This report is the result of a master thesis at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Division of Industrial and Economical Development, at Linköping University of Technology. The project was carried out on behalf of Fanerami AB, Mjölby and includes 20 weeks of full time schedule work.Cabinets with vertical mounted roller shutters all share the same problem, namely weight balancing. A roller shutter has an equilibrium area where the sum of the different forces acting on the shutter equals zero. As the shutter leaves that area it will pick up speed as it falls towards the bottom. When the shutter hits the bottom of the cabinet there is a potential risk of getting fingers caught and in this project a solution to prevent this from happening was to be presented.In this project, three concepts have been generated with the following different purposes:?In concept 1 the risk of getting any fingers caught when the shutter closes was to be eliminated in an efficient and inexpensive way.?In concept 2 the roller shutter had to be balanced at all time providing the possibility to keep the cabinet open in any position.?The last and most challenging task was to create a remote controlled TV cabinet.

Onyttiga vägsamfälligheter är ett problem som uppstått under äldre tiders fastighetsbildning och är idag en olägenhet för lantmätare och fastighetsägare i många förrättningsärenden. Detta arbete har syftat till att studera de metoder för utplåning av onyttiga vägsamfälligheter för att slutligen ge förslag på möjliga lösningar. Studier har gjorts av en utredning, en proposition, förrättningsakter och rättsfall med fokus på städning av fastighetsindelningen. De förrättningsakter som studerats innehåller fastighetsregleringsåtgärder som verkar för utplåning av onyttiga samfälligheter och sanering av fastighetsindelningen. Förrättningarna innefattade ett eller flera större områden med ett stort antal fastigheter.

Syfte och frågeställningar: Syftet var att genom en tvärsnittsstudie ta reda på om det fanns asymmetrier mellan dominant och icke-dominant ben hos skadefria kvinnliga fotbollsspelare gällande sagittal knälaxitet. Frågeställningar i studien var: Hur stor är den anteriora och posteriora knälaxiteten i dominant respektive icke-dominant ben uppmätt med KT-1000 vid belastningar på 20 lb, 30 lb samt vid ett manuellt maxtest i anterior riktning? Föreligger det någon sidoskillnad mellan dominant och icke-dominant ben gällande knälaxitet uppmätt med KT-1000 vid anteriora och posteriora belastningar på 20 lb, 30 lb samt vid ett manuellt maxtest i anterior riktning? Hur stor andel av deltagarna uppvisar en sidoskillnad av sagittal knälaxitet på ? 2 mm respektive ? 3 mm uppmätt med KT-1000 och hur är frekvensen fördelad mellan dominant och icke-dominant ben hos dessa?Metod: För att besvara syfte och frågeställningar genomfördes en tvärsnittsstudie där 56 kvinnliga fotbollsspelare inom Division 1-2 deltog. Samtliga deltagare var ? 18 år, skadefria och hade spelat fotboll i minst 5 år.

The main objective with this study was to investigate so called odd purposes acceptable when registrating property along with how social development affects these purposes, furthermore to investigate how the cadastral surveyors estimates a foreseeable time. Tradition and praxis is used for several obvious purposes such as housing, farming, forests, offices and industry. Praxis is yet to be defined regarding more unique purposes. There is no mention in the law about which purposes are found acceptable to assure the demands on suitability are met. Cadastral authorities are responsible for making sure the Division into property units is uniform and rule of law-accordingly.

Background and aim: Organizations must be able to manage change in order to survive in today?s competitive society. To continue to develop and reach better results is fundamental. Case Company Parker Hannifin Corporation, Quick Coupling Division Europe, Tema Ingenjörsfirman AB, Skövde has an ambition to have an organization that manage changes and continuously improve its performance. That is the reason why this examination work arises.

Uppsatsens utgångspunkt var en förfrågan från en Division vid ett framgångsrikt industriföretag. Företaget genomförde nyligen en omorganisation och ett antal nya mellanchefer rekryterades. Det fanns inget introduktionsprogram för chefer vid Divisionen, vilket skulle kunna bidra till en tryggare och bättre start för de nya cheferna ur ett lärperspektiv. För organisationen kan ett sådant program medverka till att chefer med utvecklingspotential väljer att stanna kvar vid företaget och gör karriär.Syftet med uppsatsen var att analysera hur förutsättningarna för och behovet av stöd och utvecklingsinsatser ser ut för nya mellanchefer under introduktionsperioden. Analysen var utgångspunkt för utformandet av ett introduktionsprogram vid den aktuella Divisionen.

