Studier har visat att sju av tio nya arbetstillfällen skapas av små företag. I takt med att studier visar att små företag är viktiga för Sveriges ekonomiska tillväxt ökar intresset kring små företags problem att erhålla externt kapital. En betydande del av de små företagen behöver extern finansiering, men har svårt att få finansiering på ett traditionellt sätt. Det föreligger därmed ett finansiellt gap som kan förklaras med att det existerar informationsasymmetri mellan finansiärer och företagare, där en förklaring kan vara att företagarna har en negativ attityd till externt kapital. Denna negativa attityd har många gånger förklarats med att företagares val av finansieringskällor sker i en hierarkisk preferensordning.

BAKGRUND: I andra delar av världen testas den fysiska kapaciteten hos yrkesverksamma poliser regelbundet. I Sverige finns inga tester eller krav på fysisk kapacitet på yrkesverksamma poliser efter genomförd grundutbildning. SYFTE: Att undersöka den fysiska kapaciteten hos poliser i yttre tjänst i Norrbottens polisdistrikt, för att påvisa om det finns ett behov av åtgärder för att upprätthålla yrkesaktiva polisers fysiska kapacitet. METOD: Förfrågan om frivilligt deltagande från poliser i yttre tjänst gjordes till delar ur Norrbottens polisdistrikt. Coopers test 2000 m och Harres test, vilka Polishögskolan använder i rekryteringsprocessen, valdes som mätmetoder.

Swedish students' knowledge of both mathematics and reading comprehension has deteriorated in recent years. Scientists are discussing whether there is a connection between these areas and that the pupils deteriorating math skills may have something to do with their increasingly lower results in terms of reading comprehension. To investigate this possible connection, I conducted a survey among students in ninth grade and have come to the conclusion that the scientists are right: this connection absolutely exist. Students who received a high score on tasks designed to test students' mathematical problem-solving skills, also received high results on the reading comprehension test. And students who received a poor performance on the problem-solving tasks, were also low performers in the reading comprehension test.

Bakgrund: Stroke är den tredje största dödsorsaken i Sverige och den vanligaste anledningen till funktionsnedsättning. Intresset för kroppsmedvetna behandlingsmetoder inom strokerehabilitering har ökat. Basal Kroppskännedom (BK) är en behandlingsmetod där fokus ligger på kroppsmedvetenhet, rörelsebeteende och grundläggande rörelseförmåga för att därigenom återställa kroppslig och själslig balans. Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att studera beskrivna behandlingsmetoder med inriktning på kroppsmedvetenhet inom strokerehabilitering. Ett annat syfte var att i en kvalitativ studie undersöka om gruppbehandling i BK ger effekter som är möjliga att se ur ett anhörigperspektiv.Metod: För litteraturstudien gjordes sökningar i PubMed, AMED och CINAHL med sökorden stroke, physiotherapy, intervention, body awareness, tai chi, yoga, gigong, alexanderteknik, feldenkrais.

This study aimed to describe children?s experience of living with overweight or obesity, by using a literature-review. The study includes eleven articles, data is from children between ages 5-15 year. The result occurring were in the areas; Quality of life and self-esteem, Social company, Body concept and weight reduction and Psychological unhealth. BMI above what is recommended gives a negative influence on quality of live and self-esteem.

In order to evaluate the benefits and costs associated to investments in information technology (IT) managers need to be aware of the complexity in the nature of the task. Hence all the benefits that arise from the investment are not of pure economic character. The complexity of the task is even more obvious when managers also need to prioritize between a number of possible investments in order to fit a given budget.Stora Enso Skog AB is about to implement a new administration system to the organisation and due to that they will also implement a new standard system for the production planning process. In order to seek the modifications in the standard system that needs to be done to fit the organisations way of working, the managers have put together a reference group to seek out these modifications.The aim with this report is to identify a model that can prioritize these suggested modifications and test it practically with a group of future system users. The first part of the report is a literature study to map the existing models that are available.

According to ?Fotförbundet" (2012), Overpronation occurs frequently (80 %) in the Western World and furthermore overpronation of calcaneus influences the position of the pelvic and thorax (Fotförbundet, 2012; Behnke, 2008). The aim of this study is to investigate whether or not it is possible to connect overpronation of calcaneus to the problem in the rider?s seat as observed by the instructors of Strömsholm. The study will also investigate if the riders seat problems as noticed by the riding instructors are comparable with the problems found by the analyst during testing. One purpose with the study is to raise the instructors and riders awareness that anatomical deviations in the rider might influence the rider?s position in the saddle. The questions of the study are: - Is it possible to see seat problems in riders with overpronation of calcaneus? - If it is possible to see more seat problems in riders with overpronation of calcaneus, do the instructors in the study considers the seat problems be similar with each other? - If there are seat problems in the study, is it the same according to the instructors and the analyst in human biomechanics? The hypothesis of the study is that overpronation of calcaneus has an effect of the rider?s position in the saddle. The study is conducted as a blind study where the test subjects have been filmed (from knees down) as they walked barefooted and later while riding.

