I takt med att konkurrensen på trädgårdsmarknaden ökar blir det allt viktigare att som odlare hela tiden hålla koll på konsumenternas efterfråga för nya arter och sorter. Att våga testa nya växer och presentera dem i sitt sortiment kan ses som en potentiell konkurrensfördel, och bör vara prioriterat hos varje odlare. I denna rapport presenterar jag 10 arter inom släktet Fragaria, ett släkte med stora potentialer att lyckas på marknaden. Jag presenterar både arter anpassade för de nordliga delarna av Sverige, odling i urbana miljöer, som prydnadsväxter och arter som skulle fungera bra för bärodling i hobbyträdgårdarna. De olika arter är anpassade för frilandsodling, ampel- och krukodling, inomhusodling och växthusodling. AbstractMeningsskiljaktigheter och konflikter är en del av vardagen i förskolan. Vårt syfte med denna rapport är att få en insikt i fyra-femåriga barns tankar och känslor kring eventuella konflikter på förskolan samt deras hantering av dessa. I vårt intresse finns även ett visst genusperspektiv; som här innefattas av att eventuellt upptäcka skillnader i flickors respektive pojkars konflikthanteringsmetoder.Rapporten består av en forskningsbakgrund där författare och forskare, specialiserade inom området, ger sin uppfattning kring ämnet. Med tanke på betydelsen av sampel mellan barn och fokus på barns känslor och tankar i denna rapport, är det sociokulturella perspektivet lämpligt som utgångspunkt. Vi tar i forskningsbakgrunden bland annat upp barns utveckling av den empatiska förmågan, förmåga till samspel samt konflikter och utanförskap.

The aim of the study was to investigate how Parkinson?sdisease affects the individual?s ability to give feedback in face to faceinteraction with a significant other and how this affects the conversationalinteraction. The study applied a qualitative approach, using ConversationAnalysis and Activity based communication analysis with altogether fourdyads. The results showed that Parkinson?s disease may have an effect onthe ability to give feedback, shown in an atypical pattern of feedbackpreventing the fulfillment of individual goals in the interaction.

The purpose of this Masters thesis is to make a critical analysis of Journal Impact Factor JIF. JIF is today the most widespread quantitative measure for evaluating scientific journals. Although it is internationally used and is considered authoritarian many problems have been observed. This has led to that the validity of JIF has been questioned. To identify JIFs limitations the following issues have been raised: Which are the problems with citation analysis? What criticisms have been directed towards Journal Impact Factor as a measure for evaluating scientific journals? The theoretical framework consists of theories about citation behaviour and a discussion about the characteristics of a scientific journal.

The purpose of this thesis is to study the relationship between the definition and bibliographical classification of a certain academic subject; social anthropology. The theoretical framework consists of views held in Information Science regarding the definition and classification of subjects. The methodological onset is based on hermeneutical concepts that allow an extended analysis of abstract structures of thought. This analysis comprises of two parts; a descriptive analysis and a comparative analysis. The result of the descriptive analysis, whose aim is to describe the academic subject social anthropology, shows that this is not easy to define, instead it is nowadays almost the same as cultural anthropology.

The objective of this study was to investigate how power relationships between journalists and politicians were shown in the fictional BBC tv-series ?The Hour?. We wanted to investigate how these power structures is narrated by the producers of the series and what impact the narration could have to the audiance of the 21th century.We choose to analyse a total of 12 scenes from all of the six episodes, which are all set in Britain during the beginning of the Suez Canal crisis in the 1950?s, all seen from a BBC editorial point of view.In our analysis we chose to use two different kind of methods, the first one was a situation analysis and the second one a text analysis. The situation method was useful to get a perception of the relations between the participants .The text analysis we used to analyse what was said in the tv-series and to interpret underlying motives.The fictional form necessitated a personalization of power structures, in the sense that each and every power was represented by a single character; political power was for instance represented by the character of Angus McCain.

Allt sedan 1960-talet har det utvecklats så många systemutvecklingsmetoder att det kan vara svårt, som systemutvecklare, att välja rätt metod till det utvecklingsprojekt som ska genomföras. För att underlätta valet av systemutvecklingsmetod kan ett jämförelseramverk vara användbart. Detta för att lättare kunna sätta sig in i de utvecklingsmetoder som finns till hands att välja mellan.Denna rapport fokuserar på att jämföra systemutvecklingsmetoden eXtreme Programming med Structured Systems Analysis and Design Method (SSADM) och Rational Unified Process (RUP). Detta görs med hjälp av ett jämförelseramverk. Syftet är att erhålla en djupare kunskap om vad eXtreme Programming är för en typ av systemutvecklingsmetod och vad den har att erbjuda som de mer etablerade metoderna, SSADM och RUP, inte kan erbjuda och vise versa.Resultatet av rapporten är ett jämförelseramverk som kan användas på ett strukturerat sätt för att erhålla information om systemutvecklingsmetoder.