Syfte och ForskningsfrågorSyftet med uppsatsen är att skapa förståelse för hur relationen och rollfördelningen mellan managers och artister kan se ut och vad som påverkar detta, samt hur manageryrket har påverkats av den förändring som skett i musikbranschen i och med den tekniska utvecklingen.För att nå upp till detta syfte har vi arbetat med tre forskningsfrågor:Vilka roller och vilken arbetsfördelning finns mellan managers och artister?Hur ser managers relationer till deras artister ut och vad påverkar detta?Hur påverkar nya förutsättningar managerns roll och relation till artister?MetodVår forskning har haft en induktiv ansats då vi ville utgå ifrån empirin och låta de intervjuades berättelser styra uppsatsens riktning. Vi valde en kvalitativ metod då vi ville få en bild av hur våra intervjupersoner själva upplevde sina roller och relationer. Vår empiriska studie består av intervjuer med 6 managers och 4 artister.SlutsatserVi har genom vår analys och slutdiskussion sett att roller, arbetsfördelning och relationer mellan managers och artister kan se väldigt olika ut från fall till fall. I grunden anses att artisten ska ansvara för de kreativa delarna och managern för de affärsmässiga delarna av artistskapet.

Försvarsmarknaden kännetecknas idag av snabba förändringar med minskande marginaler vilket ställer nya krav på de aktörer som har en långsiktig ambition att vara kvar på marknaden. På grund av att Försvarets MaterielVerk (FMV) numera tar in internationella anbud på alla upphandlingar kommer SaabTech, som fram till idag har varit en betydande leverantör till FMV, inom den närmaste framtiden mötas av en betydligt större konkurrens inom den militära kundsektorn. Detta innebär att SaabTech måste öka sin civila marknadsandel och dessutom söka sig till nya vägar för fortsatt lönsamhet. Ett steg i detta arbete är att kunna mäta kundernas uppfattning för att finna potentiella förbättringsområden. Bakgrunden till detta examensarbete är att SaabTech upplever att det idag saknas en mätmetod för kundtillfredsställelse, dels på grund av det stärkta kravet i den nya ISO- standarden och dels på grund av företagets ökande krav på lönsamhet.

New forms of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) have become more influential in development contexts. The concept of ?The Digital Divide? points at a large Division between rich and poor countries regarding access to ICTs. Critics say that the debate concerning this topic for far too long has focused mainly on the technology itself rather than social factors which impact social inclusion and development. Scholars agree that ICTs holds a tremendous potential, but how is this implemented in development contexts and how can it be used with more sensitivity towards local preconditions and social aspects?This paper aims to examine how ICTs are being used in the context of development within an India based organisation for women called SEWA (Self Employed Women?s Association).

The understanding of the role of nature for rehabilitation of both physical and psychological afflictions has greatly increased in the last few years. There?s a lot of science that describes the healing effects of nature. The rehabilitation garden in Alnarp has contributed with very positive results from the treatments of patients with burnout syndrome. A type of communication that also is expensive.The Swedish political party Feministiskt initiativ (Fi) have existed since 2005 and is not yet a part of the Swedish parliament. They have not been entitled to the economic support that is given to Swedish parties with more than 2,5 percent of the votes in the last two elections. As a result Fi is completely dependent on economic contributions.

Trade was assigned as a Community responsibility at the founding of the European Community in 1957. It was then recognized that Europe would achieve a greater international influence if it were to negotiate trade deals with one voice. Since then, the basic rule has been that the European Commission negotiates agreements on behalf of the EC, and presents the agreements negotiated for approval in the European Council. Today, the 25-member European Union is the largest trading power in the world, and most member states have decades of experience of coordinating their national trade interests into a common position. However, partly as a result of the complex nature of the trade decision-making processes it is sometimes problematic to identify who or what really influences EU trade policy.

This thesis is made on behalf of SCA's Forestry Division and is a comparison of two bucking simulation tools: Aptan (manufactured by Skogforsk) and Best/upr (from Berget Systemdesign). The data is based on 32 stands from SCA's forests in Norrbotten and Västerbotten. The objective is to compare the simulations created by the tools with the harvested volumes from those stands. Three variables are needed for the bucking simulation; these are the diameter distribution (at breast height), the relationship function between diameter and height, and the taper coefficients. The volumes of five different assortments from the stands are compared.

Fish-head pendants are one of the characteristic Gotlandic Late Iron Age artefacts. This object has been rather neglected and mainly considered as an insignificant embellishment, normally worn as a neck-collar and seen as an artefact include in the typical Gotlandic set of female jewellery.The fact that the fish-head pendant has a very long life span, which stretches from grave-finds in the Early Vendel Age to hoards in Viking Age as well as secondary usage as brooches in the Early Middle Ages, makes the artefact an excellent starting point for discussions on social practices and change through material culture. It's shown in this study that, contrary to previous beliefs, the normal usages for fish-head pendants is as solitary pendants and not as neck-collars. Neck-collars is shown to have an intricate relation to inhumations for young individuals, whereas solitary pendants are found in cremation deposits for adult individuals, something that relates to a fixed social practice mainly in the period 700-900 AD and that develops from the cremation funeral practice. This particular social practice relates to aspects of attraction and protection and continues in to the 10th century outside of funeral structures, which is shown by the composition of hoard-finds from the 10th century, but is totally absent when the pendants is given a secondary usage as brooches in the end of the 11th and beginning of the 12th century.
