This report is an outcome of a master degree project at Linköpings University in co-operation with Micronic Laser Systems AB. The purpose with this master degree project was to investigate how to implement a receiver in a data transfer system. The system consists of several data channels, where every channel consists of three parts: driver, transmission lines and receiver. The driver send low amplitude differential signals via the transmission lines to the receiver that amplifies and converts it to a single-ended signal. The receiver has to be fast and be able to feed an output signal with high voltage swing.

Införande av nya IT-system inom organisationer bidrar till att stora ändringar sker i de anställdas arbetssätt och kan därmed leda till att motstånd till det nya sättet att arbeta på uppstår.Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur implementeringen av ett nytt IT-system mottagits av sektionscheferna inom Ljungby kommun.Studien hade en öppen ansats med syfte att få fram ny information från intervjupersonerna men i vissa fall användes också ledande frågor. Tillförlitligheten i studien uppstod i form av att fem intervjuer genomfördes och informationen som framkom var till stor del likadan. Validiteten uppstod då ett flertal sektioner deltog i undersökningen vilket gjorde att resultatet kunde appliceras på sektionerna inom Ljungby Kommun och därmed ses som giltigt. Generalisering av resultatet kunde göras på de olika sektionerna inom Ljungby Kommun.Studien genomfördes genom att fem slumpmässigt utvalda personer inom olika sektioner inom Ljungby Kommun intervjuades. Resultatet av intervjuerna analyserades sedan mot olika teorier till exempel förändringar, kommunikation, kulturer i organisationer, kravinsamling och användbarhet av system.

We are living in network society, where information and communication together with the technical development stands in the centre. Characteristic for network society is quick changes, new meaning of time and space, convergence and new possibilities of communication. Network society contains new technical developments, several with thepurpose to improve the possibilities of communication between human beings, which in some ways creates new social demands and expectations. In this study, I focus on the Internet, which is an important channel for the information, communication and marketing in network society. As whole network society, the Internet is constantly developing.This study, implemented with qualitative interviews, has the purpose to give new, deep and interesting knowledge about business to business companies? communication and marketing on the Internet.

Idag används till största del fossila bränslen inom den svenska transportsektorn. Sverige har som mål att ha en fossilfri fordonsflotta år 2030. För att klara det målet krävs en snabb och stor omställning. I detta projekt har biodrivmedelsproduktion integrerat i sågverk studerats. Integrationerna har studerats ur ett ekonomiskt, resurs- och miljömässigt perspektiv.Etanol och metanol producerat från skogsråvara via enzymatisk hydrolys respektive förgasning är de biodrivmedel som studerats i två separata fallstudier.

In soundscape research, the field?s methods can be employed in combination with approaches involving sound quality attributes in order to create a deeper understanding of sound images and soundscapes and how these may be described and designed. The integration of four methods are outlined, two from the soundscape domain and two from the sound engineering domain. This study has shown that by combining these methods the understanding of both the entire soundscape and the specific sounds increase. The study also shows that when the methods are used, there is a qualitative change of the description and understanding of soundscapes and the concrete description becomes more elaborate..

Förskolan är ofta den första kontakten som nyanlända barn får med det svenska samhället. Därför har förskolan en viktig uppgift att fylla i mottagandet av nyanlända barn och deras familjer. Läroplanen för förskolan (Lpfö98) betonar vikten av att ge barn med utländsk bakgrund stöd i utvecklandet av en dubbel kulturtillhörighet. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att klargöra hur förskollärare belyser alla barns kulturtillhörighet. Eftersom förskolan spelar en viktig roll för nyanlända barns första tid i ett nytt samhälle, vill vi med examensarbetet visa hur betydelsefull förskollärares synsätt och bemötande är.

Användandet av alternativa behandlingsmetoder, däribland akupunktur, ökar i många länder. Enligt WHO ska varje medlemsland verka för en ökad integration mellan skolmedicin och komplementär- och alternativmedicin. Enligt Socialstyrelsen bör sjuksköterskor söka information och implementera ny kunskap i den skolmedicinska sjukvården. Syftet var att undersöka patienters upplevelser av att ha valt och erhållit alternativ behandling med akupunktur för sina besvär. Ansatsen är en kvalitativ intervjustudie med narrativ metod där manifest innehållsanalys användes för analysen.

