Thesis purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the interdependencies within the process of partner selection in the fashion and design sector and the emanating criteria for finding the ideal co-branding partner in order to use co-branding as a strategic brand activation tool. Methodology: Multiple Case Study Theoretical perspective: Brand Building and Brand Activation, Relationship Marketing, Strategic Alliances, Affinity Partnering, Co-Branding, Consumer-Brand Relationships Empirical data: Interviews with expert consultants and company representatives (adidas, BMW, BMW MINI, Diesel, H&M, Opel, Philips, Sharp, Volkswagen) Conclusion: Partner selection depends decisively on the different co-branding aims and incorporates the crucial step when using co-branding as a tool for strategic brand activation. In my study, I have chosen to examine how the user interface and content must conform to design guidelines for responsive design makes it suitable for diverse desktop environment and for varied mobile platforms. The purpose of this study is to examine the extent recommended design guidelines based on scientific research has a positive impact on user performance and perception when using this study delivered hi-fi prototype. The goal of this study is to provide a Hi-Fi prototype with high usability that will introduce and inform the public about BrasilCine according specifications. This report describes and explains the development of a comprehensive solution including visual identity, print catalog, website and online shop for the furniture company Resize Design. The development and production of these have occurred in the iterative processes with relevant theories as a basis. The theories include user-centered work processes, usability, design principles, interaction design, design patterns and web-compatible solutions. The report documents and discusses the work which is divided into different phases. .

Bakgrund: För att kunna stilla kunders behov och skapa kvalitet och därigenom värde, krävs kunskap. Två teoribildningar som talar om värde och kvalitet respektive kunskap var för sig är Service Management och Knowledge Management. Service Management är huvudsakligen externt orienterad medan Knowledge Management är näst intill uteslutande internt orienterad, vilket medför att vissa "spänningar" återfinns dem emellan. Frågan är hur dessa"spänningar"hanteras i kunskapsföretags värdeskapande. Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att analysera vad Service respektive Knowledge Management bidrar till i förståelsen för kunskapsföretags värdeskapande.

Vi valde detta projekt i syfte att bredda våra kunskaper inom både programmering och projekthantering. Denna slutreflektion tar upp den förundersökning vi gjorde för att kunna besluta om vilka verktyg vi använde i utvecklingen, den tar även upp vårt sätt att hantera och planera projektet. Creating instructions is not just about words, but also about text structure. A company creates many instructions to document their management systems, which often are presented through an intranet. This study examines how the text can be presented to make content understandable and give employees the knowledge to take action. An interview survey was made at Skanska Sweden and their management system "Vårt sätt att arbeta". The results show that it is mainly about creating an overview of the system and creating separations between different text sections.

When we, in the turn of the year 07/08 moved to Holma, Malmö,I and my cohabiter immediately joined the self-managementon our tenement yard, partly because we both missed havinga garden since we moved to an apartment, partly becauseof the rent reduction. The aim with this thesis is to examinehow the common outdoor environment in tenement yards isaffected when the tenets themselves are responsible for themaintenance. But also to see what social affects self-managementbrings. The purpose is to increase the understanding of howself-management works in practice and how we as landscapearchitects need to adjust ourselves and our design to create alasting design that works when the tenets are in charge of theirown outdoor environment.I have been studying a number of tenement yards with selfmanagement,both municipal and private tenement houses. I havestudied both their design and their self-management, how it isworking and how it is organized partly trough deep interviewsand also by questionnaires to the tenets of the yards in question.I found three tenement yards with some differences.

The web sites of Swedish public libraries display a high level of heterogeneity when it comes to design and graphical user interface. The thesis is based on the opinion that the visuals of a public library web site have implications for the user as well as for the library. The design of the graphical user interface influences the attention of the user and his/her ability to absorb information. Furthermore, there is a connection between the visuals and the users opinion about the credibility of the content of the web site, as well as of the organisation itself. The research question is: Which factors may have an impact on the design of the graphical user interfaces of a public library web site? The purpose is to create an understanding for these factors and emphasize them.

A performance measurement system can be used as a means to evaluate past performances and to communicate prioritizations. It has also been proposed that a performance measurement system can serve as a method to execute strategies, guide in operational decisions and constitute a tool for making the organization more efficient. Yet one may question if such a system will ever reach this capacity if operating managers do not utilize it as a management tool, but rather treat it as a mere report in the bunch. This paper explores how middle managers in fact apply performance measures and what obstacles there are to integrating them in the management of subunits. Furthermore it serves to investigate whether these managers experience a conflict between how they are expected to use the measures and what they deem possible to adopt.

Design Patterns introducerades på 1990-talet och användningen sades medföra en rad fördelar som skulle hjälpa systemutvecklare i deras arbete. Bland annat skulle Design Patterns underlätta för systemutvecklarna att kommunicera med varandra samt ge en bättre överblick över och förståelse för systemarkitektur genom en höjd abstraktionsnivå. Systemutvecklaren skulle även få en ökad förståelse för god design. Två kritiska artiklar fick oss att vilja beskriva hur systemutvecklare som aktivt arbetar med Design Patterns upplever att centrala fördelar uppfylls. Vi genomförde fyra fallstudier där vi intervjuade erfarna systemutvecklare och vår slutsats är att de upplever att fördelarna med Design Patterns uppfylls.

A current issue today is to try to implement creative design as a way to solve wicked problems in scientific contexts such as HCI. Since the problems are wicked, they have no given solution which makes the traditional methods inadequate. In these cases, creative design can be an alternative. Creative design is not used in scientific contexts because it is viewed as something unaccountable.In this essay we argue that creative design not necessarily have to be unaccounted. We discuss various views of creative design and translate theory to a practical context.

The law firm industry has during the last years met new demanding conditions and one tool to handle these new conditions has been to implement a Knowledge Management system. Large investments have been made in these Knowledge Management systems but the implementations have met many challenges from within the organizations.With a multiple study, based on interviews with Knowledge Management Managers included in a Knowledge Management network, this thesis aims to study the challenges with Knowledge Management and the underlying causes. The result, based on McDermott's theories shows challenges within technical, personal, social and management areas where the law firm need to shift a focus from Information to Knowledge Management, create a culture of trust and integration and use the informal powerbase.The causes for these challenges are found in the base of Mintzbergs theories of Professional bureaucracy where the Knowledge Management is affected by strong self-regulated individualist, a divided organizational structure and industry conditions..

The purpose of this study was to identify the positive and negative aspects of the work and dynamics of a management team and from that recommend how the team can improve. The aim was also to investigate whether there was a gap between how the members of the management team comprehend themselves and how the project, section and team managers comprehend the management team. The management team contains of seven core team members and is the head function of a research and development site in central Sweden. The results are based on interviews with the present members of the management team and three former members, a survey among the project, section and team managers and by participating observation on meetings with the team. The results show that the management team is an overall well-functioning team that with some changes and improvements, especially concerning communication and information, can reach even further.
