Flertalet modeföretag använder sig idag av SMS-reklam, en reklamform som enligt studier uppfattas som positiv så länge som den är tillåtelsebaserad. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka om och i så fall vilka skillnader som finns vad det gäller attityden till SMS-reklam och det efterföljande köpbeteendet mellan de som anser sig ha accepterat avtalen kring SMS-reklam och de som ej anser sig ha gett sin tillåtelse. För att uppfylla syftet fick 219 studerande vid Stockholms universitet besvara ett frågeformulär gällande deras attityd till SMS-reklam och deras efterföljande köpbeteende. Resultaten visade, i likhet med tidigare forskning, att de studenter som var medvetna om att ha gett sin tillåtelse till att motta SMS-reklam både hade en mer positiv attityd till SMS-reklam och ett mer positivt köpbeteende till följd av SMS:et. De studenter som inte var medvetna om att de gett sin tillåtelse hade en mer negativ attityd till SMS-reklam och hade ett mer negativt köpbeteende till följd av SMS:et.

Arbetet handlar om hur sex barn i svårigheter med matematik uppfattar sig själva som matematiker, hur de finner att andra uppfattar dem som matematiker och vad det beror på samt hur den matematiska självuppfattningen är hos dessa elever. I studien har jag arbetat kvalitativt med en fenomenografisk ansats, där datainsamlingen skett genom intervjuer, i en år fem klass på en skola i sydöstra delen av Sverige. Resultatet visar b. la. elevernas matematiska attityd, känslor och tillfredställelse.

In this essay, I want to achieve an accessible and applicable entrance to Alexander Technique as a method for learning to use the body in such a way as to allow emotional expression in music. It is necessary to see the real need of Alexander Technique for the active musician, and therefore important components of music-making will be presented. These components are presented from an Alexander-perspective in order to produce a clear picture of the method of application.The prerequisite for emotional expression in music is musicians and music listeners with the ability to generate, and respond after emotional impressions. Alexander Technique provides an approach to make it easier for musicians, especially guitarists, to express emotions in a performance situation.After years of practice and obtaining musical knowledge and practical skills at the instrument, it is common that muscle tension and ingrained patterns contribute to limited expression. Muscle tensions arising from pressured situations such as auditions, competitions and concerts.

We have made a litterature study about pain in animals. In this studie we have brought up areas like sign of pains in animals, pain relief and the care perspective. Pain is perceived when body tissue is damaged or nearly damaged by stimuli. Nociceptors, which are receptors placed at nerve endings, responds to a provocation of pain and transmit an impulse along the nerve to the brain via the spinal cord. Pain is urgent or chronic, and can be divided into nociceptive pain (somatic pain and visceral pain) and neuropathic pain. Different pain mechanisms can arise, such as referred pain, which is when signals of pain are referred to other parts of the body.

När det talas om test pratas det på ett sätt som om det vore ett nytt fenomen, men i själva verket kan rötterna spåras tillbaks till 1978. Det är först på senare år som test har börjat etablera sig mer och mer och nyttan med test bland systemutvecklingsorganisationer respektive testorganisationer. Människan omges ständigt av information vare sig det är av elektronisk, fysiskt eller annan form. Det är därför inte så konstigt att tidsåldern människan befinner sig i kallas för ?informationsåldern?.

In this paper we explore the relations between context and feedback generated in three user-centered evaluations of a flash-based game. Whether it?s the social context, the physical context or the degree of intrusion from the evaluator, they all contribute to the quality of the feedback received. The selection of test subjects is a narrow process, which gives the above mentioned factors different meaning. Contextual factors have shown to influence the feedback given within both usability and user-experience.

Om vi har ett stickprov med X1, X2, ..., Xn oberoende lika fördelade observationer från en kontinuerlig fördelning med fördelningsfunktion F?, där ? är en okänd parameter, är Likelihoodkvottestet (LT) ofta en bra metod för att testa nollhypotesen H0: ? = ?0 mot HA: ?? ?0. För vissa typer av fördelningar saknar dock Likelihoodfunktionen övre begränsning (Ranneby, 1984) och (Ekström, 2013) vilket innebär att testet inte går att tillämpa då. Detta test jämförs med två nyare test, Ekströmtestet (ET) (Ekström, 2013) och Fidelitytestet (FT) som är ett modierat ET, som vi vet fungerar även i dylika fall. Under vissa generella villkor så vet vi att de tre testen är asymptotiskt ekvivalenta.

