This study concerns how Muslims are portrayed in a choice of twelve news articles from Swedish dailies and tabloid newspapers on the aftermath of the film Innocence of Muslims published on YouTube. All articles are distributed in the newspapers Aftonbladet, Expressen, Dagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet in the period of September 11th, 2012 until September 30th, 2012.For this study, a qualitative text analysis has been embraced and focus has been on van Dijk?s Critical discourse analysis to the texts, with additional features from semiotics applied on the images.The theories consist of Critical discourse analysis, hegemony, ideology and power, postcolonialism and stereotyping.In the qualitative content analysis, concrete examples from the articles are retrieved and commented. These have been divided into various themes, which are trends that the authors have been able to distinguish in the analysis.The result shows that Muslims in the analyzed newspapers are portrayed as the others, unimportant and extremely religious, in a negative manner rather than a positive. Moreover the press has tendencies to generalize Muslims as a group.

Title: Veingeskolan F - Investigation of the indoor environment and a structural analysisMethod: Complete analysis of structural drawings to determine if the school have been constructed correctly. In my teorethical studies of the drawings I must seek out points that may have been damaged from moisture, this contains a full survey of the foundation, walls and ceiling. To strenghten the data collected from the drawings I must visit the school and do field investigations to find out if the school has any problems with the indoor environment.Analysis: I determined that we had some damages on specific places, these damages was caused by leaking roofs, a carpet that was tarnished by strong sunlight in connection with some type of glue and also the ventilation that may have been drawing malodorous air from a shaft in the foundation.Conclusion: I was able to see that the decision to demolish the school was quite drastic, if the county would have done continuous fixups on the construcion when the employes had complained maybe the action to the tear the school down would have been unnecessary. Denna rapport studerar identifiering och reglering med en extra armsensor ? accelerometer ? på en flexibel industrirobot. Studien har skett både simulerat och experimentellt på en industrirobot.Vid identifiering med accelerometer befinner sig accelerometern i ett roterande koordinatsystem. Denna rapport presenterar en kompenseringsalgoritm för att transformera signalerna från det roterande koordinatsystemet till ett rumsfast koordinatsystem.I denna rapport presenteras regulatorstrukturerna I-PID, II^2-PID och LQG, vilka alla återkopplar motorvinkel och armvinkelacceleration.

QPrEST är en ny intern standard för absolut kvantifiering av proteiner utvecklat av företaget Atlas Antibodies AB. I en marknad där det redan finns etablerade standarder kan det vara svårt att konkurrera ut de nuvarande produkterna. Därför har denna rapport gjorts vilken består av en marknadsanalys av nuvarande standarder, statistisk undersökning av publicerade artiklar inom absolut kvantitativ proteomik samt en global kundundersökning med 35 svarande. The purpose of this Masters thesis is to analyze the research front within medical ethics. We wish to identify which research themes that are included in the subject field of medical ethics. The research themes can be identified by a couple of bibliometrical methods and techniques. In our case, it is bibliographic coupling combined with a cluster analysis. The analysis is accomplished by the extracted references from articles in the two journals Bioethics and Journal of medical ethics.

As the European Landscape Convention is brought into action, planning in Sweden has got to become increasingly considerate of the landscape and its character. To render this possible, a basic requirement is that we find a functional method for analysis. The Landscape is a synthesis of the interplay between place and man. It is made up of our physical environment and shows the result of our actions throughout history. Our surroundings affect us in many ways, financially as well as emotionally. This is why an analysis of the landscape has to be inclusive of many types of information. I have performed a landscape analysis, according to the British Landscape Character Assessment-method, in Svedala kommun.

Denna rapport redovisar den process som utvecklingen av OTWs nya webbplats har inneburit. Jag har arbetet med att skapa en ny design av deras nuvarande webbplats där syftet har varit att skapa en webbplats där man presenterar sig själva på ett bra sätt och ställer mindre krav på redaktionellt innehåll samtidigt som man följer konventioner för branschen och målgruppen. I utvecklingen av webbplatsen anpassar jag mig efter rådande designprinciper och riktlinjer för användbarhet så att webbplatsen ska bli så lätt att använda som möjligt. Utvecklingen av prototypen har skett i mjukvaruprogrammet Axure RP. Resultatet av projektet är två interaktiva digitala prototyper i form av en mobil version samt en desktopversion.

