The main reason for doing this kind ofproject was to find out if it was possible to make a relatively advanced application with user friendly tools. We tested the software MIT App Inventor, and the ability to create a useful application for people who wants to get an overview of their energy intake.During the process we found out that it was possible, but minor setbacks occurred. The main idea of our vision; to make a calculator and a registry with different kinds of food and their amount of calories, was completed quite easily. Later on, design alternatives and more advanced functions were not possible for us to make.This might have been because of the short amount of time the project was given, but also, and more likely, because the software did not contain that kind of advanced functions. Even if there were factors that held creativity back, the basic idea was possible to form..

Denna rapport är resultatet av ett examensarbete som är utfört hos ett företag inom elservicebranschen, som syftar till att utreda möjligheten till effektivisering av inhyrningsprocessen av gräventreprenad och verksamheten runt detta på företaget. Företaget har sedan det grundades i mitten av 1900-talet vuxit och därigenom införlivat andra företag i verksamheten. De införlivade företagens organisationskulturer har i vissa avseenden levt kvar, vilket bland annat lett till olika förfaranden vid inhyrning av gräventreprenad. Då det inom dagens organisationer ständigt pågår ett utvecklingsarbete för att öka effektiviteten och konkurrenskraften, är det önskvärt att samordna förfarandet för att få en effektivisering av inhyrningsprocessen och eventuellt hitta ett nyckeltal för att se effektivisering i inhyrningsprocessen. Arbetet bygger på gjorda litteraturstudier i bland annat ämnena företagsekonomi, organisation och arbetsledning.

Children shoes today is designed with the idea that there feet need a lot of support.Due to this the shoes are stiff all over and children are not recommend to wereshoes when they learn how to walk1. It is also quite difficult to squeeze there feet into these shoes.My project is about minimizing the gap between learning how to walk bare footindoors to take the first steps outside. And while doing that create a collection ofshoes and create a new brand; My First Sneakr.My First Sneakrs is inspired by retro sneakers, hiphop- and street culture. Theshoes are colored with attitude and the models are unisex. The outsoles are soft tomimic the bare foot feeling.The shoe has an opening feature in the back, making it easy to put on.

This present study is a result of a research that I made . My purpose is to find out how the debate about inclusion looked like back in the history. My research was about the view we had absolut inclusion in the history, I also made some interviewes among teachers and students in the schools of today. I wanted to se their views about inclusion today and I wanted to know their opinions about inclusion. Did the students and the teachers have prejudice against other students with functional disabilities as Down syndrom and blindness? What was their thoughts about inclusion of students with differents functional disabilities?One more task I had with this study I made was to raise another debate about inclusion .! Keywords: Inclusion and funtional disabilities.

We where asked to write a webapplication, with similar functionalityas an existing desktop application. The application can todayrecord sounds from a person, mix it together at the optimal place withanother, similar sound and play back the result.The application used mathematical calculation that the developerswhere not familiar with, therefore it was decided to focus on the partsthat involved recording and playing sound, to pave the way for anyfuture implementation.The follwing prototypes where implemneted:1. Read a sound clip from a file.2. Splicing of two sound clips at different points in the clips.3. Generate the sound of a guitar.The result of this evaluation is that web browsers today are notready for this type of application, but that there is potetial as soonas W3C have standardised the use of a microphone as a source to theexisting DSP functions..

BakgrundMultipel skleros är en kronisk autoimmun och inflammatorisk sjukdom i centrala nervsystemet. Multipel skleros kan innebära många utmaningar som kräver att personer som har denna sjukdom hittar vägar för att hantera sitt dagliga liv. Att driva en sjukdomsblogg som copingstrategi kan utgöra ett forum där olika behov av stöd kan komma till uttryck.SyfteSyftet var att beskriva hur personer med multipel skleros använder sjukdomsblogg som copingstrategi i sitt dagliga livMetodMetoden var kvalitativa, asynkrona intervjuer i form av strukturerade frågeformulär med öppna frågor.ResultatResultatet visade att det finns flera sätt att använda sig av bloggen som copingstrategi. Att sätta ord på tankar och känslor kan leda till en större acceptans av sjukdomens påverkan på det dagliga livet. Att dessutom kunna dela dessa erfarenheter med andra och på så vis hjälpa dem att se ljusare på tillvaron utgjorde en känsla av meningsfullhet.

Vi utgår från tre frågeställningar:? ? ?På vilka sätt framställer sig svenska kvinnor på Twitter? Vilka skillnader finns mellan användare beroende på antal följare? Vilken gräns sätter kvinnor för vad de delar med sig till sin publik på Twitter?De teoretiska utgångspunkterna för denna studie är i Erving Goffmans teorier om ?front stage?, ?back stage? och ?impression management? och nyare forskning gjord av bland andra danah boyd samt begreppet representation.

Since a few years back television has been on a verge of an enormous digital change. Web-TV is now growing at an incredible rate and is said to completely change the way we consume TV. The purpose of this essay is to determine and gain an understanding of how representatives of the broadcast industry looks at the phenomenon of web-TV and especially the different kinds of online video services and how they believe this will affect the television. Methods used are qualitative interviews which we compared with previous studies on the subject and acknowledged communication theories. The respondents were people with good insight and understanding of the media and TV industry.

