoriteterna i Sverige och hur de framställs i läroböckerna för eleverna som läser religionskunskap A på gymnasiet. Uppsatsen är gjord med en jämförande litteraturstudie bland fem religionskunskapsböcker för gymnasiet. Med Anthony Giddens teori om minoriteter och etniciteter kommer att tolka hur läroböckerna framställer minoritetsreligionerna. Problemformuleringen grundar sig i hur läroböckerna framställer Sveriges minoriteters religioner med inriktning på samernas religion och judendomen.

According to the national legislation concerning discrimination within labour law, it is prohibited to discriminate on the grounds of sex, ethnic belonging, religion or other religious belief, functional disability, sexual nature and part-time work or time-limited employment. The EC-law goes further and also prohibits discrimination on the ground of age. According to an EC-directive the member states must incorporate a national provision against age discrimination by the 2nd of December 2006 and the Swedish legislator is now in the progress to implement this into Swedish law.Even though national legislation does not contain any provision on the area, the EC-law directive has a certain influence at national law. Measures that are in breach of the purpose of the directive can for example not be taken. When the time for implementation has expired, the directive has direct effect and can be referred to within the member states.

This degree project documents the meeting of four high-school students with working life before and during the practical training period, which is a mandatory part of the Swedish media curriculum. We looked into practical training, which we qualify as the crossroads between school and working life, from a student?s perspective. We chose to approach the problem theoretically via hermeneutics and we used the case study method for our field research. The foundation of our pre-understanding of the media curriculum?s practical training period lays on previously published research, the study of specialist literature, own experience gained during practical training and teaching experience at high-schools as well as a pre-study we carried out.

The aim of this thesis is to accomplish an understanding on how librarians experience their professional role at private companies. The study is based on qualitative interviews with persons who have a degree in Library and Information science, but does not work as an ordinary librarian. To answer why the respondents work at private companies, this thesis dwells on how the education in library and information science prepares their students to face an alternative career; why the respondents wants to work at private firms instead of a library; if the salary is a key factor in order to choose a career; if the respondents think the companies appreciate their qualifications, and finally, if the respondents think they intrude on other professions' territory? Working at a private company, with a degree in library- and information science, is not, according to the respondents, easy. Although appreciated by their knowledge in the field of information, the interviewees think that the title librarian is hard to cope with.

Confrontation naming is commonly used in speech and language pathology to diagnose neurogenic communication disorders and evaluate naming ability. The existing Swedish assessment instruments for adults consist of pictures depicting nouns. In this study, parts of the instrument An Object and Action Naming Battery were used, containing pictures depicting both nouns and verbs. The study?s purpose was to explore the degree of difficulty in the material, based on the naming of the participants, and examine whether different variables correlate with the results in confrontation naming.

Syftet med undersökningen är att få en uppfattning om vad elever och lärare på ett yrkesinriktat program på gymnasiet anser om nivågruppering. I arbetet definieras olika former av differentiering, och för- och nackdelar med nivågruppering redovisas. Svaren på enkätundersökningar visar elevers och lärares åsikter om nivågruppering. Ungefär hälften av eleverna var positiva till nivågruppering. Eleverna har möjlighet att byta grupp och rörligheten av elever mellan nivågrupperna var relativt stor.

Road transports stand for a great part of Sweden?s total CO2-emissions. Transports are expected to increase over the coming years, and with those the emissions. A greater environmental awareness leads to increased demands for environmentally friendly transport. The aim of this thesis is to study the consequences of changing transportation modes from road to railway.

Sammanfattning Historia blev ett kärnämne på gymnasiet 2011, vilket innebär att ämnet nu är obligatoriskt även på yrkesprogrammen. Syftet med föreliggande arbete har varit att kartlägga och analysera hittills gjorda erfarenheter av implementeringen av historia som kärnämne. Kartläggningen genomfördes vårterminen 2011 genom att fyra lärare som undervisar på den nya kärnämneskursen Historia 1a1 intervjuades. Det framkom att lärarna såg det som positivt att historia blivit ett kärnämne. Samtidigt menade de att Historia 1a1 har för få undervisningstimmar, vilket ansågs medföra svårigheter att ge eleverna förståelse för den historiska utvecklingen.