I denna rapport vill vi belysa det problem som många poliser och polisstudenter diskuterar dagligen under vinterhalvåret, polisens vintermössa. Dess utseende skapar känslor som hämmar både yrkesverksamma poliser och polisstudenter i sin vardag. I samband med köldrekord i stora delar av landet det senaste året har detta ämne aktualiserats mer än någonsin. Med hjälp av enkätundersökningar och intervjuer har vi tillfrågat polisstudenter, yrkesverksamma poliser samt allmänheten vad de anser om den aktuella vintermössan och vilka känslor vintermössan kan bära med sig. De resultat vi uppnått i samband med dessa undersökningar är intressanta, och visar tydligt på att vintermössan skapar problem och ett missnöje för många inom detta yrke.

Questions concerning the Cultural Heritage must be integrated in social planning.Therefore there is a need for adequate methods for cultural environmental analysis, toreceive knowledge that is relevant in an integrated conservation. The thesis is a review ofmethods for cultural environmental analysis and discusses the qualifications necessary fora method in order to receive adequate information as well as it discusses what kind ofinformation to be considered relevant. The thesis also analyzes a specific method forcultural environmental analysis in order to exam if it has got the qualifications concludedas necessary if it is to be used in an integrated conservation. The conclusion is that amethod for cultural environmental analysis should collect information about the entireenvironment (integrated information about nature and culture, in a historical perspectiveand how it is today), about social structures, physical remains (buildings etc) and what thecollected information tell about the history of the studied area, as well as what is importantin the landscape of today. Information about how the environment should be treated in thefuture is also of importance.

The purpose with this thesis was to study the special pedagogical perspectives that stood out in documents written by the special teachers in preschool. In order to maintain the thesis research questions a text analysis was carried out on the document ?Handledningssamtal? that was used by the special teachers in their contact with the teachers in preschool. The documents were analyzed based in the special educational perspectives and the results and measures from the analysis were divided into three levels; individual, group and organizational level. Finally a study of the connection between the analysis and the measures was carried out and the result was reported in a typology schedule inspired by earlier research.

Uppsatsen är en mångfaldsundersökning av Sveriges Televisions (SVT) nyhetsprogram Rapport och är genomförd som en fallstudie under våren 2012. Syftet med studien är att undersöka vilka som får komma till tals i nyheterna och utifrån vilket perspektiv: i avseendet representationen av kvinnor, män och personer med minoritetsbakgrund. Därtill har studiens syfte varit att undersöka vilka faktorer i de redaktionella strukturerna och journalistiska villkoren på SVT Riksnyheternas redaktion som kan bidra till att påverka nyhetsinnehållet ur ett mångfaldsperspektiv.En av studiens teoretiska utgångspunkter är att medierna har en sammanhangsskapande funktion och att en rådande maktstruktur reproduceras genom tillskrivandet av en marginaliserande och generaliserande roll till minoriteter. Som Sveriges största nyhetsprogram är det intressant vilken verklighet som SVT Rapport förmedlar i sitt nyhetsinnehåll. Därtill har mångfald på SVT varit ett intressant undersökningsområde då det som public serviceföretag har ett uppdrag att tillhandahålla ett utbud som präglas av mångfald och svarar mot demokratiska behov.I studien kombineras en kvantitativ undersökning, som innebar kodning av Rapports 19.30-sändning i tre sammanhängande veckor och en kvalitativ undersökning, som innefattar observationsstudie på SVT Riksnyheter under två arbetsveckor samt 12 intervjuer med redaktionsmedarbetare.Resultatet visar att Rapport uppnår en relativt jämn könsfördelning i nyhetsinnehållet i avseendet presentationen av kvinnor och män, men att nyhetsinnehållet är könsmärkt och att etniska och kulturella minoriteter tilldelas en undanskymd roll.

This paper deals with the question of when hill forts ? or enclosed mountains ? were built and to what purpose, by examining two enclosed mountains (RAÄ 78 and 79) in Grödinge parish in the province of Södermanland. A phosphate analysis was conducted to trace anthropogenic activities. The analysis showed only a slight elevation of phosphate content in the soil. A histogram indicated that the elevations were not normally distributed, which could suggest that they were caused by anthropogenic activities.

The purpose of this paper is to examine how LKAB are portrayed in the newspaper Dagens Nyheter (DN). The methods that were used were: Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) combined with Critical Linguistic Analysis. These were used since they help to reveal the structures and unconscious meaning and power of word. It gives the tools to see how authority, power and meaning of words are constructed during social practice of the way they are used. To complement the method the theories that?s used are discourse analysis since CDA is both a method and a theory.
