Varumärkesuppbyggnad och Marknadskommunikation i Svenska Fotbollsklubbar : En fallstudie på BK Forward & KIF Örebro

Background                      European football has during the past decades seen a fast development towards a more professionalized and commercialized climate. This had led to the fact that a lot of clubs are run like any other company, and the focus on marketing and market shares has increased. To be able to create a strong brand clubs have to put a lot of work into marketing, not only of their own brand, but of their sponsors and partners as well.Purpose                              The purpose of this study is to (in step 1) analyze how two smaller Swedish football clubs build their brand and work with their marketing communication. In step 2, the purpose is to create a model of how these clubs may work to develop their brand and marketing communication.Method                              With a qualitative approach, the authors of this paper have analyzed text and documents as well as performed two in-depth interviews.Findings                             Both clubs lack a well-developed strategy regarding their work with their brand and marketing communication. However, there are in both cases factors that, if developed correctly, could help build a stronger brand and better the marketing communication.

"Man vet inte vad man inte vet". En studie av informationsflödet inom Gatukontoret i Borås Stad

The aim of this thesis is to examine the flow of information in an administration of the municipality Borås Stad. To achieve the aim the following questions were asked: How accessible is information? How is information used in the organisation? How is information communicated? Totally sixteen qualitative interviews was accomplished with employees at the administration. The results of the interviews show that there is a difference in how much and what sort of information the respondents use. They all seem to prefer information to be communicated face to face if possible or over the phone.

The aim of the study is to investigate attitudes about rapists and to determine whether it is felt that they need treatment, imprisonment or a combination of the two. The study examines differences in attitudes between two different educational groups. The first group of students is comprised of those studying on programs that lead to careers working with people, whilst the other contains students who will work in business administration. The investigation also includes views on which punishment alternative the informants believed to be the most appropriate. The same differences are also investigated between gender and age.

When Madison Avenue turns into Main Street: Consumer generated advertising as a marketing tool and its effects on online word of mouth

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of consumer generated advertising as a marketing tool to encourage online word of mouth. Subsequently, the researchers aim to examine if there are certain design factors in consumer generated advertising that influence the effectiveness of consumer generated advertising in encouraging online word of mouth. The study conducts a multiple case study of several consumer generated advertising campaigns. It consists of in-depth studies of these cases in combination with quantitative analyses of the encouraged word of mouth. The different cases are examined on several design factors that could possible increase the volume of encouraged word of mouth..

Gruesome Gaming: En studie i marknadsföring på sociala medier

Vi har valt att titta på hur E-sportmarknaden använder sig av sociala medier för att sprida sig ut bland medierna och nå befintliga och framtida användare. E-sport är ett begrepp som innefattar all typ av elektronisk sport. Dota2 och Starcraft 2 är två exempel på spel där E-sport är ett vinnande koncept. Vi har valt att skapa föreningen, Gruesome Gaming som ligger till grund för uppgiften för att kunna ta reda på hur de sociala medierna fungerar i marknadsföringssyfte. Människors beteende på Internet samt hur människor hanterar marknadsföring på Internet kommer upplysas närmare i arbetets resultatkapitel.

The interest in companies that are based outside the cities has grown, and many of these companies have focused their activities around service. The countryside companies meet some difficulties in marketing and communication with other entrepreneurs. A network with service based companies in the countryside could help the individual companies to promote themselves and also give inspiration and new ideas to develop their business. The aim of this study is to investigate how a countryside network can be organized but also what conditions is needed to make the network function. Syfte: Att identifiera hur relationerna mellan företag/kund ser ut samt att se om det finns en skillnad i kundprofil mellan två företag som tillämpar två helt olika försäljningskanaler inom lastpallsindustrin. Metod: Vi har gjort en kvalitativ undersökning där vi granskat två företags kundrelationer och kundprofiler. Vi intervjuade två företagsledare med olika sorters försäljningskanaler men inom samma bransch. När vi skrev ner våra intervjufrågor var vi tvungna att tänka på två saker.

Marknadsföring och kundupplevd kvalitet - En fallstudie på Kalmar och Trollhättans Stadsbibliotek

In this thesis the marketing strategies of two public libraries have been explored and studied.The public library of Kalmar participates in the project GÖK which partly is a marketing project. The public library of Kalmar thereby differs from the public library of Trollhättan which is not involved in the project.The main aim of this thesis was to focus on their marketing strategies and see if there were any differences. The thesis was also concerned with the customers and their experiences of the quality of the services offered by the public libraries of Kalmar and Trollhättan, including the customers' perceptions of the operative marketing, and finally if there was a connection between marketing and customer-centered quality. Qualitative methods as well as quantitative methods were used for the collection of information .The preliminary assumption that Kalmar had a more explicit marketing strategy has been confirmed in the study. However, the customers at the public library of Trollhättan were more satisfied with the total quality of the services offered.

Intern marknadsföring - i ett tjänsteproducerande IT-företag

The purpose of this thesis was to describe how service producing IT- companies handles their internal marketing. We wanted to understand how management deal with internal marketing activities and how different companies create a working environment to encourage employees to motivation and well-being. To be able to find out we did a case study on a service producing IT-company. Two personal interviews were done with two of the managers. Our empirical research showed that the company used internal marketing on a daily basis.

Ett företags kommunikationsstrategi ? hur påverkas ledningens externa och interna kommunikationsstrategier vid en börsintroduktion?

Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att studera hur en börsintroduktion påverkar ledningens kommunikationsstrategi i ett företag. Metod: Hela studien utfördes på företaget Waterjet i Ronneby med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer med anställda på ledande positioner i organisationen. Slutsatser: Både internt och externt ser vi skillnader jämfört med hur det var före introduktionen. Den största förändringen är i den externa kommunikationen, där företaget nu måste hantera fler ägare, analytiker och investerare. Internt har ledningen utformat nya riktlinjer och policys för hur kommunikationen ska hanteras på bästa vis. Som en del av den interna kommunikationsstrategin har formella möten fått mer betydelse än tidigare, då anställda får diskutera vad börsintroduktionen innebär för deras arbete.

Syfte: Syftet med denna undersökningen är att öka förståelsen av hur företagen ser på sponsring i dagens ekonomiska situation. Detta är av särskilt intresse för de personer och organisationer som söker sponsorer. Undersökningen kommer speciellt att fokuseras på idrottssponsring. Syftet med undersökningen är även att se hur trenderna i Sverige stämmer överens med trenderna i övriga delar av världen och då främst i USA vad gäller sponsring. Metod: En survey-undersökning med de 126 största företagen i Sverige har gjorts. Företagen har fått fylla i en enkät med sju flervalsfrågor via e-mail, telefax eller telefon.

This two years master?s thesis takes interest in the concept of marketing related to the Children?s Library. The purposes have been to investigate the perception of marketing among a few librarians working at the Children?s Library in the Swedish region of Halland and further to analyse their perception of marketing in the daily work at the library. Eventually to analyse the consequences of these librarians approach to marketing related to their perception of the library?s mission.
