De flesta vårdskador beror helt eller delvis på brister i kommunikation. Ett sätt att förbättra patientsäkerheten är att använda kommunikationsverktyg, där det vanligast förekommande kallas SBAR. En litteraturstudie gjordes där femton artiklar granskades med syftet att belysa hur SBAR påverkar patientsäkerheten. SBAR utövade sin påverkan på flera olika sätt. Kommunikationen mellan de olika professionerna gavs en enhetlig struktur där mindre information saknades.

Detta projekt har handlat om att komponera elektronisk popmusik med hjälp av digitalaverktyg. Jag ville undersöka hur användandet av digitala verktyg påverkar enskompositionsprocess. Målet var att skriva två låtar innehållande både text och musik.Metoden jag använt är att jag först improviserat fram melodifragment som jag sedan spelat ini inspelningsprogrammet Logic Pro. I programmet har jag sedan spelat in flera spår för attbygga upp harmonier och rytmik kring melodierna. Arbetet har resulterat i en färdig låt sominnehåller både text och musik och en låt som endast innehåller musik..

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine the information needs of gay, lesbian and bisexual adolescents? when they are coming out. I also examine what kind of information they seek and where they might find this information. The purpose is also to examine what role the public or school library plays. The study is conducted through qualitative interviews with gay, lesbian and bisexual adolescents?.

The aim of this Masters thesis is, partly, to examine the information needs of lesbians: what discernable information needs they have, how they seek information and which information sources they use. The purpose is also to examine what part fiction plays regarding the information needs mentioned above and how fiction indexing could improve retrieval. The study is conducted through ten qualitative interviews with lesbians as well as through textual analysis. The theoretical framework includes queer theory and theory concerning information needs and uses. The results indicate that lesbians have evident information needs that mostly concern identity.

Husaberg Scandinavia AB is a company producing and developing a range of motorcycles for both on- and off-road use. Husaberg provided the project group with a task of developing an entirely new way of operating the sequential transmission that can be found in today?s motorcycles. The target was to bring the product from idea to a functional prototype ready for further tests. Operation of the motorcycles transmission is today made by a foot pedal placed on the left hand side of the bike.

This master thesis is a study of a new electronic library reference service-project called Speak instantly to a librarian and the purpose of the thesis is to investigate a new electronic reference service and how the librarians who work with it experience it. This should be seen from an informational society point of view. The study is conducted from two questions: - What needs do the libraries have and how do they argue for the project and the chat-reference service Speak instantly to a librarian? - How do the librarians experience the personal work situation in the new reference service, and its use of chat technology? Together with interviews of a selected group of librarians from the public libraries of Göteborg, Malmö, Nacka and Stockholm, this thesis includes aspects such as the theory of the informational society by Manuel Castells, as well as literary studies of the history of library reference, the development of electronic reference service and the virtual library, and the background and the beginning of the studied project Speak instantly to a librarian. The thesis also contains an overlook of other similar library projects in the United States of America.

The aim of this thesis is to examine the flow of information in an administration of the municipality Borås Stad. To achieve the aim the following questions were asked: How accessible is information? How is information used in the organisation? How is information communicated? Totally sixteen qualitative interviews was accomplished with employees at the administration. The results of the interviews show that there is a difference in how much and what sort of information the respondents use. They all seem to prefer information to be communicated face to face if possible or over the phone.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to investigate how trained social workers experience information in their daily work. The thesis focussed on three major questions: - What type of information and information sources are mostly used by the trained social workers? - What kind of information barriers are described by the participants? - How can the patterns of information seeking and information use be understood on the basis of the trained social workers professional and social context? Semi-structured interviews were carried out with trained social workers working with child welfare enquiries. My theoretical framework consists of user and context oriented theories about classifications of information, information barriers and models of information sources. My conclusions are that trained social workers working with risk assessment in child protection services, need to use different kinds of information in their daily work, such as problem information, domain information and problem-solving information.