Bakgrund: Drogmissbrukare blir en allt vanligare patientkategori och de blir ofta illa bemötta av vårdpersonal. Ett bemötande från vårdpersonalen innehållande mänsklig värme och omtanke kan bidra till att förbättra patientens hälsa och välbefinnande och kan vara en avgörande faktor för behandlingsresultatet av dessa patienter.Syfte: Syftet var att belysa attityder och bemötande hos vårdpersonalens gentemot patienter med drogmissbruk i vården.Metod: Studien utformades som en litteraturstudie med kvalitativ ansats. Åtta vetenskapliga artiklar, både kvalitativa och kvantitativa, utgjorde grunden för resultatet.Resultat: Vårdpersonalens attityd och bemötande upplevs som negativ av både vårdare och patienter. Sjuksköterskor hade en pessimistisk och stereotypisk syn på patienter med drogmissbruk. Patienter med drogmissbruk bemöts ofta med en dömande och fientlig attityd.Slutsatser: Mer utbildning och kunskap behövs inom vården av patienter med drogmissbruk.

Syftet med denna studie är att se om metoden upprepad läsning kan ha någon effekt på elevers läsbeteende, attityd och motivation till läsning. Studien består av en teoretisk del och en empirisk del där elever deltagit i en fyra veckor lång intervention och där elever, föräldrar och lärare intervjuats genom semistrukturerade intervjuer. Elevers attityd, motivation och läsbeteende kan påverkas i positiv riktning vid användandet av lästräningsmetoden upprepad läsning. Detta sammanfattar kort resultatet av denna studie. I litteraturen framhålls flera beståndsdelar som kan påverka en elevs attityd och motivation till läsning. Inre och yttre motivation är två beståndsdelar som styr till exempel varför och av vilken anledning som en elev läser.

Kosten har stor betydelse för den idrottande individens prestation och hälsa. Trots det är det få idrottsutövare som följer kostrekommendationerna för sin idrottsgren. Styrketränande individer får ofta i sig mer protein än de behöver och under de senaste åren har användningen av proteintillskott ökat. Ett för högt intag av protein kan vara skadligt för hälsan och kostsamt för såväl plånbok som miljö. Tidigare forskning har visat ett samband mellan attityder och beteenden, vilket innebär att det är av intresse att undersöka individers attityder om man vill förändra deras beteende.

The aim of this study was to find possible relations between behaviour and physiology for puppies during different parts of a puppy test. This work deals mainly with the physiological part of the study. Thirtysix puppies, från five litters, were tested in a behaviour test where heart rate was measured and saliva samples were collected before and after each part in the test. Saliva and urine samples were analyzed for corisol concentration as an indicatior of stress. The tests were performed during two consecutive days in the breeders' home when the puppies were seven weeks old. In addition, heart rate and cortisol levels were also measured in the bitch since we were interested in finding out if there were any relations between physiological levels in bitches and puppies.

Lot?s of reasons are showing that outdoor life has a positive influence on the general publics health and studies are confirming this theory. On the other hand there are a few amount of Swedish science project?s regarding outdoor life. The aim of this study was to examine how people feel that their health influences by outdoor life.

Verbbenämning innebär förmågan att benämna en bild utifrån den aktivitet som bilden illustrerar. I tidigare studier har det visat sig att barn tidigt i språkutvecklingen har svårare för verbbenämning än substantivbenämning (Gentner, 1982; Kauschke, Lee & Pae, 2007). Detta förklaras delvis av att verb är mer lingvistiskt komplexa än vad som är fallet för substantiv (Gentner & Boroditsky, 2001), samt att de är svårare att illustrera (Masterson, Druks & Gallienne, 2008). För att undersöka benämningsförmåga används oftast bildbenämningstest och för verb saknas ett svenskt test för barn. Föreliggande studie syftade till att undersöka verbbenämningsförmågan hos svenska barn samt att utröna om den svenska översättningen av Action Naming Test (ANT) är tillämplig på svenska barn.

Background: The purpose of this study was to explore the reasons that motivate women to seek cosmetic breast augmentation surgery, to examine their self-concept and how they relate to their breasts.Methods: Ten female postoperative participants who have undergone an aesthetic breast augmentation surgery on private clinics were interviewed using an unstructured interview format. Self-report questionnaire was used as a complement to the interview. The purpose of this was to examine women's self-concept. Six female postoperative participants who have undergone a breast augmentation surgery on public clinic and had medically confirmed defect also completed the measures.Results: The results of the interview analysis showed that some participants experienced positive physical and psychological outcomes of surgery and some did not. Several main themes were identified relating to the initial reasons for performing surgery.