In November 2010, The Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (Sveriges Kommuner och Landsting) distributed a survey where 53 % of the responding municipalities declared that they use Twitter. Out of the municipalities that declared they did not use social media, 49 % answered that they were planning on using it but that they had not gotten started. The purpose with social media was primarily declared to be maintaining dialogue with citizens and a channel for information.The informal ?twittersphere? is a new environment for the conventionally formal government communication, and with it comes an entirely new set of demands on the style and content of texts, compared to other media. The purpose of my work was to present a style proposal for the public sector?s communication on Twitter, with the help of theory and empirical data.My methods consisted of text analysis and qualitative interviews.

Frågan som uppsatsen vill ha svar på är om integrationspolitiken överhuvudtaget fungerar eller om de politiska partierna är så oense i frågan att det inte är möjligt att komma överens om vilka åtgärder som behövs. Hur vill de politiska partierna åtgärda följande: Invandrarnas svårigheter att få jobb, Bostadssegregationen och SFI (svenska för invandrare) Utifrån integrationsverkets rapport (Rapport integration 2001) vill författaren även studera hur problemen kring invandrarnas arbetsmöjligheter och bostadssegregation ser ut. Tanken med detta är att det ska var möjligt att förklara partiernas integrationspolitik och varför integrationen sker så långsamt, om den nu överhuvudtaget sker..

2007, Swedish television, ?Uppdrag granskning,? aired their story about ?Louise? from Vetlanda. A drug dependent father had gotten custody of his daughter and sexually abused her from the age of 10 to 15. The local social services got several notifications about Louise suffering of negligence, and did investigate the family several times without taking any actions to protect her. At one time, father and daughter were living in his trailer placed in a gravel pit, and the police worried about her and called social services, because it was below cero degrees outside.

We live in a time where the influence of citizens is taking a larger role in the spatial planning. The Swedish laws, such as PBL, deals with matters of citizen participation which advocates that the youth should be included in the consultation circuit, but there is no directive given.  The report's purpose is to demonstrate methods for how to get the young people's influence included in the spatial planning, with a main focus on the ages between 13 and 21. On the base of literature and two case studies, the goal is to illustrate how to integrate young people through a meeting place in Jonkoping, Sweden. The report is structured along with an analysis based on the literature, two case studies from previous projects and discussions/interviews with young people from four selected areas in Jonkoping.  The case studies from Malmo and Gothenburg show how the cooperation between different participants can be organized during the planning and how to give the users a greater involvement. Based on literature and case studies, we carried out a field analysis of the four most segregated areas of Jonkoping; Osterangen, Oxnehaga, Ekhagen and Raslatt.

Tourism is a growing industry that brings in a lot of money each year, range ofactivities increases and people travel more than ever before. More and more chooseto move from rural areas to larger towns, at the same time when people are travellingthey want to visit quieter places that can offer outdoor experiences in the nature. Thisis something that tourism businesses located in rural areas have a great advantage of.But when the range is large, it becomes important for firms to communicate with themarket, to make the tourists choose to visit them.The purpose of this study is to investigate which media channels and target groupsthat tourism businesses use and how they reflect on the importance of communicatewith the market. To find this out, interviews have been conducted with tree differententrepreneur, all located in Jämtland. The theory?s that has been used is strategiccommunication, public relations, market communication, media channels, socialmedia and target groups.The result shows that all companies think that thecommunication with the market is an important part in the work with the company.The communication gets the business a chance to be seen and it becomes more easilyto create relationships with the stakeholders.

Problemdiskussion: Fallföretaget Tritello har resursproblem i sitt produktutvecklingsarbete. För att utreda detta ställs Ett antal frågor som behandlar kartläggningen av företaget, utformningen av en arbetsmodell för produktutveckling, hur produktutveckling i nätverk kan vara en lösning på företagets resursproblem samt hur arbetet med produktutvecklingsstrategin bör bedrivas. Syfte: Syftet med arbetet är att skapa en arbetsmodell för Tritellos produktutveckling samt en struktur för framtagningen av produktutvecklingsstrategin. Metod:Arbetets metod förankras i det så kallade systemsynsättet eftersom vi anser att det passar bra för att uppnå arbetets mål. Med utgångspunkt i detta metodsynsätt hanterar vi sedan de olika valsituationer som uppstår under arbetets gång kring fallstudier, datainsamling och källkritik.