Rapporten innehåller inledningsvis en faktadel med allmän information kring temperatursprickor i betong. Här presenteras bl a uppkomsten av fenomenet, vilka typer av sprickor som förekommer och vad ett tvång är. Tanken är att ge läsaren tillräcklig kunskap för att kunna förstå sig på de övriga delarna i rapporten.Resultatet och det huvudsakliga arbetet redovisas i form av tabeller med tillhörande illustrationer där det går att utläsa vilken sprickrisk som förekommer vid flera specifika fall och vilken åtgärd som bör vidtas för att eliminera sprickrisken. Som konstruktör kan du med din egen indata, dvs. dimensioner och temperaturer, följa tabellen och finna resultatet för ditt specifika fall.

The purpose of this Master thesis is to examine theinformation use and information seeking behaviour amongpersons who actively work with information. For this study,interviews have been conducted with a group of six personswho work with information in information intensiveorganizations. The aim is to answer the following questions:What kind of information is connected to the respondents?work tasks? What is the purpose of their search forinformation? Which information sources do they use and whatkind of information sources do they demand? The theoreticalframework consists mainly of Wilsons information needs andinformation seeking model.The results of this study show that none of the respondentshad any strategic model for their work with information. Theinformation that the respondents were searching for is ofdifferent content and depends on the organization in which therespondent operates.

Bakgrund och problemBanker arbetar idag med effektivisering av sina egna verksamheter och försöker få sina kunder allt mindre beroende av bankkontoren. Detta kräver ständig utveckling av de e-tjänster som idag tillhandahålls. För att tillfredsställa företagskunder krävs effektiva tjänster som inte bara effektiviserar bankernas verksamheter utan också dess företagskunder. För att företag skall kunna erhålla efterfrågade e-tjänster måste bankerna vara medvetna om vad som efterfrågas. Det är därför intressant att studera vad företag förväntar sig av bankerna.

Flertalet renodlade e-handelsföretag går i konkurs medan de som utvidgat verksamheten från traditionell handel till att omfatta även e-handel verkar klara sig bättre. Använder sig handlarna av samma hantering för reklamationer vid öppnandet av e-handelsplatsen som de traditionellt gör? Vi formulerade hypotesen: Strukturen av reklamationsflödet ändrar sig inte vid införandet av e-handel. Genom att undersöka de sekventiella reklamationsflödena per företag kunde vi utläsa om det fanns någon skillnad och möjligen varför. Vi genomförde en fallstudie på två företag och resultatet visar att företagen medvetet har så lika hanteringar för reklamationer som tidigare som möjligt.

I dagsläget växer behovet av rätt information vid rätt plats, kontextbaserad information. Med hjälp av iBeacon kan man till en stor utsträckning förse det här behovet med en lösning. I uppsatsen undersöks användningsområden för iBeacon och idéer för hur man kan utveckla lösningar med hjälp av iBeacon. Ett koncept kommer att implementeras för att distribuera kontextbaserad information på mässor. Konceptet utvecklades till iOS och Android.

This thesis deals with the information-seeking behaviour of occupational therapists. Focus was on three different aspects of information-seeking behaviour. The purpose was to investigate how occupational therapists conceive of work-related information needs, their choice and use of formal and informal information sources and their use of the hospital library. Twelve interviews with occupational therapists were conducted at a rehabilitation clinic in a hospital. The theoretical frame consists of a general model of the information-seeking of professionals by Leckie, Pettigrew and Sylvain.

Den digitala teknikens genombrott utgör idag en viktig förutsättning för att vi ska kunna kombinera olika typer av information som tidigare varit avgränsade. Ett resultat av denna mediekonvergens är e-pappret och e-papperstidningen, som inom en snar framtid kommer att finnas ute på marknaden. Begreppet mediekonvergens syftar till de möten som sker då olika medier förenas och bildar nya enheter. Undersökningen som denna uppsats baseras på behandlade e-papperstidningen och de förväntningar, baserat på tidigare erfarenheter, som de tilltänkta användarna har på detta nya medie. Målet var att få fram en bild av de faktorer som har störst betydelse för att tidningsläsarna i framtiden ska välja att läsa sin tidning på e-papper.
