The purpose of this study was to describe how journalists do research for their articles and whether there is a need to create a knowledge bank of the material that journalists use for writing these articles. I also looked at how knowledge management could be used at a daily newspaper to add value to the information used by the journalists. The thesis is based on four interviews with journalists, a literature review and a practical project. I helped a journalist with his information seeking and later tried to organize the material. This project gave me an understanding of how varying the material that journalists use is and how difficult it would be to try to organize it in order to create an organizational knowledge resource of the material.

Within the journalistic profession lays a commonly accepted normative view stating that objectivity is an ideal to seek. The aim of this bachelor is to study Swedish sportswriters on local newspaper and their views of journalistic objectivity, and themselves in comparison to the traditional ideals. We want to study how local sportswriter work against their ideal and if factors like age and education affect their view of themselves and ther ideal.We have done eight semistructured deepinterviews that all build on theories and studies of the traditional ideal of journalists. The interviewed are all sportreporters, at four different newspapers. We have done active selection of participants based on age and education.

The aim of this study is to see if the individual developing plans (i.e. individuella utvecklingsplaner) can be used as a tool for the special needs teacher (i.e. specialpedagog) to develop the school in its challenge to meet the needs of every child.  The study is based on contentanalycis and interviews, in order to understand how one school worked with the students´ individual developing plans.The results showed that the school did not use the plans as a tool to develop the education for each and every child, since the plans didn´t affect the tuition.The headmaster did not include the special needs teacher in the responsibility of developing the school.Even though our results showed that the school didn´t use the individual developing plans as a tool for the special educator to develop the school, we still found a possibility for developing the individual educational plans in the capacity of the special needs teacher. The study showed a need of dialogue in which teachers can reflect and problematize their actions and their teaching for the purpose of developing new understanding and new actions in the work with the individual educational plans. We believe that the profession of special needs teacher should supervise these dialogues..

Syfte Syftet med studien är att beskriva och förklara hur redovisningspraxis utformas från en föreslagen redovisningsstandard. Problem Hur utformas redovisningspraxis kring den föreslagna leasingstandarden ED/2013/6 inom Scaniakoncernen? Metodologi Denna studie är baserad på kvalitativ metod. En etnografisk studie har genomförts, vilket inkluderar intervjuer och observationer. Teoretisk referensram I denna studie används förändringsteorier, vilket innebär Burns institutionella teori tillsammans med teorier om maktbaser och motiv för att kunna studera förändringen som en process. Slutsats Redovisningspraxis utformades av Scanias redovisningsspecialist med influenser av deras rapporteringsansvarige och investeringsansvarige. Detta kunde genomföras i och med redovisningsspecialistens tidigare profession och hans nuvarande position inom Scania. Motiven som drev redovisningsspecialistens påverkan på redovisningspraxis var främst de politiska motiven av vad revisorerna skulle godkänna. .

The aim of this study was to examine differences in the experience of intrinsic work-motivation and to examine changes depending on profession, where the purchasers experienced a higher level of individual demands and control than the production leaders. Another purpose was to see how the intrinsic motivation needs predicted mental well-being in the professions. The study was carried out using an internet survey that was distributed by e-mail, there were 98 participants. Two questionnaires were used; Basic Need at Work scale (W-BNS) measured intrinsic motivation and GHQ12 measured mental well-being. The result showed that the staff overall had high intrinsic motivation with highest scores on relatedness followed by competence and lastly autonomy.

I denna C-uppsats problematiseras huruvida pedagogisk dokumentation används för att utveckla demokrati i förskolan. Syftet är att studera pedagogisk dokumentation som medel för att skapa inflytande för barn i förskolan. Studien utgår från en fenomenologisk ansats och den metod som har använts är av kvalitativ art. Resultatet vi fått fram redogör därför inte för en absolut sanning utan för de två intervjuade pedagogernas erfarenheter och vår tolkning av dessa. Informanterna är två pedagoger som arbetar med pedagogisk dokumentation i sin profession.

Socialstyrelsen beskriver en kommande brist på operationssjuksköterskor i Sverige, samtidigt visar statistik av antal ansökningar till specialistutbildningen att färre sjuksköterskor väljer inriktningen operationssjuksköterska. I litteraturen beskrivs operationssjuksköterskans yrke som dolt för utomstående, och det kan vara en orsak till det låga intresset att välja yrket. Syftet med denna pilotstudie var att beskriva sjuksköterskors uppfattningar om operationssjuksköterskans yrke. Studien är genomförd med kvalitativ induktiv ansats som en intervju med öppen ingångsfråga. Data är analyserat med manifest innehållsanalys.

