Patientinformation är en viktig del i sjuksköterskans dagliga arbete. Det är av betydelse att ge lämplig och förståelig information inför en undersökning, allt för att få en lugn och förberedd patient. Det är viktigt att kunna anpassa informationen till varje patients behov. Syftet var att lyfta fram patienters upplevelser av information av vårdpersonal inför en koloskopiundersökning. Frågeställningar; Hur upplever patienten informationen som ges innan en koloskopiundersökning? Vad önskar patienten att få för information innan en koloskopiundersökning? Metoden utgick ifrån analys av materialet med en fenomenografisk ansats för att ta reda på skilda upplevelser av ett fenomen.

Dagens företag befinner sig i komplexa nätverk av interagerande företag, då de tillsammans kan nå ett högre värde. Varje interaktion innebär att företagen delger information, detta kan ske elektroniskt via Electronic Data Interchange, EDI, (Johansson, 1994). Sättet att styra och leda EDI har blivit en nyckelfaktor hos de flesta IS (Informations System) chefer. EDI-prestationer skiljer sig ofta företag emellan och därför är det viktigt att förstå vilka faktorer som påverkar EDI-utförandet (Lee & Lim, 2003). Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva hur EDI-prestation påverkas vid en fusion av två företag och hur företag kan arbeta proaktivt för att EDI-prestationen skall utvecklas. Studien är en kvalitativ fallstudie, på företaget X som befinner sig i stundande fusionsarbete, en deduktiv ansats har tillämpats.

This study focuses on the encounter between the academic librarian and the academic library user with a specific need for information. The aim of the study is to examine the process of mediation of information and to uncover any inherent problems or systemic inertia that may occur within that process.Special attention has been given to information-seeking behaviour in the digital age and the possibility of viewing information literacy as a meta-literacy. The difference between the surface web and the academic invis- ible web is also investigated. Empirical data was collected by the use of ethnographic fieldwork at the Karolin- ska Institutet University Library over a period of five weeks. The data is analysed using actor-network theory as a point of departure.

This study aims to evaluate the waste management in Norrbottens municipalities in key areas such as possibilities to reach the two national waste goals, information to the public, the effect of legislation, future of waste management and differences in geographic- and demographic areas. The Waste Framework Directive (WFD) issued by the EU and incorporated into Swedish law plays a major part in waste management by defining a hierarchy in five steps how waste should be treated. Interviews conducted with each of the fourteen municipalities aimed to find out what step in the hierarchy they are at and what effect the implementation of EU-legislature into Swedish law has had. Based on the interviews a diverse range of answers was found in relation to the questions asked, generally the more populated municipalities saw a more positive future of waste management, mainly because more developed infrastructure to handle waste is already in place. However the smaller the municipality is the harder it is to allocate resources for waste management and problems arise in the form of expensive transports of waste.

This thesis aims at examining to what extent a few, algorithmically very easily extractable document features can be used to classify electronic documents according to genre. A set of experiments is therefore carried out, using only 11 such simple features in an attempt to classify 84 documents belonging to electronic academic journals into three manually identified genres: table of contents, article, and review. The 11 features are also divided into three sets, containing metrics of words and sentences; punctuation marks; and URL links, respectively. The performance when using these sets of features is then measured with regard to classification accuracy, using a k-NN classifier, four different values of k (1, 3, 5, 7), and both leave-one-out and 10-fold cross-validation. The purpose of this master´s thesis was to investigate the role and function of the annual reports of public libraries: for what purpose are they put together and how are they evaluated and utilised. The study presents different views on the structure and content of library annual reports. Focusing on a specific public library and its municipal administration, the authors identify and describe problems and possibilities regarding the library annual reports. The study also provides a general view of their occurrence, their addressees and the importance attached to them.In a review of current literature on accounting and activity reports the authors place the annual reports of public libraries in a wider context. The study also presents two current models of performance measurement - the Intangible Assets Monitor and the Balanced Scorecard - which were developed in the private sector, and the authors discuss their relevance when applied to public libraries.Data were collected both in interviews and by means of a questionnaire.

Ett problem för dagens organisationer är hur information sprids och vem som tar del av denna information. Detta informationsöverflöd innebär att den information som sprids inom en organisation måste ha mening, syfte och vara av relevans för personalen och för att kunna begränsa informationsmängden måste personalens upplevelse av informationen tas i beaktande. Studien har genomförts med teorier om informationsspridning och kunskapsutbyte. Inriktningen på arbetet har varit mellan ansvarig chef och anställda inom en organisation. Den informationsspridning som sker inom den undersökta organisationen är i grupp, individuella träffar samt virtuella forum.

