Utformning av projektorsystem

Det här examensarbetet på D-nivå har utförts i samarbete men företaget XM reality i Linköping. Företaget jobbar med att ta fram olika system inom området mixed reality, som på svenska översätts till förhöjd verklighet. Syftet med projektet var att utforma två olika handhållna projektorsystem. Produkterna skulle utformas för att passa in i sjukhusmiljö. Båda enheterna har samma funktion men innehåller olika komponenter. Produkterna är anpassade till en ny teknik som företaget har utvecklat.

Shape from Silhouette Scanner

The availability of digital models of real 3D objects is becoming more and more important in many different applications (e-commerce, virtual visits etc). Very often the objects to be represented cannot be modeled by means of the classical 3D modeling tools because of the geometrical complexity or color texture. In these cases, devices for the automatic acquisition of the shape and the color of the objects (3D scanners or range scanners) have to be used. The scanner presented in this work, a Shape from silhouette scanner, is very cheap (it is based on the use of a simple digital camera and a turntable) and easy to use. While maintaining the camera on a tripod and the object on the turntable, the user acquires images with different rotation angles of the table.

Fo?r att ma?ta fo?rtroende tar studien ha?nsyn till Harrison McKnights fo?rtroendekonstruktion fo?r e-handel (Trusting beliefs) tillga?nglig i hans studie (McKnight, Choudhury & Kacmar, 2002) Fo?r att ma?ta transparens har en transparenskonstruktion utformats (Perceived transparency). Begreppet transparens i studien har sitt ursprung i egen tolkning med tillho?rande modell och konstruktion.

Betalningssätt via webben : En studie om konsumenters ansedda kunskap angående olika betalningssätt via webben och deras säkerhet

The e-commerce in Sweden has increased each year for the past several years, but still just over half of all the consumers feels worry about payment security. This could be the reason why over half of the consumers just shopped about one time on the Internet during the whole year of 2009. Another reason could be that the many consumers have a lack of trust to the different payment methods that are available during payment on the Internet, because they might don't possess enough knowledge regarding the payment methods and their security. If the consumers were to gain more knowledge about the payment methods and their security, it may lead to that the they would feel more comfortable when shopping online, and do it more frequently. It is this that will be investigated in this paper.The purpose of the paper  is to research if consumers believed knowledge concerning the different payment methods available on the web and their security influence the consumers trust in the payment methods.

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) does not have an explicit definition but instead entail a broad spectrum of various obligations that an organisation is responsible for. CSR has in recent years become a highly relevant and debatable topic as a consequence of the increased exposure of companies to society. Due to an augmented consumption from the general population, CSR is of great importance in companies' aspiration to create and maintain a solid relationship with costumers. Previous researches have described what areas of CSR are most relevant in terms of consumption. However, it can be suggested that these publications have failed to provide an indication of what type of costumers these various areas attract.

Tillblivelsen av "Klassifikationssystem för svenska bibliotek"

The study's aim is to create an understanding for the question why Sweden in 1921chose to create its own classification system for public libraries instead of adapting e.g.the Dewey-system which - at this time - was internationally we11 spread. It examines thesocial changes which proceeded the creation of the Swedish Library Association (SLA)in 1915 and discusses in depth the work of the committee appointed by SLA to createthe classification system. Special interest is also given to the relation between SLACSand the Dewey-system.The study shows that the main influence on the codttee's work was the formerSwedish tradition of classification practice. The Dewey-system was seen as inappropriateto adapt in the Swedish libraries because of the vast changes that wouldhave to be done, and the fact that the decimal notation was practically unused in anylibraries in Sweden.From a methodological point of view, the study tries to apply a critical hermeneuticalapproach as developed by Paul Ricoeur.The study contains an extended English summary..

Att möta döden En litteraturstudie som belyser sjuksköterskors upplevda problem, dess följder samt underlättande faktorer i omvårdnaden av döende patienter

Death can be seen as a sensitive subject and can by that be difficult for many people to talk about. Working as a nurse can imply caring for severe ill and dying patients, which can be regarded as a task that makes great demands. The aim of the present literature review is to illustrate nurses' experiences of problems in association with the care of dying patients to be aware of these. Nine scientific articles were analysed and the result showed that the problems the nurses experienced could be related to four different categories: problems related to organisa-tion/resources, to the nurse herself, to the patient and to family members. The literature review also illustrates consequences of these problems for nurses, and which components that could simplify the nursing care of dying patients..

The purpose of the study is to present a new dimension of innovation as a change of meaning together with the cases we?ve studied. In this final thesis a study about welfare indicators in the Swedish milk production has been carried out. The system Swedish Animal Welfare Monitoring Scheme developed by the Swedish Dairy Association has been used as a base and the EU project WELFARE QUALITY® has also been used as a source of information. Focus groups have been used as a qualitative investigating method. This included four focus groups, two with farm auditors from the two different dairies and two with dairy farmers. This method was chosen because in this way one can study how a conversation about a given subject takes form in a respectable way.

This report has a purpose to identify the payment methods available for e-commerce, tosee if they fulfill certain requirements. By investigating thirty of the most popular webshops, a few primary services have been found and revised. Security requirements fore-payment systems include authentication, non-repudiation, integrity and confidentiality.Other requirements considered to be important are usability, flexibility, affordability,reliability, availability, speed of transaction and interoperability. e-Förtroende : En mätning av aspekter som påverkar konsumentens förtroende vid köp av hemelektronik över Internet

E-handel mellan företag som säljer hemelektronik och svenska konsumenter har blivit vanligare de senaste åren. Trots den kraftiga tillväxten är konsumenter fortfarande ifrågasättande till tryggheten med att handla över Internet. Med hjälp av teori har aspekter identifierats som påverkar konsumentens förtroende till en webbutik. Aspekterna delas in i fyra kategorier; influensbaserade faktorer, upplevelsebaserade faktorer, personlig inställning och erfarenhetsbaserad inställning. Med en kvantitativ studie har vi undersökt vilka faktorer som är viktiga för att konsumenten ska känna förtroende till en webbutik när den handlar hemelektronik.

This work presents the way exiled Tibetans I?ve met view gender and equality. The world is becoming increasingly global and in order to educate future world citizens it is important to make sure that they learn about gender and equality. Males and Females have different cultures and where manly is the norm female is the exception, but it is important to try and level out these differences while children are still in school. This work originates from studies of literature and several interviews with exiled Tibetans in the Indian city of Dharamsala. They are Tibetans with different roles in the exile-Tibetan society and also of different generations and gender.