This thesis deals with the compatibility between analysis software Revit Structure2012 and Robot Structural Analysis 2012. The purpose is to become more aware ofinformation management models to be compatible across different softwareapplications. The structural model is made to be optimal for the compatibility of othersoftware Aim is also to gain an understanding of the transferring methods that exist,and which method is most convenient to use and to examine whether the methodswork in practice. Objective of this project is to make the modeling processtime-efficient for constructors. Models do not need to be structured in severaloccasions in different software; it only needs an optimal model that transfers properlybetween software.The method used in the thesis consist cases where the transferring process isexamined.

This study is a critical discourse analysis of Swedish newspaper articles about prostitution. The purpose of the study is to investigate which discourse/discourses about prostitution that is/are adressed in the articles and identify the power relations and meanings that are constructed by the different subject posititions in the articles. Apart from critical discourse analysis social constructionism and a discussion about gender are applied in the analysis. The results supports findings in earlier research about prostitutionin Sweden; that the debate is focused around prostitution as sexual domination or prostitution regarded as a voluntary choice which rises demands of human rights for sexworkers. No prostitutes or buyers of sex where given the opportunity to comment on the matter, only journalists, politicians, social workers and policemen.

The DuPont formula is one of the most well known and basic tools used for financial statement analysis and is highly useful for understanding firms strategies and operating environment. Previous studies on American listed companies have also shown that analysis of the changes in the DuPont components is useful in forecasting contexts. In this thesis we test whether disaggregating the change in return on net operating assets provides incremental information about future performance for Swedish listed and not listed companies. We find that the change in asset turnover is a leading indicator of increased profitability for both listed and private companies, regardless of size. We also find evidence that the usefulness of the disaggregation for understanding future performance is greater in capital intense industries and lesser in service industries..

Projektet kommer att gå ut på att ta fram en brottarsko som inte är universal som dem som är ute på marknaden idag. Detta är en sko som är speciellt utvecklad för en viss typ brottarstil. Brottarskon kommer att rikta sig mot brottare på elitnivå där marginaler har en avgörande betydelse av matchens resultat. För att nå högsta möjliga resultat kommer projektet gå igenom designmetodikens tre huvuddelar: Analytisk fas, kreativ fas och en utförande fas. Efter sammanställandet av informationen som givits under den analytiska fasen, kommer olika tester att genomföras för att nå bästa resultat.

I denna rapport beskrivs en metod för att kunna optimera den förväntade resultatet från en tur under en omgång av Yatzy. Yatzy är ett klassiskt tärningsspel som kan spelas ensam eller med flera spelare. Det finns sedan tidigare en matematiskt optimal strategi för hur man bäst bör gå tillväga för att optimera det förväntade slutresultatet från en omgång Yatzy, först beskriven av James Glenn för amerikanska regler och sedan applicerad på svenska regler av Markus Larsson och Andreas Sjöberg, som bygger på att bygga upp en graf över alla möjliga tillstånd under spelets gång. I denna rapport beskrivs en mer begränsad version av denna metod,som endast bygger upp en graf över de möjliga tillstånden för den nuvarande turen, med syfte att minska beräkningstid och minnesåtgång för att lagra grafen.Metoden har visat sig vara tillräckligt snabb för användning i begränsade miljöer såsom mobila plattformar, och den genomsnittliga slutpoängen efter ett färdigt spel har efter 10 000 simuleringar beräknats som ungefär 198,6 poäng, runt 50 poäng sämre än Larsson och Sjöbergs metod, och 175 poäng sämre än den högsta möjliga slutpoängen 374. Den är även 12 poäng sämre än en heuristisk beskriven av Nils Dahlbom Norgren och Philip Svensson, men metoden som beskrivs i denna rapport har fördelen att beslutsfattningsstrategierna är enklare att modifiera..

The Picture book - text and image in interaction. A study of Tove Jansson's picturebook: The Book About Moomin, Mymble and Little MyThis study examines Tove Jansson's picture book The Book About Moomin, Mymbleand Little My, to show relationships between text and image in the narration of thestory. This is done through an analysis based on Ulla Rhedins dissertation The picturebook - towards a theory where the conclusion is that the picture book as book mediumcan be divided in three different picture concepts. The various concepts are; the epicpicture book, the expanding text as well as the genuine picture book. This study hasperformed a text and image analysis showing that the image colors, the differentspreads, landscape scenes and characters' placement, et cetera play a role in placingthe picture book in its concept.Tove Jansson used more than text and image to work out the story of theMoomintroll, Mymble and Little My, there are holes in the picture book that have animportant role, which the analysis will show.