The purpose of this study was to investigate whether social counselling via chat conversations could meet the criteria for a professional conversation, and how the six social workers who were interviewed felt that it had affected the profession and the clients who are seeking their help.Communication, professionality, power, roles and regions are the key topics of this study. A hermeneutic approach has not only influenced the interviews but also the content analysis that was used to encode the results.The interviews revealed that the chat conversations was a successful tool but not entirely without difficulties. The initial contact making between the client and the social worker favours the client, since she/he remains anonymous and that was the main advantage of the method. The biggest concern however was that in the anonymity it is not possible to report cases that the social worker are obligated to. The changing of forum does not necessarily affect the professionality but due to the faceless chat conversation an entire dimension of communication disappears because the loss of body language.

In this thesis the pragmatic pedagogy as formulatad by John Dewey is applied to theswedish national campaign Digidel and its work to spread the digital participation among thegeneral public. The purpose of the thesis is to visualize and problematize that differentunderstandings of a problem, lead to different solutions, as lifted in John Dewey´s pedagogy, thatconstitutes the thesis' theoretical framework. The term digital participation is used by the Digidelcampaign, where public libraries take active part to spread digital participation througheducational efforts. By qualitative interviews with four librarians this thesis examines howunderstandings of the term may vary and in turn lead to differenent educational goals, designsand executions. The result shows that basic computer- and Internetskills are seen as either equelto or prerequisites for digital participation and that the digital participant is seen as either apassive recipient or an active participant.

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze how auditors are affected by quality controls and if audit practice changes because of quality controls. To fulfill the purpose of this study there has been interviews made with five auditors. The conclusion by this study is that the interviewed auditors work practices are affected by quality controls and that the extent and effect depends on the auditor and the office that the auditor works in. The auditors who worked as quality reviewers at the agencies where they are employed at, we felt that they were more secured in the response towards quality controls. This may be because they are quality reviewers themselves and they know what the quality control requires and what must be met to be approved.

How do we match our education with the needs of the construction line of business and the requirementsof the Swedish National Agency for education? Is there something that we have to change?In this study I have asked our former students about their opinion of our education and I have also asked them to give me their view on what a good teacher is like. I have been able to benefit a lot from their answers in my efforts to be that good teacher. This survey took place at Facebook.The answers showed that we carry on a piece of solid workmanship. But you can always improve, try harder.

I denna fallstudie av en specialpedagog belyses uppdraget att stödja lärande och utveckling. Detta uppdrag påverkar och påverkas av den relationella och komplexa värld som skolan är, där lärare befinner sig i ett fält av politiska beslut och styrningseffekter. Syfte med studien är att undersöka hur specialpedagogens uppdrag organiseras, med särskilt fokus på utveckling, och inom detta syfte undersöka hur specialpedagogiska frågor hanteras i skolans praktik. Metoden utgörs av intervjuer och deltagande observationer. Resultatet visar på ett mångfacetterat uppdrag, där specialpedagogens expertroll bygger på särskild kunskap, men där hennes förmåga att stödja lärare till ökade prestationer, är beroende av nära relationer och en specialpedagogik och pedagogik i förening.

Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate former dental hygienist students? view regarding their education at Kristianstad University.Material and methods: This quantitative study was descriptive and the data collection method was used by a questionnaire. This was sent by post to former dental hygienist students at Kristianstad University. In total, 57 dental hygienists participated in the study.Result: The majority of the respondents (94 %, n=54) were content with their education. The education?s primary strength turned out to be the clinical activity that is conducted while at the same time there was a wish for more practice.

AbstractThe phonics is traditionally firmly established within reading acquisition in Swedish schools. The curriculum, Lpo 94 gives spacious independence regarding the question of method and we have to be aware of our own point of view when we are making the decision regarding the method of reading acquisition. Is it tradition or is it our linguistic point of view that is the determining factor? Through this study of literature, different publications from different times are being studied and the ideas and the linguistic point of view are being discussed. Through comparing between the curriculums that have been replaced of one another, and attending to linguistic discussion and research, we will be able to see a change in the linguistic point of view.

Detta arbete syftar till att beskriva huruvida fritidspedagogers värdegrundsarbete främjar hållbar utveckling. Arbetet utgick från frågeställningarna hur fritidspedagoger arbetar med värdegrundsperspektivet alla människors lika värde och hur detta arbete anknyter till att främja hållbar utveckling. Undersökningen har genomförts genom en kvalitativ intervjustudie med fyra yrkesverksamma fritidspedagoger på olika fritidshem. Resultatet redovisas i ett antal kategorier och visar att pedagogerna arbetar utifrån allas lika värde och att det genomsyrar deras profession och arbete. Det visade också att de arbetar utifrån några huvudprinciper vilka är integrering, samtal, demokrati och gemensamt förhållningssätt.
