This essay aims to investigate a rare method of marking up timber before hewing it. The method for marking up timber is by eyesight, where visual judgment and the use of a broad axe are the tools employed. The broad axe is driven through the bark and exposes the inner bark in a straight line. The method is described by a craftsperson dating back to the 1930s. There is a lack of information regarding the method.

An airline company that operates with its fleet needs to ensure that maintenance of a following and certain standard will be implemented. In this project we have sorted and divided the various working procedures of Malmö Aviation into Work Packs. These procedures are mandatory and must therefore be implemented in order to keep the aircraft airworthy at any time. Our task was to optimize and sort these working procedures by zone, panels, access and down time. We have created a maintenance program which Malmö Aviation can use and we have sorted their working procedures in B and C- Checks.Maintenance procedures that did not fit into our Work Packs have been gathered and sent back to Malmö Aviation for further inspection.This project has required a lot of extra reading in manuals and we have had a great insight into the complexity of a technical organization such as Malmö Aviation..

Syfte: Att mäta turisternas konsumtion i samband med ett större idrottsevenemang samt att beräkna skatte- och sysselsättningseffekter till följd av denna under Skid-VM i Falun år 2015.Metod: Turisternas konsumtion har i denna studie mätts genom att ett urval av besökarna på Skidspelen 2013 fört dagbok över sin konsumtion. Vi har även använt sekundärdata i form av en konsumtionsundersökning som är genomförd under Svenska Skidspelen 2012 samt uppgifter från en rapport författad av HUI Research AB.Slutsats: Tre olika scenarion har använts för att beräkna skatte och sysselsättningseffekter. Ett lågt scenario där vi räknar med 140 000 sålda endagsbiljetter vilket är samma antal som Skid- VM i Falun 1993. Ett medelhögt där vi räknar med 200 000 sålda endagsbiljetter vilket är vad arrangören förväntar sig samt slutligen ett högt scenario med 270 000 sålda endagsbiljetter vilket är vad som såldes under Skid-VM i Oslo 2011. Beroende på valt scenario kommer turisternas totala konsumtion i regionen att uppgå till mellan 147 och 197 miljoner kronor.

Stressen ökar allt med i samhället och i människors liv. Därför är det viktigt att finna sätt att motverka de negativa aspekterna av stressen för att må bra. Undersökningar gjorda i Europa och USA visar att kontakt med djur minskar stressnivån i kroppen. Ett antagande i denna studie var att om hundägare upplever sin hund på ett positivt sätt skulle detta leda till ökade buffringsresurser. D.v.s.

I have done a follow up study of the restoration of two rivers, Röälven and Grundan, in order to evaluate the effects of the restoration on the endemic population of trout. Both rivers have been used for timber floating during many years throughout the 20th century, and because of this, had all obstacles such as rocks and wood parts removed. In 2004-2005 both rivers were restored, and rocks and wood were put back into the rivers. Spawning grounds were created and boulder dams were constructed to promote the streaming water. The result showed that the trout population of both rivers increased after the restoration, but also that the trout population of Röälven increased more than that of Grundan.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur en för situationen anpassad kommunikationskarta, en pratkarta, kan möjliggöra samtal mellan en 11-årig pojke med autism och utvecklingsstörning och hans mamma när de samtalar om en händelse som inte händer nu. Erik har inget fungerande tal och är beroende av Alternativ och Kompletterande Kommunikation (AKK). Han har sedan förskoletiden en pärm med löstagbara bilder (PECS), som han använder för att uttrycka sina behov och intentioner. I studien undersöktes hur interaktionen mellan Erik och hans mamma Maria organiserades sekventiellt. Analysen visade att en kommunikationskarta, en pratkarta med bilder anpassade för samtalet, var en viktig gemensam resurs för både Maria och Erik för att initiera, utveckla och avsluta pratstunden.

The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect on growth of foals on two different diets, either a forage-based diet or a diet containing approx. 40 % concentrate. The report also includes a review of the pertinent literature on the effects of diet on mares? milk and growth of horses. The hypothesis of the study was that a forage based diet will result in a similar growth pattern as a diet including more concentrates if the diets contain the same amount of energy, crude protein, lysine, calcium and phosphorous.

