Framgång både på och utanför fotbollsplan : En benchmarking studie om AC Milans intäktsmöjligheter
As the football industry develops into a highly competitive commercialized industry, football clubs must step up and improve their business strategy. This study focuses on the famous Italian club AC Milan, a club with many international titles but with declining revenues. The purpose of this thesis is to study how AC Milan can generate higher revenues by comparing its marketing and business strategy with the most profitable clubs in the world, the benchmarking partners Real Madrid and Manchester United. By using a benchmarking model, following the five steps of this process, conducting observation studies, an interview and examining secondhand information, gaps between the clubs were evaluated and analyzed. These evaluations became together with chosen theoretical references, the basis for the improvement suggestions and conclusions shown by the authors.
Outsourcing av kundservice : - kundrelationer i förändring?
Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur outsourcing av kundserviceaktiviteter förändrar kundrelationen och företagets möjligheter att implementera framtida kundstrategier. Som utgångspunkt har outsourcingteori ställts mot relationsmarknadsföringsteori. Företag vill till största mån vara så nära sina kunder som möjligt, men genom att outsourca kundservice tillförs ett ytterligare led mellan företaget och kunden. Outsourcing av kundservice-aktiviteter kan ifrågasättas ur ett relationsmarknadsföringsperspektiv. För att ta reda på förändringen av företagets kundrelationer vid outsourcad kundservice har vi genomfört en kvalitativ undersökning av företag som outsourcar sin kundservice och de företag som tillhandahåller outsourcingtjänster.
The Co-Creative Network
The purpose of this thesis is to explore the co-creation process and how value is created based on a service orientation using a network perspective. The thesis is studied from a social-constructionist philosophy, using a qualitative approach of data collection and the theoretical framework includes network theories, theories of service-orientation and co-creation. We have conducted semi-structured interviews with a small firm and its network, which consists of a customer, a supplier and a partner. We found that Håkansson?s ARA framework combined with Ballantyne and Varey?s triangulation of value-creating activities help to acquire an understanding of the actors? bonds, the resources? ties and the activity links that exist in a network.
Affärsinkubatorn i Innovationsprocessen : En studie i de roller som uppstår då en affärsinkubator participerar i en innovationsprocess
Purpose: This study`s purpose is to investigate the role of a business incubator in the strategic decision situations during the process of a new venture startup. It also aims to explore the methods and instruments the incubator and its advisers applies during the process.Methodology: This study is built on the basis of a hermeneutic approach with qualitative method and abductive design. The empirical material collected consist of interviews from two case studies and secondary data collection from different related sources.Theoretical perspective: The theory in the study consists of the elements of previous research on innovation processes and entrepreneurship. To analyze the data, models and theories related to decision making, incubation, process theories and organizational theories.Empirical foundation: The empirical material consists of interviews and data from two completed case studies. Additionally consist a relatively large part of the empirical data out of a comprehensive information retrieval from various secondary sources such as internet, newsletters and annual reports.Conclusion: The assay was able to detect not just one, but a variety of roles that the incubator occupies at different stages of the innovation process.
"Jaha, det gick ju bra den här gången också" : En kvalitativ undersökning av seniorers förhållande till e-handel
In this paper we have examined why seniors do not use e-business to the same extent as other age groups. Seniors belong to the age group that, according to statistics from Statistics Sweden (SCB) in 2011, utilizes e-business the least in relation to the number who use the internet. To understand how seniors reason and perceive the possibility to shop on the internet, we have conducted four interviews with people from 65 years and older. We have let the respondents answer questions regarding utility aspects, e-business interfaces, general shopping habits, risks, and whether or not they usually shop online. We also found out how seniors reason when they sell products and services.
Vindkraftverkens nedmonteringsprocess i Sverige
The first commercially produced wind turbines in Sweden are starting to reach theend of their lifetime after approximately 25 years of producing energy. The cost fordismantling the turbines, according to Ardefors et al. (2009), is calculated to be 1-2 %of the total investment of the wind turbines. The purpose of this master thesis is tomap the dismantling process of wind turbines in Sweden and try to find a sustainablesolution for the future.To make sure that a correct dismantling process takes place, and that the financialaspect is covered, a proposal for a financial guarantee is worked upon. A nationalunanimity will be created through a financial guarantee and the risk will be minimalof a third party getting afflicted.Studies of literature and interviews have been carried out.
Effektivisering av kravspecifikationsprocessen
The goal of this project was to make the requirement process at the Swedish
Coastguard more effective. The first step to achieve this was done by locating
bottle necks in the process with value stream mapping method. The result of
this study showed that the biggest restriction in the requirement process was
while examining older requirement documents to understand what elements were
suitable for the particular project.
This was followed by a study of literature, interviews and theory of Lean
Production with the ambition to investigate how the requirement process was
handled on other companies and how to improve the process on the Swedish coast
guard. This led to a number of potential enhancements of the process which
later was evaluated.
Requirements written by different people in different organizations were
analyzed in order to sort out if there were some similarities? which could be
used as standard elements in a future standardization of the process.
Upplevd problematik vid styrning av outsourcade funktioner
I dagens hårda konkurrens blir det allt viktigare för organisationer att koncentrera sig på sina kärnkompetenser och minska sina kostnader. Detta kan göras genom outsourcing som har blivit en allt mer utbredd företeelse bland organisationer. Intressant är att relativt lite uppmärksamhet har ägnats åt relationerna mellan organisationer och leverantörer och hur organisationer kan styra och kontrollera dessa relationer. Den existerande litteraturen idag behandlar främst relationerna inom en organisation och inte mellan organisationer. Vi har därför valt att studera den eventuella problematik en organisation upplever när de styr sina outsourcade funktioner.
Business Process Reengineering: hur får ledningen personalen motiverad?
En av de mest anammade metoderna för radikal organisationsförändring det senaste decenniet är Business Process Reengineering (BPR). BPR har fått kritik för att den inte tar tillräcklig hänsyn till de mänskliga aspekterna som finns vid en organisationsförändring. Dessa mänskliga aspekter är t.ex. åsikter, tankar och känslor som en individ har. De mänskliga aspekterna finns således hos varje enskild individ inom organisationen och det är därför viktigt att ta hänsyn till dessa aspekter för att ex.

