The aim of this masters thesis is to examine what political, social and ideological reasons that were the base for the establishment of the Swedish temperance movement. Which judgements within this movement that resulted in the decision to establish publishing firms, how these publishing businesses were organised and what function they had in the literary circuit. The questions are: What principal political, social, economical and ideological reasons were the bases for the establishment of the Swedish temperance movement? How has their need for publishing firms arisen? Which were the publishing firms and who were the publishers? What ideas, purposes, experiences, values and judgements led to the establishment of publishing firms? In the first part of the theory I have used the historical materialism of Karl Marx; in the second part the theory of middle class publicity by Jürgen Habermas; and in the third part I have made a presentation of the literary circuit and how it works according to Marx and Habermas. The method used is an analysis of ideas and ideologies in literature and documents.
Servicelandskap i Dagligvaruhandeln. : Image, lojalitet och relationer.
AbstractThe purpose of this study is to clarify and analyze the servicescapes impact on brand image and customer loyalty among general dealers. The research question that we have used in the study is what characterizes the connection between the servicescape and the possibility to maintain and strengthen the customer relation among general dealers. The study is based on a qualitative approach and we have conducted eight interviews with experts and special advisers within the field. We have chosen to focus our study on the fact the market for general dealers have changed and the demands from the customers are severed throughout the years. The servicescape consists of the physical surroundings where the service is produced, examples of factors that influence the servicescape is the employees and the customers.

This is a paper about the effects from smoldering fire on lithic objects from an archaeological view.
The introduction gives the background to this paper, a short orientation to forest wildfires and why the work is limited to: flint, quartz, quartzite and slate. Material and methods describes the stone materials and the setup that was used in the temperature logged tests with three replications for each type of material. The fuel in the burnings was peat on a bottom of sand. Flint showed a more drastic effect from heat compared with the other materials. Slate seems to have greater tendencies to change to darker colour and luster at lower temperatures than the other materials.
Making Money in a Dirty Business
Academic research concerning how to determine the power situation in a supply chain where an investment product supplier is involved did not exist. Therefore new models has been developed that analyses the power relations and maps out the power situation in a supply chain. In the future these models can be applied on similar cases by modifying the included parameters.
The new models show that case company FAS should focus on the big producers of garbage bag which are Trioplast, Rullpack and Miljösäck. By strengthen the brand FAS can make more money in these relations.

Brandvattenförsörjning av rangerbangårdar: Behovet av brandvatten vid olyckor med farligt gods
Syftet med denna rapport var att ta fram underlag som ska kunna ligga till grund för en eventuell framtida standardisering av brandvattentillgången på rangerbangårdar klassade som farlig verksamhet. Detta har gjorts genom litteraturstudie på ämnen rörande rangerbangårdar, farligt godsolyckor, brandvattenförsörjning samt lagstiftning som styr anläggningar klassade som farlig verksamhet. Utöver en omfattande litteraturstudie har intervjuer med två räddningstjänster genomförts för att få deras syn på brandvattenförsörjning av rangerbangårdar. I Sverige finns 13 rangerbangårdar som alla ägs av Trafikverket som enligt Lagen om skydd mot olyckor (LSO) är skyldig att i skälig omfattning hålla och bekosta utrustning för släckning av brand. Konsulter har på uppdrag av Trafikverket utfört riskanalyser på några av de rangerbangårdar som är klassade som farlig verksamhet och kommit fram till att brandvattensystemen på flera av rangerbangårdarna måste utredas vidare då de anses vara underdimensionerade och otillräckliga.
Vardagsmat eller domedag? Marknadsföring av ekologiska varor genom svaga och starka rädslor
In a time when concern for the environment is a topic that is met with both love and hatred, organic goods and services become increasingly common on the market. Communication efforts with the purpose of increasing the proportion of organic products consumed are being conducted by both private and public actors. However, achieving attitudinal and behavioral change within complex areas such as this comes with many difficulties.Within public opinion change, a common way of achieving a change in behavior is to use fear appeals and scare tactics. Earlier studies have shown that messages prompting a low level of fear can be more effective than messages prompting a high level of fear, since a high level of fear tends to raise defense mechanisms in the consumer. The purpose of this essay is to examine whether fear and defense mechanisms is a problem when it comes to making consumers choose organic products, as well as studying whether messages prompting low levels of fear are more effective than those prompting high levels of fear.This quantitative study is conducted in the form of a questionnaire-based experiment, comparing the effectiveness of two messages prompting different levels of fear.