This present study is a result of a research that I made . My purpose is to find out how the debate about inclusion looked like back in the history. My research was about the view we had absolut inclusion in the history, I also made some interviewes among teachers and students in the schools of today. I wanted to se their views about inclusion today and I wanted to know their opinions about inclusion. Did the students and the teachers have prejudice against other students with functional disabilities as Down syndrom and blindness? What was their thoughts about inclusion of students with differents functional disabilities?One more task I had with this study I made was to raise another debate about inclusion .! Keywords: Inclusion and funtional disabilities.

In Sweden we have a regulated gambling market which means that there are three gambling companies who are operating under the supervision of the Swedish state. These companies have exclusive rights to the Swedish market, divided between them. AB Svenska Spel is one of them and they control all gambling concerning sporting events and the four casinos in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Sundsvall. However, since a few years back several Internet-based companies have entered the Swedish market and the competition has become even fiercer in the last years. Due to numerous marketing restrictions the Internet companies have been forced to find new ways to strengthen their brand.

Patientens upplevelse av intensivvård (IVA) är starkt präglad av kaotiska och fragmentariska minnen. Dessa minnen har stor betydelse senare i livet och kan då yttra sig som sömnstörningar, mardrömmar, delirium och posttraumatisk stress syndrom. Detta kan bidra till att en försämrad livskvalitet upplevs. Kunskapen om patienternas upplevelse av intensivvård har ökat och påvisar att det finns ett stort behov att hjälpa patienterna genom denna process.Syftet med denna studie är att belysa dagbokens betydelse för patientens bearbetning av minnen från intensivvården. Metoden som är vald är en kvalitativ litteraturstudie.

Drawing from the theoretical foundations of the ?critical theory? of the Frankfurt School and the media ethnographic ?cultural studies? approach of the british Birmingham School, this study attempts to sketch out a media theoretical overview of the contemporary state of media culture. Using the term convergence culture as the foundation, this study offers a theoretical background to the two contemporary streams that are the significant and distinct tendencies of convergence culture: intermedial convergence, its contemporary state and historical tendencies that can be traced back using the past media theoretical approach of the Frankfurt School, and cultural convergence, its contemporary state and historical tendencies, which lineage in a media theoretical context can be traced back to the british ethographic ?cultural studies? field. Using contemporary drama serials to identify and pinpoint these two stream, this study shows how intermedial convergence expresses itself today through media conglomeration in terms of branding, product placement and marketing as the result of the ?completed? convergence between screen culture and popular music as the current defining state of commodity culture.

SUMMARYThe first and most basic skill a rider needs to learn is how to sit correctly in the saddle. This decides whether or not the rider will be able to follow the horse?s movements and use her riding aids in an efficient way. This correct seat is based on a straight line between the axis of the hip and heel. The seat must rest against the saddle with equal weight on both buttocks and the inside of the thighs.

 AbstractMedia has since a long time back been writing about extensive thievery of recreational boats and their engines. The value of the stolen goods is estimated to several hundreds of million Swedish crowns per year. The widespread stealing creates a secondary market where boats sometimes are sold by sellers that do not have the rights to sell the boat. This creates risk for the buyer who most often is a private person. A situation the buyer can face is that the boat was stolen and that the original owner can demand to get the boat or engine back.

Every business is subject to service failures. The process of correcting these failures and turning disappointed customers back into happy ones is called service recovery. This is particularly important in the hotel business, where there are many moments of truth where customers may become dissatisfied. To further complicate things, service recovery is a process where you may have to correct errors of others - people beyond your control. The research field is relatively new and there are no turn-key solutions as to how to systematically work with service recovery.

Mitt arbete handlar om känslor samt psykiska och fysiska aspekter under prestationsmoment: stress, rampfeber och prestationsångest. Jag skriver om kroppsmedvetenhet samt olika typer av förberedelser till prestation på scen.Temat på mitt arbete är ett resultat av min vilja att prestera friare och få bort de destruktiva tankar som har följt mig från början av min musikaliska resa. Genom att experimentera med olika tekniker vill jag bli bättre mentalt förberedd till att bli bra musiker på scen och inte bara i ett övningsrum. Mitt mål med detta arbete är att kunna prestera mer avslappnat i kroppen och samtidigt ta bort stress och panik i så stor utsträckning som möjligt. Jag uppfattar min examenskonsert som ett resultat av mental förberedelse baserad på alla reflektioner som jag beskriver i uppsatsen.