Purpose/Aim: The purpose of this essay is to examine the ways two Swedish tabloid newspapers portray and describe the non-Socialist parties during the Swedish election of 2006.Material/Method: We have been studying 388 articles about the non-Socialist parties, derived from the two largest tabloid newspapers in Sweden, Aftonbladet and Expressen, during the month before the election. The method for the study is quantitative content analysis.Main results: The main conclusions drawn from this study are that Aftonbladet had twice as much written material about the non-Socialist parties, despite the fact that the paper is traditionally Socialist, while Expressen had consistently larger headlines. Both tabloids function to a higher degree as political actors than arenas for politics. The results are in accordance with earlier research, which shows that the degree of attention the non-Socialist parties acquired as a whole in the 2006 election, is remarkable. More than half of the articles in both tabloids portrayed the non-Socialist parties as a single political actor.

Det här examensarbetet handlar om skrivundervisning. Undersökningen är huvudsakligen en fallstudie. Syftet är att få ökade kunskaper om en gymnasielärares arbetssätt för att utveckla sina elevers skrivande. Den huvudsakliga forskningsfrågan i detta arbete är: Hur beskriver en erfaren gymnasielärare sin skrivundervisning för att öka sina elevers skrivförmåga inom svenskundervisningen i gymnasiet?Examensarbetet börjar i en teoretisk utgångspunkt med tre olika teorier om skrivande och skrivundervisning.

This essay discusses the problem of literary history in the Swedish school system. The aim of the essay is to discuss whether the textbook, Den Levande litteraturen, in literary history for Swedish high school students measures up to the demands of the curriculum in terms of obtaining knowledge about international literature and the historical and cultural framework that surrounds it. The essay establishes a theoretical framework that is used to distinguish the discourse that permeates the textbook and how it affects the means of sustaining the curriculum and the problems it may create.The textbook is broken down chronologically and analyzed showing quotes that points towards national and orientalistic discourses which in turn are discussed put in relation to the curriculum and the effects that these discourses might have on education in Swedish and literary history.This is in turn problematized with the current theories regarding comparative literary history..

Den här uppsatsen behandlar elevers kunskaper om begreppet funktioner. Det står i uppnäendemålen att eleverna skall kunna tolka och använda enkla formler, läsa enkla ekvationer, samt kunna tolka och använda grafer till funktioner som beskriver verkliga förhållanden och händelser. (Utbildningsdepartementet, 1998). Undersökningen är gjord på tre skolor och omfattar två klasser i är 9 samt en klass i gymnasiet. Vi har genom enkäter och djupintervjuer försökt ta reda på vad eleverna kan inom området.

Forestry in Sweden is currently conducted in a manner aiming at equating the production objectives and the biodiversity. To ensure that biodiversity is maintained, patches that are considered to be valuable now or in the future is saved in final fellings. How the tree retention areas will grow into the future forest stands is yet unknown.The purpose of this study was to visualize how different scenarios of natural consideration taken at final felling will evolve in a long term perspective, for two rotation periods. Projections of the forest conditions were executed with the decision support system Heureka and its applications PlanStart and PlanWise. The information about the projected forests was then used for the visualizations which were created in the software Visual Nature Studio.

Vår projektredogörelse beskriver utformandet av ett läromedel som främjar problemorienterat tematiskt arbete i kurserna Svenska A och Svenska B på gymnasiet. Vår intention har varit att läromedlet ska ha en erfarenhetspedagogisk utgångspunkt och att uppgifterna ska vara tydligt kopplade till kursplanernas mål.
