A distributed hydrological rainfall-runoff model has been developed using a GIS integrated with a dynamic programming module (PCRaster). The model has been developed within the framework of the EU-project TWINBAS at IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute, and is intended for use in WATSHMAN ? a tool for watershed management developed at IVL. The model simulates runoff from a catchment based on daily mean values of temperature and precipitation. The GIS input data consist of maps with soil type, land-use, lakes, rivers and a digital elevation model.

This report is a study in voltagelevel in connection with regeneration of brake energy from the tramtype M31 in Gothenburg.In the act of braking, the tram M31 uses electrical braking where the electrical motors generates energy and if possible send it back to the overheadline, where other trams in the nearby can use this regenerated energy for its own driving force. In cases where no other energyconsumers are located in the same section, there is a resistance witch task is to convert this energy into heat. The regulation of this resistance appears to cause an increase in the voltagelevel into far too high levels.Investigations of the trams regulationequipment and its construction have been done. Further have measurements on the overheadline been performed in order to map the voltagevariations during a longer period of time.The result have been showing that the voltagelevel during regeneration often is as high as 880V-920V, more extreme values have not been observed in a large scale. The values are especially high compared to the nominal voltagelevel.

Jag vill med denna undersökning ta reda på vilka olika upplevelser elever kan ha vid arbete med praktisk matematik. Litteraturen inom området visar att omkring 50% av eleverna i skolår 7-9 tycker att matematik är roligt, och att praktisk matematik kan förändra dessa attityder positivt. I min undersökning väljer jag att observera en klass med elever i skolår 6 när de genomför praktiska moment samt att intervjua 12 stycken av dessa elever. Jag finner att de bl.a. upplever praktisk matematik som variation från att räkna i boken samt att det är roligt att klippa, klistra och måla.

This literature review summarizes available data on infection with the parasitic roundworm, Ascaridia galli, as a cause of disease in poultry, including the consequences of a conversion to alternative production systems. Ascaridia galli has a direct life cycle with resistant eggs that survive and are easily spread in the environment, especially in systems with bedding materials where the faecal contact is high. The infection is usually subclinical but depending on the infection dose, the symptoms range from weight loss and diarrhea to mortality. Factors such as the feed composition and genetic variation among different hybrids clearly affect the establishment rate of the infection. Ascaridia galli will probably become an increasing problem, with a shift from the traditional battery cages to alternative systems where the risk of re-infection is high.

In this study, the sea trout (Salmo trutta) spawning migration was studied in the river Själsöån, Gotland, to assess the main external factors determining upstream migration and seasonal changes in fish parameters. Additionally population trends were studied by examination of old data. The most important external factors for upstream migration were the air pressure, air temperature and wind direction. No significant difference was found between when males and females migrated upstream. Larger females in better condition started migration earlier than the smaller females in poorer condition.

This qualitative study aims to investigate some secondary school teacers' attitudes to and experiences of motivation in their second language classrooms. Through qualitative interviews with five teachers some different perspectives on motivation and its function in second language acquisition have come to light. First, motivation is seen as something important and some teachers tend to distinguish between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Those who do so tend to value intrinsic motivation more highly. Secondly, teachers believe they can affect students' levels of motivation.

Vad gäller relationen mellan budget och Balanced Scorecard har fyra dimensioner utkristalliserats. Dessa är den sekventiella-, kompletterande-, dominerande- och strategiska dimensionen. I stort kontrasterar WM-data Utilities och Lunds Energi företaget Alfa Laval i förhållande till relationen. I alla tre företagen kan observeras att både budget och Balanced Scorecard fungerar vad gäller strategiimplementering. Budgetens roll vad gäller strategiimplementering försvagas då modellen i huvudsak endast berör medarbetare i centrala positioner inom företagen.

Arbetslösheten bland unga vuxna är idag hög i Sverige. Detta samhällsproblem förebyggs bland annat genom arbetsmarknadspolitiska åtgärder. Denna sociologiska studie bygger på kvalitativ metod och baseras på tio intervjuer. Studien undersöker inställningar kring det arbetsmarknadspolitiska projektet ?100 satsningen? hos anställande chefer samt deltagare i projektet.

Vi har undersökt hur fritidshemmets och fritidspedagogens yrkesroll kan se ut och dess betydelse för barnen. Arbetet tar sin utgångspunkt utifrån George H. Meads (1976) tankar kring symbolisk interaktionism dvs. människan formas av erfarenheter från sociala gemenskaper. Studien har genomförts med hjälp av en kvalitativ metod som innefattar semistrukturerade intervjuer med barn och pedagoger.Det vi har kommit fram till är att fritidspedagogens yrkesroll är mångfasetterad, vilket kan innebära en stor variation i arbetsuppgifter.

Ämnesbakgrund:Bröstcancer är idag den vanligaste cancersjukdomen hos kvinnor. Under dom senaste åren har antalet bröstcancer diagnoser mer än fördubblats. Syftet var att beskriva kvinnors upplevelser av att leva med bröstcancer. Metod: Systematisk litteraturstudie baserad på tio vetenskapliga artiklar som analyserades med hjälp av innehållsanalys. Resultat: Analysen resulterade i fyra teman; Jaget, personligt nätverk, existentiell medvetenhet och livskvalitet.

För att skapa starka relationer krävs att företagets resurser används rätt. Kundportföljanalys (KPA) är en modell som används för att segmentera ett företags kunder i olika kundgrupper för att på så vis skapa underlag som tillåter företaget att utveckla strategier för varje kundgrupp. Det tillåter företaget att fördela sina begränsade resurser på ett så effektivt sätt som möjligt i syfte att stärka företagets kundrelationer.

Bemanningsbranschen har eskalerat under 2000-talet och är här för att stanna. Branschen är enorm och avser att underlätta samhällets arbetssituation. För många unga är det den första språngbrädan in på arbetsmarknaden. Arbetstillfredsställelse och motivation är en viktig aspekt att ta till vara på i rekryterarnas vardag för att kontinuerligt behålla den goda atmosfären. Syftet med studien är att undersöka vilka faktorer som är utmärkande för rekryterarnas arbetstillfredsställelse.