In this paper we have studied how young adults read news on the internet. The purpose was to seehow the consumers of news were irritated by the adverts on news sites depending on whichplatform they used, a computer or an portable reading device of the brand Apple iPad. Observationsand surveys were conducted on ten people. The news sites we used for this study were www.SvD.seand www.expressen.se. The result show that a majority experienced that their news consumptionwere irritated by advertising, mostly on Expressen's news site because it wasn't perceived asforeseeable..

Introduction: The health for individuals with intellectual disabilities is asubject that is prioritized by the Swedish Institute for Public Health. Socialsupport has been proven to be important for health and quality of life. Despitethis fact there is no research available regarding the influence social support hason health and quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities in Sweden.Aim: To describe social support and the consequence of social support forhealth and quality of life for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Method:A litterature review of research in a defined area with a descriptive design.Systematic searches for articles were done in several databases and ultimately16 articles were chosen. Themes and categories were created with respect to theaim of this study during the analysis of the articles.

Denna studie undersöker om Sverige som produktland ger ett mervärde åt produkter relaterade till Sverige på den australiensiska markanden. Studien är grundad på en enkätstudie som utfördes på 67 personer i Toowoomba, Australien. Kopplingen till ett lands mervärde ligger i kundens uppfattning till de land de förknippar produkten med, något som kan förstärkas eller minskas. Studien visar att över 90 % av de tillfrågade kände till Ericsson, IKEA och Volvo medan drygt hälften kände till Absolut. De hade alla en starkare produktnisch än Sverige som nation.

Nornan blomstrar igen : nybyggnation i kulturhistoriskt känslig miljö
På fastigheten Nornan 13 i Tingsryd, Kronobergs län, finns idag en mangårdsbyggnad från mitten av 1800-talet. Då ett flertal ekonomibyggnader på fastigheten tidigare förstörts i en brand, funderar fastighetsägaren på att komplettera tomten med nya byggnader i form av flerbostadshus. Denna rapport utreder möjligheterna och förutsättningarna för nybyggnation på Nornan 13, samt ger utifrån dessa villkor förslag på hur sådan byggnation bör och kan utformas. Förslaget presenteras med hjälp av ritningar, illustrationer och beskrivningar.Eftersom samtliga byggnader på Nornan 13 och närliggande fastigheter är av äldre karaktär bedöms området som känsligt för ny modern bebyggelse. Av den anledningen genomförs en områdesanalys för att kunna identifiera områdets kulturhistoriska värden, samt undersöka hur nybyggnation kan tillvarata dessa.

What are the underlying criteria?s to for this work and what role has the consultant company BMN in the actual process?Aim: The authors have for intention to create an understanding on why there is interesting for a trade union organisation like HTF to carry out a trademark development investment. A further understanding will be to highlighting a strong trademark's advantages and possible disadvantages.Results: As a trade union organisation where the relationship to the members and the potential members is becoming all more important is the interesting to highlight their trademark clear and in addition to that contribute to building and establishing strong relationships. on the basis of this study we can state that it is now one of the most important support activities that as a trade unions to highlight its core values through trademark. As a trade union, one can to a large extent work with and to apply the market the economic mocks-up for trademark build up.The most important aspect is that we can state , in the future developed to concentrate more on communication, positioning, segmentation and diversification, which the trademark act as intermediary.