Background: Businesses are traditionally valued with the so called Discounted Cash Flow-model. When valuing newly-started businesses, surrounded by high uncertainty, and whose capital mostly consists of unrealized business opportunities, the Discounted Cash Flow-model needs to be complemented if the total value of the business is to be captured. A valuation with the help of real options is capable of valuing these unrealized opportunities, which often exist in newly-started businesses. The unrealized opportunities are to be found in the business plan of the business, why this needs to be valued to capture the total value of a newly-started business. Purpose: To demonstrate what the use of real options can result in when valuing businesses.

The inequality and separation of sexes seen in organizations may lead to inefficient use of human resources. Therefor, a more equal organization could lead to higher productivity and efficiency. Inequality within organizations is a problem also for the society as a whole since who is chosen for a position is not depended upon merits, leading to inefficiency. To not reflect upon traditional division of labor and decision-making could also lead to an undemocratic and unjust society. The aim of this thesis is to explore women and men?s engagement a family business in an agricultural setting.

Strategisk styrning av nätverksrelationer: fallstudie av outsourcing vid L M Ericsson
Vi har med detta magisterexamensarbete avsett att belysa outsourcingens roll i och med en allt mer nätverksliknande organisationsform och hur L M Ericsson styr de stora organisationsmönster som blir kontentan av dessa utläggningar. Genom teorier angående outsourcingens karaktäristika, imaginära organisationer och med Simons ekonomistyrningsteorier som utgångspunkt har vi försökt skapa oss en bild av vår frågeställning. Denna har vi sedan testat empiriskt genom att göra en fallstudie i L M Ericsson som har genomfört dessa förändringar i så pass stor omfattning och under sådan tid att det gjort det möjligt att få ut resultat som är gångbara i andra fall och företag som funderat på eller genomfört liknande omstruktureringar. Den analys som följt av teori och empiri har bland annat gett oss slutsatsen att styrningen av leverantörer och outsourcingpartners många gånger är de samma oavsett om de ses som ?köp-sälj? relationer eller djupare allianser.

Background: Etiquette has become vital in business relationships. In today?s competitive business climate signs indicate that social competence affect whether a business deal is settled or not. This type of competence could be of crucial importance at a first business meeting and it also plays an important role for future business relationships. Business etiquette is therefore, within the world of business, an interesting area to study.Purpose: The purpose of this essay is to clarify what knowledge and understanding companies, listed on the Swedish stock exchange, possess towards business etiquette, their viewpoint on etiquette education and finally to ascertain whether or not those companies perceive business etiquette to be pivotal to success.Methodology: In order to attain our purpose of this essay we found it most suitable to utilize both a quantitative and qualitative research method.