The aim of this study is to examine how teachers and school librarians view the concept of information literacy in relation to their students, and to find factors that affect their undertakings to make their students information literate. In order to accomplish this, qualitative interviews have been carried out with teachers and school librarians at four Swedish junior high schools. The theoretical framework of this study is the seven faces of information literacy developed by Christine Bruce. The empirical material has been analysed firstly by finding themes that are of importance for the work with information literacy, and secondly by placing the interviewees? commentaries on information literacy in Bruce´s seven faces of information literacy.

The aim of this paper is to present a case study that increases the understanding of pooled purchasing between independent companies, but also acknowledges the importance of relationships. While previous research has established the advantages and disadvantages of pooled purchasing, our paper shows that successful relationships can render additional synergies and benefits. At the same time, one must consider the time and resources needed to create successful relationships as well as the resulting interdependencies. These implications are well established within the field of purchasing and network theories. However, the authors believe that these implications need to be more explored in regards to pooled purchasing..

SammanfattningBakgrund: Diabetes typ 2 är en av de stora folksjukdomarna i västvärlden och numer även i utvecklingsländerna. Då patienterna är i behov av korrekt information för att lära sig att hantera och leva med sjukdomen är det viktigt att sjuksköterskor har kunskap om hur patienterna upplever information från vården. Syfte: Syftet var att utforska vad för erfarenheter patienter med diabetes typ två har av information från vården. Metod: En litteraturstudie som är baserad på tidigare forskning om diabetes typ två och information. Tolv vetenskapliga artiklar med kvalitativ ansats har analyserats med textanalys. Resultat: Resultatet i denna uppsats visar att patienterna efterlyser information som är anpassad till dem som unika individer och som är lätt att förstå och hantera, då de behöver verktyg för sin egenvård. Fyra teman som framkom: Svårigheter att ta emot och anpassa sig efter information, Information anpassad till att klara av dagligt liv, Skillnader på information från läkaren och sjuksköterskan och Anpassad information. Diskussion: Resultatet diskuteras bl a i förhållande till Orems teori kring egenvård. Då patienterna ofta har svårt att anpassa till sin sjukdom behöver de stöd i form av information för att klara av att leva ett så normalt liv som möjligt.

The first of May 2005 changes were made in the Annual Accounts Act. The 2006 Annual Report of companies with more than ten employees or assets over 24 million SEK must include environmental information in the directors' report if it affects the company's development, result or position. A survey made by KPMG 2007 investigating the environmental information of companies listed on Large Cap Segment of the OMX Stockholm exchange showed that only a third of the companies, included in the survey, complied with the new law requirements. I have examined how the environmental information in the directors' report is formulated and why the information is formulated in that fashion. I have examined seven companies listed on the Large Cap Segment of the OMX Stockholm exchange. Four companies from the materials sector and three banks from the financials sector were included in the survey.

AbstractThe aim of this study was to find out how patients with type-2 diabetes reflected on self-care and the information about selfcareactivites regarding diabetic footulcers.The study has a descriptive design with a qualitative approach. The study included fourteen patients with type-2 diabetes and they had footulcers related to their disease. They were recruited from different health centres in two cities in the Middle Sweden. The patients were interviewed and the interviewes were transcribed and worked up with qualitative content analysis. The authors recived seven subcategories which were sorted into two categories; reflection regarding information about self-care and reflection regarding self-care.

Companies need to receive feedback in order to understand how they should adjust to shifting demands in the market. This study focuses on the Mystery Shopping process and the information it provides. Through qualitative interviews information was gathered which identifies Mystery Shopping as an approach where companies actively seek information withthe help of anonymous ?shoppers?. This method is compared to other research methods in order to identify the characteristics of Mystery Shopping.

The aims of the thesis are to describe ways to obtain information needed for teaching andlearning practical and artistic subjects at a folk high school, to look into which part the library plays in this search for information, and finally, to see what the library can do to meet the information needs existing arnong teachers and students of arts and craft.Qualitative interviews were made with four teachers, seven students and one librarian atone folk high school, providing data for the thesis. The results indicate five main ways to obtain information among the persons interviewed:through books, by their own work process, by sensuous experience, throughcommunication with other people, and by the master of the craft passing on his/herknowledge to the apprentice.In this thesis some suggestions are also given for helping the library to meet the information needs of people involved in arts and craft work..