In this paper I'm trying to trace, analyze and emphasize Kathy Acker?s Great Expectations and Alison Knowles?s The Big Book in regard to the books in/finite im/possibilities. I analyze them through historical changes in the books format and structure, especially ones proposed by Mallarmé, Duchamp and Fluxus. To analyze the texts more closely attention is directed to how Acker and Knowles challenge the conventional narrative, in regard to the body and language/voice and sound. I give specific emphasizes to thoughts posted by écriture féminine, while also adding Mara Lee?s temporalities in regard to body resistance and time.

The main topic of this thesis is to evaluate the impact on the usability of web pages when using responsive web design, a concept for developing web pages whose design adapts to the screen size being used. This is done by creating a responsive prototype based on an existing web site. A number of usability tests are conducted on the two versions of the site in order to compare the time to complete the tests and to observe the behaviour of the test participants. The tests are conducted on desktop as well as on mobile devices with varying screen size.The number of test participants was relatively low, and so the quantitative result is not statistically valid. However, the conclusion is that the most effective combination is to use either of the sites on desktop format.

Smärta är ett utbrett omvårdnadsproblem och en av de vanligaste orsakerna till att människor söker sig till sjukvården. Många patienter lider av underbehandlad smärta som ofta kan relateras till en bristande smärtbedömning. Sjuksköterskan har en betydelsefull roll i smärtbedömningen där attityden kan vara en avgörande faktor för om patienten erhåller en adekvat smärtbedömning. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa sjuksköterskors attityder till smärtbedömning i sjukhusmiljö. En systematisk innehållsanalys av fjorton vetenskapliga artiklar genomfördes.

Inclusion body disease (IBD) affecting boas and pythons is a serious and common disease. Boas can be clinically healthy carriers, which makes control of the disease difficult. The causative agent has not yet been confidently identified, and therefore there are no serodiagnostic tests available. Today, histopathologic examination of tissue biopsies is the recommended antemortem diagnostic method, but there are several disadvantages. The objective of this study was to compare the sensitivity of two diagnostic methods ? liver biopsies and blood smears, and to evaluate ultrasoundguided needle biopsy of the liver.

Kitron had wishes to be able to test and measure how disturbance affects their vehicle electronic units before they have been verified by SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden in Borås. This work started with the writing of a demand specification together with Kitron for a product PSQS, Power Supply Quality Simulator, which can generate some test pulses according to a standard for electronic units to Volvos vehicles. A design proposal was developed with the help the demand specification and was verified with the help of simulations. All electric schematics was designed with the guide of the design proposal. The pulses realized in the works of this thesis are those which Kitron experienced that they have a need to test in their own premises and which are possible to generate with the means available.

AstraZeneca in Mölndal (AZRDM) uses beagles bred at Rååhöjdens kennel in Örkelljunga for their research purposes. The staff wishes to have mentally stable dogs to work with, sine stress can effect the research results. The purpose of this study was to put together the testresults from dogs delivered 2003 and 2004, to see if there is a connection between delivery age and testresult. We have also worked out a method to test if early planned handling of the dogs makes a difference on how the dogs later respond in a testsituation, and tried this method in a pilotstudy. The data that we have based our calculations on is 172 dogs, divided into 108 males and 64 females. We found a significant connection between the age at delivery and the testresult in contactability for female dogs delivered in 2003, where increasing age led to decreasing grades in the test at AZRDM. When looking at the difference in testresults between test number two at the kennel and the test at AZRDM we found a significant connection for female dogs delivered during 2003, ie the difference takes on a more negative value with increasing age at delivery. We found a difference between the two sexes in our calculations.

Syftet med examensarbetet är att undersöka hur lärare i de tidigare skolåren, i årskurs 3,undervisar i geografi. Den nationella utvärderingen från 2003 visade, enligt Lundahl m.fl. (2003), att det finns vissa brister i grundskolans geografiundervisning. Sju stycken årskurs 3-lärare från två olika kommuner intervjuades och i arbetet delges deras - undervisningsmetoder i NO/SO mer specifikt geografin, - användning av läromedel i NO/SO, specifikt geografiundervisningen och - attityd gentemot geografi som undervisningsämne. Resultatet visar att undervisningen i de tidigare åldrarna är mer traditionsbunden än inriktad mot reflekterande arbete av kursmålen i geografiundervisningen. Därav lades arbetets fokus på hur man bättre och mer effektivt kan jobba i de tidigare åldrarna för att få bästa möjliga kunskapsutveckling..

The purpose of this study was to investigate the possibility of streamlining the test process by utilizing pair programming. During the process, pair programming has been practiced as is defined by the Extreme programming (XP) software development methodology, with the other aspects of XP discarded. The focus of the testing itself has been toward unit testing. The methods applied has been with an experimental approach where 93 cases were attempted to be solved by either single programmers or pair programmers. What has been investigated in these experiments was the time needed to complete a case, how many test attempts were needed to solve the case, and how high a percentage of the cases were solved.