Syfte: Studiens syfte var att undersöka samband mellan hur universitetsstudenter skattar sin fysiska aktivitetsnivå och hur de registrerar aktivitetsnivå med hjälp av dagbok samt att se om de kom upp i ACSM (American College of Sport Medicine) och WHO´s (World Health Organisation) rekommendationer.Metod: Studien hade en icke experimentell, deskriptiv och korrelerande design där 26 försökspersoner, två män och 24 kvinnor, rekryterades via anslag. De fick först svara på en enkät och därefter registrera sin aktivitet via en 7-dagars aktivitetsdagbok.Resultat: Studenterna ansåg inte att de hade en stillasittande livsstil och alla deltagare utom en ansåg sig komma upp till ACSM´s rekommendationer av fysisk aktivitet 30 minuter per dag av måttlig intensitet alla dagar i veckan. Trettiofem procent kom inte upp i WHO´s rekommendationer och av dessa överskattade 67% sin fysiska aktivitetsnivå. Sextiofem procent kom inte upp i ACSM´s rekommendationer och av dessa överskattade 94% sin aktivitetsnivå.Konklusion: Studenterna hade en låg fysisk aktivitetsnivå utifrån ACSM´s rekommendationer och majoriteten av de som inte levde upp till WHO och ACSM rekommendationer överskattade sin fysiska aktivitetsnivå. Det krävs dock mer omfattande studier för att dra några generella slutsatser då denna studie hade en skev könsfördelning och ett lågt antal deltagare.Keywords: Self-estimation, Perception, Activity diary, Physical Activity level, Overestimation. .

Idag äger en stor del av Sveriges befolkning en smartphone. Det finns många fördelar med en smartphone men på senare år har flera negativa aspekter med användningen uppmärksammats. Stress orsakad av att inte kunna hantera tekniken på ett hälsosamt sätt är en av de effekter som bevisats och en annan följd av smartphoneanvändning är risken för att utveckla ett beroende.Syftet med detta arbete är att genom en depriveringstudie, avsaknadsstudie, undersöka om studiens smartphoneanvändare är beroende av mobilens smarta funktioner och om smartphonen bidrar till att de känner sig stressade. Genom att frånta användarna möjligheten att använda mobilens smartfunktioner och låta dem föra dagbok över sina upplevelser har vi försökt se hur smartphonen och avsaknaden av dess funktioner påverkar användarna. Med hjälp av enkäter, intervjuer och loggning av deltagarnas användning har vi fördjupat oss i om de upplever sig beroende och stressade av smartfunktionerna.Resultaten visar att samtliga av deltagarna upplever att de är beroende och till viss mån stressade av smartphonen.

This composition is an qualitative study about unemployment and working life. The point of the study has been to make a larger understanding how unemployment can perceive by the individual and how this person can see and plan for future working life. This has been study with help from 8 intervirws. The paticipants has been umeployed between  6 months and 5 years, and they have workt arleast 5 year before the unemployment.The study has show that it is many different components who contribute to how the individual perceive the time in unemployment and how the planning for the future looks like. The persons who has been intervirws perceive their psycal health as god,, even but unemployment.  The study has even show that all the persons in the study want to come out from the unemployment.

This study aims to find out what happens with the roles that are seemingly left behind. Are there roles that are harder or easier to exercise? Available roles with us through life and affect our future decisions or we switched completely away from them and create new roles based on the situations we find ourselves in at the moment? The aim is also to see how the relationship looks like between closed roles and new roles in life. To try to find this out, I have used the narrative method. The study is based largely on Goffman's theories of roles, behind and above the front- and back stage.

To fence in pastures for sheep today is a major cost, especially because of the time required when using current methods. What takes most time is starting to fence off a new area, but to maintain a fence is also a continuous effort. The main function is to keep the sheep at the field.! !By interviewing and observing sheep farmers on how they work with fence today and what their problems was, I got a better understanding of the problem. Also looking at a number of other things like the context, statistics on sheep farming, laws and competition mapping gave a wider image. But the most important part in my research occurred when I talked to experts about sheep behavior.

En person som drabbats av den inflammatoriska tarmsjukdomen Mb Crohn är under ett svårt skov ofta i behov av sjukvårdskontakt. Skovet kan innebära blodiga diarréer flera gånger per dygn, buksmärta och feber. För att minska patientens lidande är det viktigt att sjukvårdskontakten blir positiv för patienten. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur patienter med Mb Crohn upplevde kontakten med vårdpersonal samt vilka faktorer som påverkade kontakten. Den metod som användes var en kvalitativ innehållsanalys som gjordes av text från sex bloggar skrivna av personer med Mb Crohn. En blogg kan beskrivas som en dagbok, publicerad via internet. Resultatet visade att kontakten med vårdpersonal gav både positiva och negativa upplevelser.

This is a qualitative and hermeneutic study where I describe, analyze and interpret four Swedish teachers' perceptions of the importance of writing as a way of acquiring knowledge. The purpose is to highlight attitudes to writing and their impact on the teaching practice. The theoretical background discusses the autonomic aspects of scripture and pedagogical positions concerning writing instruction. Results show that the teachers teaching positions can be traced back to their approach to writing. However, in this study, it is difficult to tell exactly what these consequences are because the approaches of the teachers? are similar.
